| 1梅瑟由摩阿布旷野上了乃波山，上到耶里哥对面的丕斯加峰，上主就将全地指给他看：即由基肋阿得直到丹， | 1Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab upon mount Nebo, to the top of Phasga over against Jericho: and the Lord shewed him all the land of Galaad as far as Dan. |
| 2纳斐塔里和厄弗辣因及默纳协全地，直达西海的犹大全境， | 2And all Nephtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasses, and all the land of Juda unto the furthermost sea, |
| 3乃革布和棕榈城的耶里哥山谷盆地，直到左哈尔。 | 3And the south part, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho the city of palm trees as far as Segor. |
| 4上主对他说：「这就是我对亚巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯誓许说我要给你后裔的土地。我让你亲眼看见，但你不能过去。」 | 4And the Lord said to him: This is the land, for which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying: I will give it to thy seed. Thou hast seen it with thy eyes, and shalt not pass over to it. |
| 5上主的仆人梅瑟遂死在那里，按上主所预定的，死在摩阿布地。 | 5And Moses the servant of the Lord died there, in the land of Moab, by the commandment of the Lord: |
| 6上主将他葬在摩阿布地，面对贝特培敖尔的一个山谷内；直到今日没有人知道埋葬他的地方。 | 6And he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab over against Phogor: and no man hath known of his sepulchre until this present day. |
| 7梅瑟死时，已一百二十岁；他的眼睛未花，精力也未衰退。 | 7Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, neither were his teeth moved. |
| 8以色列子民在摩阿布旷野哀悼了梅瑟三十日。为梅瑟举哀的日期满了， | 8And the children of Israel mourned for him in the plains of Moab thirty days: and the days of their mourning in which they mourned for Moses were ended. |
| 9农的儿子若苏厄，因梅瑟曾按手在他身上，充满了智慧之神；为此，以色列子民都听从他，全照上主向梅瑟所吩咐的去行。 | 9And Josue the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, because Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the children of Israel obeyed him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 10以后在以色列中，再没有兴起一位像梅瑟一样的先知，与上主面对面地来往； | 10And there arose no more a prophet in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, |
| 11至于上主派他在埃及地，向法郎，和他的一切臣仆，并向他全地所行的一切神蹟和奇蹟， | 11In all the signs and wonders, which he sent by him, to do in the land of Egypt to Pharao, and to all his servants, and to his whole land, |
| 12以及他在全以色列眼前所行的一切大能作为，和一切令人畏惧的大事，也没有人能与他相比。 | 12And all the mighty hand, and great miracles, which Moses did before all Israel. |
