¹那时上主对我说：「你再凿两块石版，与先前的一样，然后上山到我跟前来；还要做一个木柜。	¹At that time the Lord said to me: Hew thee two tables of stone like the former, and come up to me into the mount: and thou shalt make an ark of wood,
²我要把你先前摔碎的那两块版上的话，写在这两块版上。你要将这两块石版放在柜里。」	²And I will write on the tables the words that were in them, which thou brokest before, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
³我于是做了一个皂荚木柜，凿了两块与先前一样的石版，手里拿着这两块石版上山去了。	³And I made an ark of setim wood And when I had hewn two tables of stone like the former, I went up into the mount, having them in my hands.
⁴上主将先前所写的，即在集会之日，在山上由火中对你们所说的那十句话，写在这两块版上，交给了我。	⁴And he wrote in the tables, according as he had written before, the ten words, which the Lord spoke to you in the mount from the midst of the fire, when the people were assembled: and he gave them to me.
⁵我遂转身下山，照上主吩咐我的，将版放在我做的柜内，存在那里。	⁵And returning from the mount, I came down, and put the tables into the ark, that I had made, and they are there till this present, as the Lord commanded me.
⁶以色列子民由贝洛特贝乃雅干起程，到了摩色辣，亚郎在那里死了，也埋在那里；他的儿子厄肋阿匝尔继他做了大司祭。	⁶And the children of Israel removed their camp from Beroth of the children of Jacan into Mosera, where Aaron died and was buried, and Eleazar his son succeeded him in the priestly office.
⁷又从那里起程，到了古德哥达，又从古德哥达到了多溪水之地约特巴达。	⁷From thence they came to Gadgad, from which place they departed, and camped in Jetebatha, in a land of waters and torrents.
⁸那时，上主选拔了肋未支派，叫他们抬上主的约柜，侍立在上主面前事奉他，并奉他的名祝福，直到今日。	⁸At that time he separated the tribe of Levi, to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to stand before him in the ministry, and to bless in his name until this present day.
⁹为此，肋未人同自己的兄弟没有分得产业，因为照上主你的天主对他们所说的：上主自己是他们的产业。	⁹Wherefore Levi hath no part nor possession with his brethren: because the Lord himself is his possession, as the Lord thy God promised him.
¹⁰我如先前一样，在山上逗留了四十天四十夜；上主这一次又俯听了我，放弃了消灭你的意思。	¹⁰And I stood in the mount, as before, forty days and nights: and the Lord heard me this time also, and would not destroy thee.
¹¹上主且对我说：「起来，在人民前面领路，叫他们去占领我对他们祖先誓许要赐给他们的地方。」	¹¹And he said to me: Go, and walk before the people, that they may enter, and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers that I would give them.
¹²以色列！现今上主你的天主向你要求什么？是要求你敬畏上主你的天主，履行他的一切道路，爱他，全心全灵事奉上主你的天主，	¹²And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but that thou fear the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways, and love him, and serve the Lord thy God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul:
¹³遵守我今天吩咐你的天主的诫命和法令，好使你能获得幸福。	¹³And keep the commandments of the Lord, and his ceremonies, which I command thee this day, that it may be well with thee?
¹⁴看天与天上的天，地和地上的一切，都属于上主你的天主；	¹⁴Behold heaven is the Lord's thy God, and the heaven of heaven, the earth and all things that are therein.
¹⁵但上主只喜欢了你的祖先，钟爱他们，由万民中拣选了他们的后裔，就是你们，正如你们今日所见的一样。	¹⁵And yet the Lord hath been closely joined to thy fathers, and loved them and chose their seed after them, that is to say, you, out of all nations, as this day it is proved.
¹⁶为此，你们要心受割损，不要再执拗，	¹⁶Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and stiffen your neck no more.
¹⁷因为上主你们的天主是万神之神，万主之主，伟大、有力、可畏的天主，是不顾情面，不受贿赂，	¹⁷Because the Lord your God he is the God of gods, and the Lord of lords, a great God and mighty and terrible, who accepteth no person nor taketh bribes.
¹⁸为孤儿、寡妇主持正义，友爱外方人，供给他们食粮和衣服的天主。	¹⁸He doth judgment to the fatherless and the widow, loveth the stranger, and giveth him food and raiment.
¹⁹为此，你们也应友爱外方人，因为你们在埃及也曾做过外方人。	¹⁹And do you therefore love strangers, because you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.
²⁰你应敬畏上主你的天主，事奉依赖他，奉他的名起誓。	²⁰Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him only: to him thou shalt adhere, and shalt swear by his name.
²¹他是你的光荣，是你的天主，是他为你做了你亲眼所见的奇异可畏的事。	²¹He is thy praise, and thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thy eyes have seen.
²²你的祖先下到埃及时，总共不过七十人，现在上主你的天主却使你多得有如天上的繁星。	²²In seventy souls thy fathers went down into Egypt: and behold now the Lord thy God hath multiplied thee as the stars of heaven.
