| 1撒罗满在耶路撒冷，即在他父亲达味看见异像的摩黎雅山上，在耶步斯人敖尔难的禾场上，达味所准备的地方，兴工建造上主的圣殿。 | 1And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, in mount Moria, which had been shewn to David his father, in the place which David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. |
| 2撒罗满在即位后第四年二月兴工建造。 | 2And he began to build in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign. |
| 3撒罗满为建造天主圣殿的基地，按照古尺度计算：长六十肘，宽二十肘。 | 3Now these are the foundations, which Solomon laid, to build the house of God, the length by the first measure sixty cubits, the breadth twenty cubits. |
| 4门廊的长度与圣殿的宽度相等，即二十肘，高二十肘，里面全贴上纯金。 | 4And the porch in the front, which was extended in length according to the measure of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits: and the height was a hundred and twenty cubits: and he overlaid it within with pure gold. |
| 5大殿里面先盖上一层木板，再贴上纯金，上面彫刻上棕树和花环； | 5And the greater house he ceiled with deal boards, and overlaid them with plates of fine gold throughout: and he graved in them palm trees, and like little chains interlaced with one another. |
| 6又以宝石点缀圣殿，甚是华丽；金子都是帕尔瓦因金。 | 6He paved also the floor of the temple with most precious marble, of great beauty. |
| 7正殿、栋梁、门限、墙壁，以及门扇，都贴金子，墙上刻有革鲁宾。 | 7And the gold of the plates with which he overlaid the house, and the beams thereof, and the posts, and the walls, and the doors was of the finest: and he graved cherubims on the walls. |
| 8以后，建造了至圣所，长度与圣殿的宽度相等，即二十肘，宽度也是二十肘；内部贴了六百「塔冷通」纯金。 | 8He made also the house of the holy of holies: the length of it according to the breadth of the temple, twenty cubits, and the breadth of it in like manner twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with plates of gold, amounting to about six hundred talents. |
| 9钉子重五十「协刻耳」金子；连楼阁也贴上了金子。 | 9He made also nails of gold, and the weight of every nail was fifty sicles: the upper chambers also he overlaid with gold. |
| 10在至圣所内，以刻工刻了两个革鲁宾，外面包上黄金； | 10He made also in the house of the holy of holies two cherubims of image work: and he overlaid them with gold. |
| 11革鲁宾的翅膀，共长二十肘：这边革鲁宾的一个翅膀长五肘，伸至这边殿墙；另一个翅膀也长五肘，与另一个革鲁宾的翅膀相接连。 | 11The wings of the cherubims were extended twenty cubits, so that one wing was five cubits long, and reached to the wall of the house: and the other was also five cubits long, and reached to the wing of the other cherub. |
| 12这一个革鲁宾的一个翅膀，也长五肘，伸至那边殿墙；另一个翅膀也长五肘，与前一个革鲁宾的翅膀相接连。 | 12In like manner the wing of the other cherub, was five cubits long, and reached to the wall: and his other wing was five cubits long, and touched the wing of the other cherub. |
| 13两个革鲁宾的翅膀都伸开，共长二十肘；他们双足站立，面向圣殿。 | 13So the wings of the two cherubims were spread forth, and were extended twenty cubits: and they stood upright on their feet, and their faces were turned toward the house without. |
| 14又用蓝线、紫线、朱红线和细麻，作了一帐幔，上面绣上革鲁宾。 | 14He made also a veil of violet, purple, scarlet, and silk: and wrought in it cherubims. |
| 15他又在殿前造了两根柱子，共长三十肘；每根柱子顶上有柱帽，高五肘。 | 15He made also before the doors of the temple two pillars, which were five and thirty cubits high: and their chapiters were five cubits. |
| 16又做了类似项链的花环，置于柱头上；又作了一百个石榴，悬在花环上。 | 16He made also as it were little chains in the oracle, and he put them on the heads of the pillars: and a hundred pomegranates, which he put between the little chains. |
| 17把这两根柱子立在殿前，一左一右：右边的叫雅津，左边的叫波阿次。 | 17These pillars he put at the entrance of the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left: that which was on the right hand, he called Jachin: and that on the left hand, Boot. |
