| 1你若实在听从上主你的天主的话，谨守遵行我今天吩咐你的这一切诫命，上主你的天主必使你远超过地上所有的民族。 | 1Now if thou wilt hear the voice of the Lord thy God, to do and keep all his commandments, which I command thee this day, the Lord thy God will make thee higher than all the nations that are on the earth. |
| 2如果你听从上主你的天主的话，下面这些祝福必临于你，来到你身上。 | 2And all these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee: yet so if thou hear his precepts, |
| 3你在城内必蒙受祝福，在乡下也必蒙受祝福。 | 3Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed in the field. |
| 4你身所生的，田地所产的，牲畜所出的，牛所生殖的，羊所产下的，都要蒙受祝福。 | 4Blessed shall be the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the droves of thy herds, and the folds of thy sheep. |
| 5你的筐篮，你的揉面盆，都要蒙受祝福。 | 5Blessed shall be thy barns and blessed thy stores. |
| 6你进来，蒙受祝福；你出去，也蒙受祝福。 | 6Blessed shalt thou be coming in and going out. |
| 7起来攻击你的仇敌，上主必使他们在你面前崩溃；他们由一路来攻击你，却分七路由你面前逃去。 | 7The Lord shall cause thy enemies, that rise up against thee, to fall down before thy face: one way shall they come out against thee, and seven ways shall they flee before thee. |
| 8上主决定对你的仓廪和在你着手进行的事上祝福你；在上主你的天主赐给你的土地上，必要祝福你。 | 8The Lord will send forth a blessing upon thy storehouses, and upon all the works of thy hands: and will bless thee in the land that thou shalt receive. |
| 9只要你谨守上主你的天主的诫命，遵行他的道路，上主必要照他誓许于你的，立你为他自己的圣民； | 9The Lord will raise thee up to be a holy people to himself, as he swore to thee: if thou keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways. |
| 10普世万民一见你属于上主的名下，必都怕你。 | 10And all the people of the earth shall see that the name of the Lord is invocated upon thee, and they shall fear thee. |
| 11在上主你的天主向你祖先起誓要赐给你的土地上，上主必使你满享幸福：儿女众多，牲畜繁殖，地产丰富。 | 11The Lord will make thee abound with all goods, with the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy cattle, with the fruit of thy land, which the Lord swore to thy fathers that he would give thee. |
| 12上主必为你大开天上的宝库，给你的田地降下时雨，祝福你手所做的一切；你要借给许多民族，而你却无须向人借贷。 | 12The Lord will open his excellent treasure, the heaven, that it may give rain in due season: and he will bless all the works of thy hands. And thou shalt lend to many nations, and shalt not borrow of any one. |
| 13上主必立你为首，而不做尾巴，你常是高高在上，而总不屈居在下，只要你听从我今天吩咐上主你的天主的诫命，并谨守遵行， | 13And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail: and thou shalt be always above, and not beneath: yet so if thou wilt hear the commandments of the Lord thy God which I command thee this day, and keep and do them, |
| 14不左右偏离我今天吩咐你们的一切话，去跟随事奉其他的神。 | 14And turn not away from them neither to the right hand, nor to the left, nor follow strange gods, nor worship them. |
| 15但是，如果你不听从上主你的天主的话，不谨守遵行我今天吩咐你的上主的一切诫命和法令，下面这些咒骂必要临于你，来到你身上。 | 15But if thou wilt not hear the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep and to do all his commandments and ceremonies, which I command thee this day, all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee. |
| 16你在城内必遭受咒骂，在乡下也必遭受咒骂。 | 16Cursed shalt thou be in the city, cursed in the field. |
| 17你的筐篮，你的揉面盆，都要遭受咒骂。 | 17Cursed shall be thy barn, and cursed thy stores. |
| 18你身所生的，田地所产的，牛所生殖的，羊所产下的，都要遭受咒骂。 | 18Cursed shall be the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, the herds of thy oxen, and the flocks of thy sheep. |
| 19你进来，必遭受咒骂； | 19Cursed shalt thou be coming in, and cursed going out. |
| 20你出去也必遭受咒骂。上主在你着手进行的一切事上，必使你遭受灾难、困扰和恐吓，直到你完全毁灭，迅速灭亡，因为你作恶，离弃了我。 | 20The Lord shall send upon thee famine and hunger, and a rebuke upon all the works which thou shalt do: until he consume and destroy thee quickly, for thy most wicked inventions, by which thou hast forsaken me. |
| 21上主必使你瘟疫缠身，直到将你由你要去占领的地上完全消灭。 | 21May the Lord set the pestilence upon thee, until he consume thee out of the land, which thou shalt go in to possess. |
| 22上主必用痨病、热病、疟疾、炎热、干旱、热风和霉烂打击你；这些灾殃必追击你，直到你灭亡。 | 22May the Lord afflict thee with miserable want, with the fever and with cold, with burning and with heat, and with corrupted air and with blasting, and pursue thee till thou perish. |
| 23你头上的天将变为铜，你下面的地将变为铁。 | 23Be the heaven, that is over thee, of brass: and the ground thou treadest on, of iron. |
| 24上主必使雨变成灰沙降在你的田地里，由天上降在你身上，直到你完全毁灭。 | 24The Lord give thee dust for rain upon thy land, and let ashes come down from heaven upon thee, till thou be consumed. |
| 25上主必使你在你仇敌面前崩溃；你由一路出击他们，却分七路由他们前逃去；你要成为普世万国惊骇的对象。 | 25The Lord make thee to fall down before thy enemies, one way mayst thou go out against them, and flee seven ways, and be scattered throughout all the kingdoms of the earth. |
| 26你的尸首必成为天空飞鸟，和地上走兽的食物；无人来将牠们吓走。 | 26And be thy carcass meat for all the Fowls of the air, and the beasts of the earth, and be there none to drive them away. |
| 27上主必用埃及的脓疮、痔漏、癣疥和红疹打击你，使你无法医治。 | 27The Lord strike thee with the ulcer of Egypt, and the part of thy body, by which the dung is cast out, with the scab and with the itch: so that thou canst not be healed. |
| 28上主必用癫狂、眼瞎和心乱打击你； | 28The Lord strike thee with madness and blindness and fury of mind. |
| 29在正午时，你要摸索有如在黑暗中摸索的瞎子；你的所作所为决不会顺利；你必日日受人压迫剥削，而无人援助。 | 29And mayst thou grope at midday as the blind is wont to grope in the dark, and not make straight thy ways. And mayst thou at all times suffer wrong, and be oppressed with violence, and mayst thou have no one to deliver thee. |
| 30你与一女子订婚，别人却来与她同寝；你建筑一座房屋，却不得住在里面；你栽植葡萄园，却得不到享用。 | 30Mayst thou take a wife, and another sleep with her. Mayst thou build a house, and not dwell therein. Mayest thou plant a vineyard and not gather the vintage thereof. |
| 31你的牛在你眼前被杀，你却不能吃牠的肉；你的驴由你眼前被人抢去，再不归还给你；你的羊群被交给你的敌人，却无人来援助你。 | 31May thy ox be slain before thee, and thou not eat thereof. May thy ass be taken away in thy sight, and not restored to thee. May thy sheep be given to thy enemies, and may there be none to help thee. |
| 32你的儿女被交给外方民族，你只有双眼张望，日日为他们焦虑，但你却无能为力。 | 32May thy sons and thy daughters be given to another people, thy eyes looking on, and languishing at the sight of them all the day, and may there be no strength in thy hand. |
| 33你田地的出产和你劳力之所得，却为你不认识的一个民族吃尽；你只有时时被人压迫蹂躏； | 33May a people which thou knowest not, eat the fruits of thy land, and all thy labours: and mayst thou always suffer oppression, and be crushed at all times. |
| 34你必要因你亲眼所见的事而变为疯狂。 | 34And be astonished at the terror of those things which thy eyes shall see: |
| 35上主必用恶疮打击你的膝和腿，由踵至顶，使你无法医治。 | 35May the Lord strike thee with a very sore ulcer in the knees and in the legs, and be thou incurable from the sole of the foot to the top of the head. |
| 36上主必将你和你所立的统治你的君王，送到你和你祖先不认识的一个民族那里去，在那里你要事奉别的神，即木石所制的神。 | 36The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king, whom thou shalt have appointed over thee, into a nation which thou and thy fathers know not: and there thou shalt serve strange gods, wood and stone. |
| 37在上主要送你去的各民族中，你必成为惊骇、嘲笑和讽刺的对象。 | 37And thou shalt be lost, as a proverb and a byword to all people, among whom the Lord shall bring thee in. |
| 38你在田间撒的种子虽然很多，但收获的却很少，因为蝗虫要来吃尽。 | 38Thou shalt cast much seed into the ground, and gather little: because the locusts shall consume all. |
| 39你虽然栽种修剪葡萄园，却没有酒喝，没有收成，因为都要为虫子吃尽。 | 39Thou shalt plant a vineyard, and dig it, and shalt not drink the wine, nor gather any thing thereof: because it shall be wasted with worms. |
| 40你虽然在全境栽有橄榄树，却没有油抹身，因为橄榄要遂结遂落。 | 40Thou shalt have olive trees in all thy borders, and shalt not be anointed with the oil: for the olives shall fall off and perish. |
| 41你虽然生子养女，但他们却不属于你，因为他们要被掳去。 | 41Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, and shalt not enjoy them: because they shall be led into captivity. |
| 42害虫要吃尽你所有的树木和土地的出产。 | 42The blast shall consume all the trees and the fruits of thy ground. |
| 43住在你中间的外方人不断发达兴旺，远在你以上，你反而日趋卑下。 | 43The stranger that liveth with thee in the land, shall rise up over thee, and shall be higher: and thou shalt go down, and be lower. |
| 44他要借给你，你却不能借给他；他要为首，你却要做尾巴。 | 44He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him. He shall be as the head, and thou shalt be the tail. |
| 45这一切咒骂必临于你，追击你，来到你身上，直到你全被消灭，因为你没有听从上主你的天主的话，没有遵守他吩咐你的诫命和法令。 | 45And all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue and overtake thee, till thou perish: because thou heardst not the voice of the Lord thy God, and didst not keep his commandments and ceremonies which he commanded thee. |
| 46这些咒骂对你和你的子孙，永远是一个徽号和征兆。 | 46And they shall be as signs and wonders on thee, and on thy seed for ever. |
| 47因为在财物富裕时，你没有诚心悦意地去事奉上主你的天主， | 47Because thou didst not serve the Lord thy God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things: |
| 48你必在饥渴，赤身露体，一无所有中，服侍上主派来攻击你的仇敌；他必将铁轭放在你的颈上，直到将你消灭。 | 48Thou shalt serve thy enemy, whom the Lord will send upon thee, in hunger, and thirst, and nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put an iron yoke upon thy neck, till he consume thee. |
| 49上主必由远方，由地极引来一个民族，像鹰一样扑袭你；这民族的语言，你不明了； | 49The Lord will bring upon thee a nation from afar, and from the uttermost ends of the earth, like an eagle that flyeth swiftly, whose tongue thou canst not understand, |
| 50这民族又铁面无情，不敬老，不恤幼； | 50A most insolent nation, that will shew no regard to the ancients, nor have pity on the infant, |
| 51他必吞食你家畜的幼雏，和田地的产物，直到你被消灭；必不给你留下什么谷、米、酒、油、牛犊或羔羊，直到将你完全毁灭。 | 51And will devour the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruits of thy land: until thou be destroyed, and will leave thee no wheat, nor wine, nor oil, nor herds of oxen, nor flocks of sheep: until he destroy thee. |
| 52他必将你围困在所有的城镇内，直到你全国内所依恃的高大坚固的城墙都被攻陷；当你被围困在上主你天主赐给你的全境各城镇内时， | 52And consume thee in all thy cities, and thy strong and high walls be brought down, wherein thou trustedst in all thy land. Thou shalt be besieged within thy gates in all thy land which the Lord thy God will give thee: |
| 53在你被仇敌围困的穷困中，你要吃你自身所生，即上主你天主赐给你的子女的肉。 | 53And thou shalt eat the fruit of thy womb, and the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God shall give thee, in the distress and extremity wherewith thy enemy shall oppress thee. |
| 54你中间最温柔娇嫩的男人，这时对自己的兄弟、怀中的妻子、尚存的子女，也必冷眼相看， | 54The man that is nice among you, and very delicate, shall envy his own brother, and his wife, that lieth in his bosom, |
| 55不愿将他所吃的子女的肉，分给他们任何人，因为在你的仇敌使你在各城镇中受围困陷于绝境时，已一无所剩。 | 55So that he will not give them of the flesh of his children, which he shall eat: because he hath nothing else in the siege and the want, wherewith thy enemies shall distress thee within all thy gates. |
| 56你中间最温柔娇嫩的女人，先前娇嫩温柔得连脚都不踏在地上，这时对自己怀中的丈夫、自己的子女、也要冷眼相看， | 56The tender and delicate woman, that could not go upon the ground, nor set down her foot for over much niceness and tenderness, will envy her husband who lieth in her bosom, the flesh of her son, and of her daughter, |
| 57暗中将她两腿间脱出的胞衣，和她所生的子女吃掉，因为在你的仇敌使你在各城镇中受围困，陷于穷困时，已一无所有。 | 57And the filth of the afterbirths, that come forth from between her thighs, and the children that are born the same hour. For they shall eat them secretly for the want of all things, in the siege and distress, wherewith thy enemy shall oppress thee within thy gates. |
| 58如果你不谨守遵行这书上所记的法律的一切条文，敬畏这光荣可畏的名号：上主你的天主， | 58If thou wilt not keep, and fulfill all the words of this law, that are written in this volume, and fear his glorious and terrible name: that is, The Lord thy God: |
| 59上主必使你和你的后裔遭受更奇特的灾害，大而且久的灾害，毒而且顽的疾病； | 59The Lord shall increase thy plagues, and the plagues of thy seed, plagues great and lasting, infirmities grievous and perpetual. |
| 60必使你所怕的各种埃及病灾发生在你身上，缠绕着你。 | 60And he shall bring back on thee all the afflictions of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of, and they shall stick fast to thee. |
| 61此外，在这法律书上所没有记载的一切疾病和灾害，上主也要引来降在你身上，直到将你完全消灭。 | 61Moreover the Lord will bring upon thee all the diseases, and plagues, that are not written in the volume of this law till he consume thee: |
| 62你们以前虽然多如天上的繁星，你们所留下的，却寥寥无几，因为你没有听从上主你天主的话。 | 62And you shall remain few in number, who before were as the stars of heaven for multitude, because thou heardst not the voice of the Lord thy God. |
| 63有如上主先前怎样喜欢你们获得幸福，使你们人数众多，将来也要怎样喜欢你们衰落，使你们灭亡，使你们由你要去占领的地上尽被铲除。 | 63And as the Lord rejoiced upon you before doing good to you, and multiplying you: so he shall rejoice destroying and bringing you to nought, so that you shall be taken away from the land which thou shalt go in to possess. |
| 64上主要将你分散在大地两极间所有人民中，你要在那里事奉你和你祖先所不认识的外神，即木石之神； | 64The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof: and there thou shalt serve strange gods, which both thou art ignorant of and thy fathers, wood and stone. |
| 65而且在这些民族中，你总得不到安宁，也找不到一块歇脚的地方；上主在那里必使你心情烦乱，眼目憔悴，精神颓丧。 | 65Neither shalt thou be quiet, even in those nations, nor shall there be any rest for the sole of thy foot. For the Lord will give thee a fearful heart, and languishing eyes, and a soul consumed with pensiveness: |
| 66你未来的生活必提心吊胆，日夜惊惶；生命毫无保障。 | 66And thy life shall be as it were hanging before thee. Thou shalt fear night and day, neither shalt thou trust thy life. |
| 67因你心情恐慌，因你眼见的景象，早晨你要说：『巴不得现在是晚上！』到了晚上你又要说：『巴不得现在是早晨！』 | 67In the morning thou shalt say: Who will grant me evening? and at evening: Who will grant me morning? for the fearfulness of thy heart, wherewith thou shalt be terrified, and for those things which thou shalt see with thy eyes. |
| 68上主要用船将你送回埃及，走我曾告诉你，你不会再见的那条路；在那里你们虽自愿将自己卖给你的仇敌为奴为婢，却无人肯买。」 | 68The Lord shall bring thee again with ships into Egypt, by the way whereof he said to thee that thou shouldst see it no more. There shalt thou be set to sale to thy enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. |
| 69这是上主在曷勒布山与以色列子民订立的盟约以外，在摩阿布地方吩咐梅瑟同以色列子民订立盟约的言辞。 | 69 |
