¹他们来到了海的对岸革辣撒人的地方。	¹They arrived on the other side of the lake in the region of the Gerasenes.
²耶稣一下船，即刻有一个附邪魔的人，从坟墓里出来，迎着他走来，	²No sooner did Jesus leave the boat than he was met by a man with evil spirits who had come from the tombs.
³原来那人居住在坟墓里，再没有人能捆住他，就是用锁链也不能，	³He lived among the tombs and no one could restrain him, even with a chain.
⁴因为人屡次用脚镣和锁链将他捆缚，他却将锁链挣断，将脚镣弄碎，没有人能制伏他。	⁴He had often been bound with fetters and chains but he would pull the chains apart and smash the fetters, and no one had the strength to control him.
⁵他昼夜在坟墓里或山陵中喊叫，用石头击伤自己。	⁵Night and day he stayed among the tombs on the hillsides, and was continually screaming and beating himself with stones.
⁶他从远处望见了耶稣，就跑来，跪在他前，	⁶When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell at his feet
⁷大声喊说：「至高天主之子耶稣，我与你有什么相干？我因着天主誓求你，不要苦害我！」	⁷and cried with a loud voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, son of the Most High God? For God's sake I beg you, do not torment me."
⁸因为耶稣曾向他说：「邪魔，从这人身上出去！」	⁸He said this because Jesus had commanded, "Come out of the man, evil spirit."
⁹耶稣问他说：「你名叫什么？」他回答说：「我名叫『军旅』，因为我们众多。」	⁹And when Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" he replied, "Legion is my name, for we are many."
¹⁰他再三恳求耶稣，不要驱逐他们离开此地。	¹⁰And all of them kept begging Jesus not to send them out of that region.
¹¹那时，在那边山坡上，有一大群猪正在牧放，	¹¹Now, a great herd of pigs was feeding on the hillside,
¹²他们恳求耶稣说：「请打发我们到那猪群，好让我们进入牠们内。」	¹²and the evil spirits begged him, "Send us to the pigs and let us go into them."
¹³耶稣准许了他们；邪魔就出来，进入了猪内。那群猪约有二千，便从山崖上直冲到海里，在海里淹死了。	¹³So Jesus let them go. The evil spirits came out of the man and went into the pigs, and immediately the herd rushed down the cliff and all were drowned in the lake.
¹⁴放猪的人就逃去，到城里和乡间传报开了；人都出来看是发生了什么事。	¹⁴The herdsmen fled and reported this in the town and in the countryside, so all the people came to see what had happened.
¹⁵他们来到耶稣跟前，看见那个附魔的人，即为「军旅」所附的人，坐在那里，穿着衣服，神志清醒，就害怕起来。	¹⁵They came to Jesus and saw the man freed of the evil spirits sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, the same man who had been possessed by the legion. They were afraid.
¹⁶看见的人就把附魔的人所遇到的事，和那群猪的事，都给他们述说了。	¹⁶And when those who had seen it told what had happened to the man and to the pigs,
¹⁷他们便请求耶稣离开他们的境界。	¹⁷the people begged Jesus to leave their neighborhood.
¹⁸当耶稣上船时，那曾附过魔的人，恳求耶稣让他同耶稣在一起。	¹⁸When Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed begged to stay with him.
¹⁹耶稣没有允许他，但对他说：「你回家，到你的亲属那里，给他们传述上主为你作了何等大事，怎样怜悯了你。」	¹⁹Jesus would not let him and said, "Go home to your people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you and how he has had mercy on you."
²⁰那人就走了，在十城区开始传扬耶稣为他所作的何等大事，众人都惊奇不已。	²⁰So he went throughout the country of Decapolis telling everyone how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were astonished.
²¹耶稣乘船又渡回对岸，有大伙群众聚集在他周围；他遂留在海滨。	²¹Jesus then crossed to the other side of the lake and while he was still on the shore, a large crowd gathered around him.
²²那时，来了一个会堂长，名叫雅依洛，一见耶稣，就跪伏在他脚前，	²²Jairus, an official of the synagogue, came up and seeing Jesus, threw himself at his feet
²³恳切求他说：「我的小女儿快要死了，请你来，给她覆手，叫她得救回生。」	²³and asked him earnestly, "My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her so that she may get well and live."
²⁴耶稣就同他去了。有一大群人跟随着他，拥挤着他。	²⁴Jesus went with him and many people followed, pressing from every side.
²⁵那时，有一个妇人，患血漏已有十二年。	²⁵Among the crowd was a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years.
²⁶她在许多医生手里，受了许多痛苦，花尽了自己所有的一切，不但没有见效，反而病势更加重了。	²⁶She had suffered a lot at the hands of many doctors and had spent everything she had, but instead of getting better, she was worse.
²⁷她听了有关耶稣的传说，便来到人群中，从后边摸了耶稣的衣裳，	²⁷Since she had heard about Jesus, this woman came up behind him and touched his cloak
²⁸因为她心里想：「我只要一摸他的衣裳，必然会好的。」	²⁸thinking, "If I just touch his clothing, I shall get well."
²⁹她的血源立刻涸竭了，并且觉得身上的疾病也好了。	²⁹Her flow of blood dried up at once, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her complaint.
³⁰耶稣立时觉得有一种能力从自己身上出去，就在人群中回过头来说：「谁摸了我的衣裳？」	³⁰But Jesus was conscious that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"
³¹他的门徒向他说：「你看！群众四面拥挤着你，你还问：谁摸了我？」	³¹His disciples answered, "You see how the people are crowding around you. Why do you ask who touched you?"
³²耶稣四周观望，要看作这事的妇人。	³²But he kept looking around to see who had done it.
³³那妇人明知在自己身上所成的事，就战战兢兢地前来，跪伏在耶稣前，把实情完全告诉了他。	³³Then the woman, aware of what had happened, came forward trembling and afraid. She knelt before him and told him the whole truth.
³⁴耶稣便向她说：「女儿，你的信德救了你，平安去罢！你的疾病必得痊愈！」	³⁴Then Jesus said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace and be free of this illness."
³⁵他还说话的时候，有人从会堂长家里来，说：「你的女儿死了，你还来烦劳师傅做什么？」	³⁵While Jesus was still speaking, some people arrived from the official's house to inform him, "Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Master any further?"
³⁶耶稣听见所说的话，就给会堂长说：「不要怕，只管信。」	³⁶But Jesus ignored what they said and told the official, "Do not fear, just believe."
³⁷除伯多禄、雅各伯和雅各伯的弟弟若望外，他没有让任何人跟他去。	³⁷And he allowed no one to follow him except Peter, James and John, the brother of James.
³⁸他们到了会堂长的家里，耶稣看见群众非常喧噪：有的哭泣，有的哀号，	³⁸When they arrived at the house, Jesus saw a great commotion with people weeping and wailing loudly.
³⁹便进去，给他们说：「你们为什么喧噪哭泣呢？小女孩并没有死，只是睡着了！」	³⁹Jesus entered and said to them, "Why all this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but asleep."
⁴⁰他们都讥笑他。他却把众人赶出去，带着小女孩的父亲和母亲，及同他在一起的人，进了小女孩所在的地方。	⁴⁰They laughed at him. But Jesus sent them outside and went with the child's father and mother and his companions into the room where the child lay.
⁴¹他拿起小女孩的手，对她说：「塔里塔，古木！」意思是：「女孩子，我命你起来！」	⁴¹Taking her by the hand, he said to her, "Talitha kumi!" which means: "Little girl, get up!"
⁴²那女孩子就立刻起来行走，原来她已十二岁了；他们都惊讶得目瞪口呆。	⁴²The girl got up at once and began to walk around. (She was twelve years old.) The parents were astonished, greatly astonished.
⁴³耶稣却严厉命令他们，不要叫任何人知道这事；又吩咐给女孩子吃的。	⁴³Jesus strictly ordered them not to let anyone know about it, and told them to give her something to eat.
