¹达味又调集了以色列所有的精兵，共三万人。	¹And David again gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
²达味和他身边所有的人，起身到犹大巴阿拉去，要从那里将天主的约柜运上来。这约柜名叫「坐于革鲁宾上的万军的上主。」	²And David arose and went, with all the people that were with him of the men of Juda to fetch the ark of God, upon which the name of the Lord of hosts is invoked, who sitteth over it upon the cherubims.
³人遂将天主的约柜，从丘陵上的阿彼纳达布家里抬出，放在一辆新车上，阿彼纳达布的两个儿子，乌匝和阿希约驾驶新车。	³And they laid the ark of God upon a new cart: and took it out of the house of Abinadab, who was in Gabaa: and Oza, and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.
⁴乌匝走在天主约柜的后面，阿希约走在前面。	⁴And when they had taken it out of the house of Abinadab, who was in Gabaa, Ahio having care of the ark of God went before the ark.
⁵达味和以色列全家在上主面前兴高采烈地舞蹈作乐，弹琴、击弦、敲鼓、摇铃、击钹。	⁵But David and all Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments made of wood, on harps and lutes and timbrels and cornets and cymbals.
⁶当他们来到纳贡的禾场时，因为牛几乎使天主的约柜倾倒，乌匝便伸手扶住。	⁶And when they came to the floor of Nachon, Oza put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it: because the oxen kicked and made it lean aside.
⁷为了他一时的冒失，上主就向乌匝发怒，将他击杀，他便死在天主的约柜旁。	⁷And the indignation of the Lord was enkindled against Oza, and he struck him for his rashness: and he died there before the ark of God.
⁸达味因为上主击杀了乌匝，很觉悲伤，于是那地方名叫培勒兹乌匝，直到今日。	⁸And David was grieved because the Lord had struck Oza, and the name of that place was called: The striking of Oza, to this day.
⁹那天，达味对上主害了怕，心想：「上主的约柜如何能进入我那里？」	⁹And David was afraid of the Lord that day, saying: How shall the ark of the Lord come to me?
¹⁰因此，达味不愿上主的约柜迁入达味城自己那里，却运往加特人敖贝得厄东家中。	¹⁰And he would not have the ark of the Lord brought in to himself into the city of David: but he caused it to be carried into the house of Obededom the Gethite.
¹¹上主的约柜在加特人敖贝得厄东家中，存放了三个月，上主祝福了敖贝得厄东和他的全家。	¹¹And the ark of the Lord abode in the house of Obededom the Gethite three months: and the Lord blessed Obededom, and all his household.
¹²有人告诉达味，上主为了天主的约柜祝福了敖贝得厄东的家，和他所有的一切。达味就去将天主的约柜，由敖贝得厄东家兴高彩烈地抬上达味城来。	¹²And it was told king David, that the Lord had blessed Obededom, and all that he had, because of the ark of God. So David went, and brought away the ark of God out of the house of Obededom into the city of David with joy. And there were with David seven choirs, and calves for victims.
¹³每当抬上主约柜的人走六步，他就祭献一头牛和一只肥羊。	¹³And when they that carried the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a ram:
¹⁴同时达味束着细麻的「厄弗得」，在上主面前尽力跳舞。	¹⁴And David danced with all his might before the Lord: and David was girded with a linen ephod.
¹⁵这样，达味与以色列全家大声欢呼，吹起号筒，将上主的约柜迎上来。	¹⁵And David and all the house of Israel brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord with joyful shouting, and with sound of trumpet.
¹⁶当上主的约柜进入达味城时，撒乌耳的女儿米加耳，由窗内窥看，见达味王在上主面前跳跃舞蹈，心中就轻视他。	¹⁶And when the ark of the Lord was come into the city of David, Michol the daughter of Saul, looking out through a window, saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord: and she despised him in her heart.
¹⁷他们将上主的约柜抬来，安置在预备好的地方，停在达味为约柜建立的帐幕中央；达味给上主奉献了全燔祭与和平祭。	¹⁷And they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle, which David had pitched for it: and David offered holocausts, and peace offerings before the Lord.
¹⁸达味献完了全燔祭与和平祭后，以万军上主的名祝福了百姓。	¹⁸And when he had made an end of offering holocausts and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts.
¹⁹以后，分给所有百姓，全以色列民众，不论男女，每人一块饼，一块肉，一块葡萄干饼。然后百姓各自回了本家。	¹⁹And he distributed to all the multitude of Israel both men and women, to every one, a cake of bread, and a piece of roasted beef, and fine flour fried with oil: and all the people departed every one to his house.
²⁰达味回来祝福本家时，撒乌耳的女儿米加耳出来迎接达味说：「以色列的君王今天多么荣耀！他今天在臣仆的婢女前赤身露体，活像一个赤身露体的小丑。」	²⁰And David returned to bless his own house: and Michol the daughter of Saul coming out to meet David, said: How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself before the handmaids of his servants, and was naked, as if one of the buffoons should be naked.
²¹达味回答米加耳说：「在废弃你父和他全家，而选拔了我的上主面前，在派我为上主百姓以色列首领的上主面前，我甘愿舞蹈，	²¹And David said to Michol: Before the Lord, who chose me rather than thy father, and than all his house, and commanded me to be ruler over the people of the Lord in Israel,
²²甘愿加倍卑贱我自己！我在你眼中被视为卑贱，但在你所说的婢女们前，我必受到尊敬。」	²²I will both play and make myself meaner than I have done: and I will be little in my own eyes: and with the handmaid of whom thou speakest, I shall appear more glorious.
²³从此撒乌耳的女儿米加耳，到死再没有生育。	²³Therefore Michol the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.
