| 1那时保佑你国家子民的伟大护守天使弥额尔必要起来；那将是一个灾难的时期，是自开国以来，直到那时从未有过的；那时，你的人民，凡是名录在那书上的，都必得救。 | 1But at that time shall Michael rise up, the great prince, who standeth for the children of thy people: and a time shall come such as never was from the time that nations began even until that time. And at that time shall thy people be saved, every one that shall be found written in the book. |
| 2许多长眠于尘土中的人，要醒起来：有的要入于永生，有的要永远蒙羞受辱。 | 2And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake: some unto life everlasting, and others unto reproach, to see it always. |
| 3贤明之士要发光有如穹苍的光辉；那些引导多人归于正义的人，要永远发光如同星辰。 | 3But they that are learned shall shine as the brightness of the firmament: and they that instruct many to justice, as stars for all eternity. |
| 4至于你，达尼尔！你要隐藏这些话，密封这部书，直到末期；将有许多人要探讨，因而智识必要增长。 | 4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time appointed: many shall pass over, and knowledge shall be manifold. |
| 5那时我达尼尔观望：看见另有两位天使，一位站在河岸这边，一位站在河岸那边。 | 5And I Daniel looked, and behold as it were two others stood: one on this side upon the bank of the river, and another on that side, on the other bank of the river. |
| 6我就问那身穿细麻衣，站在河水上的人说：「几时这些奇事才会实现呢？」 | 6And I said to the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? |
| 7我听见那身穿细麻衣，站在河水上的人向天举起左手及右手，指着永生者起誓说：「的确，这事必须经过一段时期，另两段时期和半段时期：直到摧残圣民的势力终止时，这一切事才要实现。」 | 7And I heard the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: when he had lifted up his right hand, and his left hand to heaven, and had sworn, by him that liveth for ever, that it should be unto a time, and times, and half a time. And when the scattering of the band of the holy people shall be accomplished, all these things shall be finished. |
| 8我听了以后，仍不明白，便问说：「我主！这些事的结局究竟怎样？」 | 8And I heard, and understood not. And I said: O my lord, what shall be after these things? |
| 9他回答说：「达尼尔，你去罢！因为这些事隐藏密封，直到末期。 | 9And he said: Go, Daniel, because the words are shut up, and sealed until the appointed time. |
| 10将有许多人要使自己纯洁清白，并受锻炼，而恶人却要更加作恶；凡作恶的人不能明白，惟有贤明之士才能明白。 | 10Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire: and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand. |
| 11自从废弃日常祭，设立那招致荒凉的可憎之物的时候起，必要经历一千二百九十天。 | 11And from the time when the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination unto desolation shall be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days, |
| 12凡能守候直到一千三百三十五天的，是有福的。 | 12Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh unto a thousand three hundred thirty-five days. |
| 13你应去等候末期，好好安息罢！到末日，你要起来接受你的福分。」 | 13But go thou thy ways until the time appointed: and thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot unto the end of the days. |
