| 1请众感谢上主，呼号他的圣名，请众在万民中，宣扬他的功行。 | 1Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known his works among the nations. |
| 2请众歌颂他，咏赞他，传述他的奇工妙化。 | 2Sing to him, sing his praise, proclaim all his wondrous deeds. |
| 3请你们以他的圣名为光荣，愿寻求上主的人，乐满心中。 | 3Glory in his holy name; let those who seek the Lord rejoice. |
| 4请众寻求上主和他的德能，要时常不断追求他的仪容。 | 4Look to the Lord and be strong; seek his face always. |
| 5请你们记念他所行的奇蹟，他的异事和他口中的判词。 | 5Remember his wonderful works, his miracles and his judgments, |
| 6天主的仆人亚巴郎的后裔，上主拣选的雅各伯的儿子！ | 6you descendants of his servant Abraham, you sons of Jacob, his chosen ones! |
| 7他是上主，是我们的天主，他的统治遍及普世各处。 | 7He is the Lord our God; his judgments reach the whole world. |
| 8他永远怀念着自己的盟约，直到万代不忘自己的许诺； | 8He remembers his covenant forever, his promise to a thousand generations, |
| 9就是向亚巴郎所立的盟约，向依撒格所起的誓诺， | 9the covenant he made with Abraham, the promise he swore to Isaac. |
| 10为雅各伯立为不移的规条，向以色列立为永远的盟约， | 10He confirmed his decree to Jacob, to Israel his eternal covenant: |
| 11说：「我必将客纳罕地赐给你，作你们产业的一分子。」 | 11"To you I will give the land of Canaan as part of your inheritance." |
| 12当他们在那地侨居时，寥寥无几而人数极稀， | 12When they were few in number, strangers in the land, |
| 13从这一族系迁徙到另一族系，从这一国家飘流到另一地域。 | 13wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another, |
| 14他不但不让人把他们压迫，且为了他们还把众王责斥， | 14he allowed no one to oppress them, and for their sake he rebuked kings: |
| 15说：「你们决不可触犯我的受傅者，你们切不可把我的先知伤害！」 | 15"Touch not my anointed ones," he warned, "do my prophets no harm!" |
| 16以后他使飢荒笼罩那地，断绝了食粮的任何供给。 | 16Then he sent a famine and ruined the crop that sustained the land; |
| 17在他们以前他将一人遣去，就是那被出卖为奴隶的若瑟。 | 17he sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave; |
| 18人以铐镣紧扣他的双脚，他的颈项也带上了铁锁， | 18his feet in shackles, his neck in irons |
| 19直到他所讲的那预言实现，上主的话才在他身上应验。 | 19till what he foretold came to pass, and the Lord's word proved him true. |
| 20君王遂派人释放了他，众民的首长解救了他。 | 20The king sent for him, set him free, the ruler of the peoples released him. |
| 21且立他为皇家的宰相，掌管一切皇产的侯王， | 21He put him in charge of his household and made him ruler of all his possessions, |
| 22让他随意指导通国的王侯，以其智谋教训通国的长老。 | 22that he might train his princes and teach his elders wisdom. |
| 23从此以色列进入了埃及，雅各伯也就在含邦作客。 | 23Then Israel came to Egypt, Jacob settled in the land of Ham. |
| 24上主使他的百姓昌旺，比他们的仇敌更强壮。 | 24The Lord made his people fruitful and much stronger than their foes, |
| 25他转变他们的心，仇恨他的百姓，让他们阴险残酷对待他的仆人。 | 25whose hearts he turned to hate his people, to deal deceitfully with his servants. |
| 26他打发他的仆人梅瑟和所拣选的亚郎， | 26Then he sent Moses his servant and Aaron whom he had chosen. |
| 27叫二人对他们将奇蹟和异事行于含邦。 | 27They performed his signs among them, his miracles in the land of Ham. |
| 28上主命降黑暗。立时天昏地暗，然而埃及人却反抗他的圣言。 | 28He sent darkness to the land, but they rebelled against his words. |
| 29他使他们的水都变成血，将他们的鱼类全部杀灭。 | 29He turned their waters into blood, causing their fish to die. |
| 30虾蟆在他们的土内蕃生，跳进了他们众王的内宫。 | 30Their land teemed with frogs, invading even the king's bedroom. |
| 31他一发命，苍蝇便成群飞来，蚊蚋也在他们的各地徘徊， | 31He spoke, and flies and gnats swarmed throughout the country. |
| 32代替时雨，为他们降下冰雹，在他们全国各地雷电闪烁， | 32He gave them hail for rain, and lightning flashed over the land. |
| 33打坏了他们的葡萄和无花果树，又击倒了他们国内的一切树木。 | 33He blighted their vines and fig trees, shattered the trees in the countryside. |
| 34他一发命令蝗虫飞遍，蚱蜢的数目，无法计算， | 34He spoke and locusts came, grasshoppers without number; |
| 35吃光他们地里所有的青草，吞尽他们田间所有的果。 | 35they devoured all the vegetation and the produce of the soil; |
| 36他打击境内所有的头胎，将强壮的长子全部杀害。 | 36then he smote all the firstborn, the firstfruits of their manhood. |
| 37他领出满携金银的以色列，全支派中没有一个人残缺。 | 37He led Israel out of the alien land, laden with silver and gold, and none were left behind. |
| 38以色列出走，埃及人无不欢愉，因为那实在叫他们战兢恐惧。 | 38Egypt was glad when they departed, so filled were they with dread. |
| 39他展布云彩，用以掩护遮阴，他竖立火柱，为在夜间照明。 | 39He spread a cloud as covering, and fire to give them light at night. |
| 40他们一恳求，他就送来鹌鹑，用天降的食粮，饱饫了他们。 | 40They asked for food; he gave them quails and fed them with bread from heaven. |
| 41他辟开了岩石，使水涌出，在沙漠中好像江河流注。 | 41He opened the rock, and water gushed out, flowing like a river through the desert. |
| 42因为他没有把他神圣的许诺遗忘，并且也常怀念着他的仆人亚巴郎。 | 42For he remembered his promise to Abraham, his servant. |
| 43他引百姓欢乐地离去，他率领选民欣然出走。 | 43So he led forth his people with joy, his chosen ones with singing. |
| 44给他们划分了异民的领土，使他们占领了外人的财富， | 44He gave them the lands of the nations, and let them take the fruit of others' toil, |
| 45为叫他们遵行他的诫命，恪守他的命令。亚肋路亚。 | 45that they might keep his statutes and remain obedient to his laws. |
