¹达味刚走过山顶不远，看，默黎巴耳的仆人漆巴正牵着一对备好鞍子的驴，驮着两百个饼，一百串葡萄乾，一百鲜果和一皮囊酒，前来迎接君王。	¹And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold Siba the servant of Miphiboseth came to meet him with two asses, laden with two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred bunches of raisins, a hundred cakes of figs, and a vessel of wine.
²君王对漆巴说：「你带这些东西来作什么？」漆巴说：「驴是为君王的家眷骑的，饼和水果是为僮仆吃的，酒是为在旷野里疲倦了的人喝的。」	²And the king said to Siba: What mean these things? And Siba answered: The asses are for the king's household to sit on: and the loaves and the figs for thy servants to eat, and the wine to drink if any man be faint in the desert.
³君王问说：「你主人的儿子在那里？」漆巴回答君王说：「他仍留在耶路撒冷，因为他说：今日以色列家会将我父亲的王位归还给我了！」	³And the king said: Where is thy master's son? And Siba answered the king: He remained in Jerusalem, saying: Today will the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.
⁴君王对漆巴说：「看，凡属默黎巴耳的，都归你所有！」漆巴答说：「我屈膝叩拜我主大王！愿我在你眼中获得宠幸。」	⁴And the king said to Siba: I give thee all that belonged to Miphiboseth. And Siba said: I beseech thee let me find grace before thee, my lord, O king.
⁵达味王来到巴胡陵时，看，出来一个撒乌耳家族的人，是革辣的儿子，名叫史米的。他骂着走来，	⁵And king David came as far as Bahurim: and behold there came out from thence a man of the kindred of the house of Saul named Semei, the son of Gera, and coming out he cursed as he went on,
⁶投石袭击达味和达味王的众臣仆，虽然百姓和勇士都围在王的左右，他毫不畏惧。	⁶And he threw stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people, and all the warriors walked on the right, and on the left side of the king.
⁷史米这样骂君王说：「滚罢！滚罢！你这个杀人王！你这个败类！	⁷And thus said Semei when he cursed the king: Come out, come out, thou man of blood, and thou man of Belial.
⁸上主将撒乌耳一家的血都归在你身上，你夺了他的王位，现在，上主将王权交在你儿子阿贝沙隆手里，使你陷入绝境，足见你是个杀人王。」	⁸The Lord hath repaid thee for all the blood of the house of Saul: because thou hast usurped the kingdom in his stead, and the Lord hath given the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and behold thy evils press upon thee, because thou art a man of blood.
⁹责鲁雅的儿子阿彼瑟对君王说：「为什么让这死狗辱骂我主大王？让我去砍下他的头来！」	⁹And Abisai the son of Sarvia said to the king: Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? I will go, and cut off his head.
¹⁰君王说：「责鲁雅的儿子，我和你们有什么关系？让他骂罢！如果上主吩咐他说：你咒骂达味！谁还敢说：你为什么这样做？」	¹⁰And the king said: What have I to do with you, ye sons of Sarvia? Let him alone and let him curse: for the Lord hath bid him curse David: and who is he that shall dare say, why hath he done so?
¹¹达味对阿彼瑟和他的众臣仆说：「唉！我亲生的儿子，尚且谋害我的性命，这个本雅明人更将如何？让他骂罢！因为上主吩咐了他。	¹¹And the king said to Abisai, and to all his servants: Behold my son, who came forth from my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now a son of Jemini? let him alone that he may curse as the Lord hath bidden him.
¹²也许上主会怜视我的困苦，会将他今日的咒骂，变为我的幸福。」	¹²Perhaps the Lord may look upon my affliction, and the Lord may render me good for the cursing of this day.
¹³达味与跟随自己的人沿路前行，史米也沿着山麓与他平排进行，边走边骂，向他抛石撒土。	¹³And David and his men with him went by the way. And Semei by the hill's side went over against him, cursing, and casting stones at him, and scattering earth.
¹⁴君王与跟随他的众人，来到约但河岸，十分疲倦，就在那里暂且休息。	¹⁴And the king and all the people with him came weary, and refreshed themselves there.
¹⁵阿贝沙隆与跟随他的众以色列人进了耶路撒冷，阿希托费耳也同他在一起。	¹⁵But Absalom and all his people came into Jerusalem, and Achitophel was with him.
¹⁶当达味的朋友阿尔基人胡瑟来见阿贝沙隆时，便对阿贝沙隆说：「大王万岁！大王万岁！」	¹⁶And when Chusai the Arachite, David's friend, was come to Absalom, he said to him: God save thee, O king, God save thee, O king.
¹⁷阿贝沙隆对胡瑟说：「这是你对你朋友的恩情吗？为什么没有去跟随你的朋友？」	¹⁷And Absalom said to him: Is this thy kindness to thy friend? Why wentest thou not with thy friend?
¹⁸胡瑟回答阿贝沙隆说：「不，因为，凡上主和这个民族以及全以色列人所拣选的，我就归顺他，与他住在一起。	¹⁸And Chusai answered Absalom: Nay: for I will be his, whom the Lord hath chosen, and all this people, and all Israel, and with him will I abide.
¹⁹再者，我要事奉的是谁呢？不是他儿子吗？先前我怎样服事了你父亲，如今我也愿怎样服事你。」	¹⁹Besides this, whom shall I serve? is it not the king's son? as I have served thy father, so will I serve thee also.
²⁰阿贝沙隆对阿希托费耳说：「你们商讨一下，我们该作什么？」	²⁰And Absalom said to Achitophel: Consult what we are to do.
²¹阿希托费耳对阿贝沙隆说：「你应去亲近你父亲留下看守宫殿的嫔妃，叫全以色列人知道你已惹下了你父亲的仇恨，那些支持你的人就必更坚强。」	²¹And Achitophel said to Absalom: Go in to the concubines of thy father, whom he hath left to keep the house: that when all Israel shall hear that thou hast disgraced thy father, their hands may be strengthened with thee.
²²于是，人们在屋顶上，给阿贝沙隆支搭了一座帐棚；阿贝沙隆当着众以色列人的面，亲近了他父亲的嫔妃。	²²So they spread a tent for Absalom on the top of the house, and he went in to his father's concubines before all Israel.
²³那时，阿希托费耳所出的主意，好像是询问天主得来的神谕。凡阿希托费耳所出的主意，无论对达味，或对阿贝沙隆，都是如此。	²³Now the counsel of Achitophel, which he gave in those days, was as if a man should consult God: so was all the counsel of Achitophel, both when he was with David, and when he was with Absalom.
