| 1肋未人司祭即全肋未支派，在以色列中没有分子和产业，他们靠献与上主的火祭祭品，和他们应得的一分维持生活。 | 1The priests and Levites, and all that are of the same tribe, shall have no part nor inheritance with the rest of Israel, because they shall eat the sacrifices of the Lord, and his oblations, |
| 2他在兄弟中间没有产业；照上主向他所说的，上主自己要作他们的产业。 | 2And they shall receive nothing else. of the possession of their brethren: for the Lord himself is their inheritance, as he hath said to them. |
| 3这是司祭由人民应得的一份，就是宰杀牛羊作祭献的人，应将前腿、两腮和胃脏给司祭； | 3This shall be the priest's due from the people, and from them that offer victims: whether they sacrifice an ox, or a sheep, they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the breast: |
| 4初收的五谷、酒、油和初剪的羊毛，亦应给他， | 4The firstfruits also of corn, of wine, and of oil, and a part of the wool from the shearing of their sheep. |
| 5因为上主你的天主由各支派中拣选了他，叫他和他的子孙，时时以上主的名义服役供职。 | 5For the Lord thy God hath chosen him of all thy tribes, to stand and to minister to the name of the Lord, him and his sons for ever. |
| 6如果一个住在以色列境内任何城镇的肋未人，离开了本地，一心一意地要到上主所选的地方去， | 6If a Levite go out of any one of the cities throughout all Israel, in which he dwelleth, and have a longing mind to come to the place which the Lord shall choose, |
| 7他可因上主的名义供职，如同在那里侍立于上主面前的肋未弟兄们一样， | 7He shall minister in the name of the Lord his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, that shall stand at that time before the Lord. |
| 8分享同样的口粮，不必变卖祖产。 | 8He shall receive the same portion of food that the rest do: besides that which is due to him in his own city, by succession from his fathers. |
| 9几时你进入了上主你的天主赐给你的土地，不要仿傚那些异民做可憎恶的事。 | 9When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God shall give thee, beware lest thou have a mind to imitate the abominations of those nations. |
| 10在你中间，不可容许人使自己的儿子或女儿经过火，也不可容许人占卜、算卦、行妖术或魔术； | 10Neither let there be found among you any one that shall expiate his son or daughter, making them to pass through the fire: or that consulteth soothsayers, or observeth dreams and omens, neither let there be any wizard, |
| 11或念咒、问鬼、算命和求问死者； | 11Nor charmer, nor any one that consulteth pythonic spirits, or fortune tellers, or that seeketh the truth from the dead. |
| 12因为凡做这些事的人，都是上主所憎恶的；其实就是为了这些可憎恶的事，上主你的天主才把他们由你面前赶走。 | 12For the Lord abhorreth all these things, and for these abominations he will destroy them at thy coming. |
| 13你应一心一意属于上主你的天主。 | 13Thou shalt be perfect, and without spot before the Lord thy God. |
| 14你要赶走的这些民族，听信了算卦和占卜的人；但上主你的天主为你却不是这样安排； | 14These nations, whose land thou shalt possess, hearken to soothsayers and diviners: but thou art otherwise instructed by the Lord thy God. |
| 15上主你的天主，要由你中间，由你兄弟中，为你兴起一位像我一样的先知，你们应听信他。 | 15The Lord thy God will raise up to thee a PROPHET of thy nation and of thy brethren like unto me: him thou shalt hear: |
| 16正如你在曷勒布集会之日，求上主你的天主说：『惟愿我再不听见上主我的天主的声音，再不看见这烈火，免得我死亡。』 | 16As thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the assembly was gathered together, and saidst: Let me not hear any more the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see any more this exceeding great fire, lest I die. |
| 17上主遂对我说：『他们说得有理， | 17And the Lord said to me: They have spoken all things well. |
| 18我要由他们的兄弟中，给他们兴起一位像你一样的先知，我要将我的话放在他口中，他要向他们讲述我所吩咐他的一切。 | 18I will raise them up a prophet out of the midst of their brethren like to thee: and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him. |
| 19若有人不听信他因我的名所说的话，我要亲自同他算帐。 | 19And he that will not hear his words, which he shall speak in my name, I will be the revenger. |
| 20但是，若一位先知擅敢因我的名说我没有吩咐他说的话，或因其他神的名说话，这位先知应该处死。』 | 20But the prophet, who being corrupted with pride, shall speak in my name things that I did not command him to say, or in the name of strange gods, shall be slain. |
| 21也许你心里想：『我们怎能知道上主未曾说过这话？』 | 21And if in silent thought thou answer: How shall I know the word that the Lord hath not spoken? |
| 22几时一位先知因上主之名说话，若他的话不实现，不应验，这话就不是上主说的，是先知擅自说的，你不用怕他。 | 22Thou shalt have this sign: Whatsoever that same prophet foretelleth in the name of the Lord, and it cometh not to pass: that thing the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath forged it by the pride of his mind: and therefore thou shalt not fear him. |
