¹勒玛里雅的儿子培卡黑十七年，约堂的儿子阿哈次登极为犹大王。	¹In the seventeenth year of Phacee the son of Romelia reigned Achaz the son of Joatham king of Juda.
²他登极时年二十岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。他没有像他祖先达味一样，行了上主他的天主视为正义的事，	²Achaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: he did not that which was pleasing in the sight of the Lord his God, as David his father.
³却走了以色列列王的路，仿效上主从以色列子民面前赶走的异民的丑恶之事，令自己的儿女经火献神，	³But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel: moreover he consecrated also his son, making him pass through the fire according to the idols of the nations: which the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.
⁴又在高处丘陵和绿树下，焚香献祭。	⁴He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places and on the hills, and under every green tree.
⁵那时，阿兰王勒斤和以色列王勒玛里雅的儿子培卡黑，前来进攻耶路撒冷，围困阿哈次，却不能取胜。	⁵Then Basin king of Syria, and Phacee son of Romelia king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to fight: and they besieged Achaz, but were not able to overcome him.
⁶就在这时，厄东王收回厄拉特重归厄东，将犹大人从厄拉特赶走；厄东人进入厄拉特，住在那里直到今日。	⁶At that time Rasin king of Syria restored Aila to Syria, and drove the men of Juda out of Aila: and the Edomites came into Aila, and dwelt there unto this day.
⁷阿哈次派使者去见亚述王提革拉特丕肋色尔说：「我是你的仆人，你的儿子，请你上来救我脱离阿兰王和以色列王的手，因为他们来攻打我。」	⁷And Achaz sent messengers to Theglathphalasar king of the Assyrians, saying: I am thy servant, and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who are risen up together against me.
⁸阿哈次拿出上主殿内和王宫府库内贮藏的金银来，送给亚述王作礼品。	⁸And when he had gathered together the silver and gold that could be found in the house of the Lord, and in the king's treasures, he sent it for a present to the king of the Assyrians.
⁹亚述王遂听从了他的要求，立即前去进攻大马士革，占领了那城，将那里的居民掳往克尔，杀了勒斤。	⁹And he agreed to his desire: for the king of the Assyrians went up against Damascus, and laid it waste: and he carried away the inhabitants thereof to Cyrene, but Basin he slew.
¹⁰阿哈次王曾去大马士革，会见亚述王提革拉特丕肋色尔，他看见了大马士革的祭坛，就给司祭乌黎雅送去了那座祭坛的图案模型，和详尽的制造法。	¹⁰And king Achaz went to Damascus to meet Theglathphalasar king of the Assyrians, and when he had seen the altar of Damascus, king Achaz sent to Urias the priest a pattern of it, and its likeness according to all the work thereof.
¹¹乌黎雅司祭完全依照阿哈次王从大马士革送来的祭坛式样，建筑了一座祭坛；乌黎雅司祭就在阿哈次王从大马士革回来以前，完全照样造好。	¹¹And Urias the priest built an altar according to all that king Achaz had commanded from Damascus, so did Urias the priest, until king Achaz came from Damascus.
¹²君王从大马士革回来，看见那座祭坛，就近前上去，	¹²And when the king was come from Damascus, he saw the altar and worshipped it: and went up and offered holocausts, and his own sacrifice.
¹³奉献了他的全燔祭和素祭，行了奠祭，将和平祭的血洒在祭坛上。	¹³And offered libations and poured the blood of the peace offerings, which he had offered upon the altar.
¹⁴然后，将上主面前的铜祭坛，从殿的前面，即从新祭坛和上主之殿的中间搬出来，放在新祭坛的北边。	¹⁴But the altar of brass that was before the Lord, he removed from the face of the temple, and from the place of the altar, and from the place of the temple of the Lord: and he set it at the side of the altar toward the north.
¹⁵阿哈次王吩咐司祭乌黎雅说：「你应在这大祭坛上焚烧早晨的全燔祭，晚上的素祭，君王的全燔祭和素祭，地方上全体人民的全燔祭、素祭和奠祭；全燔祭的血和各种牺牲的血，你也应洒在这祭坛上；至于这铜祭坛，让我再加考虑。」	¹⁵And king Achaz commanded Urias the priest saying: Upon the great altar offer the morning holocaust, and the evening sacrifice, and the king's holocaust, and his sacrifice, and the holocaust of the whole people of the land, and their sacrifices, and their libations: and all the blood of the holocaust, and all the blood of the victim thou shalt pour out upon it: but the altar of brass shall be ready at my pleasure.
¹⁶司祭乌黎雅就照阿哈次所吩咐的一切做了。	¹⁶So Urias the priest did according to all that king Achaz had commanded him.
¹⁷后来，阿哈次王又拆毁了盆座上的镶板，挪去了座上的铜盆，将铜牛上的铜海搬下，放在石铺的地上。	¹⁷And king Achaz took away the graven bases, and the laver that was upon them: and he took down the sea from the brazen oxen that held it up, and put it upon a pavement of stone.
¹⁸此外，为了亚述王的缘故，又拆除了在殿内建造的宝座，和君王从外面来到上主殿内的外门。	¹⁸The Musach also for the sabbath, which he had built in the temple: and the king's entry from without he turned into the temple of the Lord, because of the king of the Assyrians.
¹⁹阿哈次其余的事蹟，他行的一切，都记载在《犹大列王实录》上。	¹⁹Now the rest of the acts of Achaz, which he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?
²⁰阿哈次与祖先同眠，与祖先同葬在达味城；他的儿子希则克雅继位为王。	²⁰And Achaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with them in the city of David, and Ezechias his son reigned in his stead.
