出谷纪	Exodus
¹天主训示以下这一切话说：	¹And the Lord spoke all these words:
²「我是上主你的天主，是我领你出了埃及地、奴隶之所。	²I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
³除我之外，你不可有别的神。	³Thou shalt not have strange gods before me.
⁴不可为你制造任何仿佛天上、或地上、或地下水中之物的雕像。	⁴Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth.
⁵不可叩拜这些像，也不可敬奉，因为我，上主，你的天主是忌邪的天主；	⁵Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them: I am the Lord thy God, mighty, jealous, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me:
⁶凡恼恨我的，我要追讨他们的罪，从父亲直到儿子，甚至三代四代的子孙。凡爱慕我和遵守我诫命的，我要对他们施仁慈，直到他们的千代子孙。	⁶And shewing mercy unto thousands to them that love me, and keep my commandments.
⁷不可妄呼上主你天主的名；因为凡妄呼他名的人，上主决不让他们免受惩罚。	⁷Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that shall take the name of the Lord his God in vain.
⁸应记住安息日，守为圣日。	⁸Remember that thou keep holy the sabbath day.
⁹六天应该劳作，作你一切的事；	⁹Six days shalt thou labour, and shalt do all thy works.
¹⁰但第七天是为恭敬上主你的天主当守的安息日；你自己、连你的儿女、你的仆婢、你的牲口，以及在你中间居住的外方人，都不可作任何工作。	¹⁰But on the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work on it, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy beast, nor the stranger that is within thy gates.
¹¹因为上主在六天内造了天地、海洋和其中一切，但第七天休息了，因此上主祝福了安息日，也定为圣日。	¹¹For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them, and rested on the seventh day: therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it.
¹²应孝敬你的父亲和你的母亲，好使你在上主你的天主赐给你的地方，延年益寿。	¹²Honour thy father and thy mother, that thou mayest be longlived upon the land which the Lord thy God will give thee.
¹³不可杀人。	¹³Thou shalt not kill.
¹⁴不可奸淫。	¹⁴Thou shalt not commit adultery.
¹⁵不可偷盗。	¹⁵Thou shalt not steal.
¹⁶不可作假见证，害你的近人。	¹⁶Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
¹⁷不可贪你近人的房舍。不可贪恋你近人的妻子、仆人、婢女、牛驴及你近人的一切。	¹⁷Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house: neither shalt thou desire his wife, nor his servant, nor his handmaid, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is his.
¹⁸众百姓看见打雷、打闪、吹角、冒烟的山，都战兢害怕，远远站着，	¹⁸And all the people saw the voices and the flames, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mount smoking: and being terrified and struck with fear, they stood afar off,
¹⁹对梅瑟说：「你同我们说话罢！我们定要听从，不要天主同我们说话，免得我们死亡。」	¹⁹Saying to Moses: Speak thou to us, and we will hear: let not the Lord speak to us, lest we die.
²⁰梅瑟回答百姓说：「不要害怕！因为天主降临是为试探你们，使你们在他面前常怀敬畏之情，不致犯罪。」	²⁰And Moses said to the people: Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that the dread of him might be in you, and you should not sin.
²¹百姓远远站着，梅瑟却走近天主所在的浓云中。	²¹And the people stood afar off. But Moses went to the dark cloud wherein God was.
²²上主向梅瑟说：「你这样训示以色列子民说：你们亲自见过我从天上同你们说了话。	²²And the Lord said to Moses: Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel: You have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven.
²³为此，你们决不可制造金银神像，同我放在一起；你们万不可做。	²³You shall not make gods of silver, nor shall you make to yourselves gods of gold.
²⁴你应用土为我筑一祭坛，在上面祭献你的全燔祭与和平祭，以及你的牛羊；凡在我叫你称颂我名的地方，我必到你那里祝福你。	²⁴You shall make an altar of earth unto me, and you shall offer upon it your holocausts and peace offerings, your sheep and oxen, in every place where the memory of my name shall be: I will come to thee, and will bless thee.
²⁵你若用石头为我筑一祭坛，不可用打成方块的石头建筑，因为在石头上动用了你的刀凿，就把石头亵渎了。	²⁵And if thou make an altar of stone unto me, thou shalt not build it of hewn stones: for if thou lift up a tool upon it, it shall be defiled.
²⁶你不可沿着台阶登我的祭坛，免得暴露你的裸体。	²⁶Thou shalt not go up by steps unto my altar, lest thy nakedness be discovered.
