| 1十年十月十二日，上主的话传给我说： | 1In the tenth year, the tenth month, the eleventh day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 2「人子，你面向埃及王法郎，讲预言攻击他和埃及全国。 | 2Son of man, set thy face against Pharao king of Egypt: and thou shalt prophesy of him, and of all Egypt: |
| 3你应发言说：吾主上主这样说：埃及王法郎，你这卧在河中的大鳄鱼！看，我要攻击你；你曾说过：『河是我的，是我造成的』。 | 3Speak, and say: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I come against thee, Pharao king of Egypt, thou great dragon that liest in the midst of thy rivers, and sayest: The river is mine, and I made myself. |
| 4但是我要用钩子钩住你的鳃，使你河中的鱼都附在你的鳞上，将你和你河中所有附在你鳞上的鱼，从河中拉上来； | 4But I will put a bridle in thy jaws: and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick to thy scales: and I will draw thee out of the midst of thy rivers, and all thy fish shall stick to thy scales. |
| 5将你和你河中的鱼抛在旷野；你要倒毙在地面上，而无人收殓，也无人掩埋；我要把你交给地上的走兽和空中的飞鸟作食物： | 5And I will cast thee forth into the desert, and all the fish of thy river: thou shalt fall upon the face of the earth, thou shalt not be taken up, nor gathered together: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the earth, and to the fowls of the air. |
| 6如此，所有埃及的居民便承认我是上主，因为你曾作过支持以色列家族的芦苇， | 6And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the Lord: because thou hast been a staff of a reed to the house of Israel. |
| 7当他们手中握着你时，你就破裂了，刺伤了他们的手掌；他们依靠你时，你就折断了，使他们的腰颤栗； | 7When they took hold of thee with the hand thou didst break, and rent all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brokest, and weakenest all their loins. |
| 8为此，吾主上主这样说：看，我要使刀临于你，消灭你境内的人和兽， | 8Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will bring the sword upon thee: and cut off man and beast out of thee. |
| 9埃及地将成为荒野沙漠：这样，他们便承认我是上主；因为你说过：『河是我的，是我造成的』； | 9And the land of Egypt shall become a desert, and a wilderness: and they shall know that I am the Lord: because thou hast said: The river is mine, and I made it. |
| 10为此，看，我要攻击你和你的河，我要使埃及地，由米革多耳到色威乃，直到雇士边界，都成为荒野和沙漠。 | 10Therefore, behold I come against thee, and thy rivers: and I will make the land of Egypt utterly desolate, and wasted by the sword, from the tower of Syene, even to the borders of Ethiopia. |
| 11人足不再经过那里，兽蹄也不从那里踏过；无人居住凡四十年之久。 | 11The foot of man shall not pass through it, neither shall the foot of beasts go through it: nor shall it be inhabited during forty years. |
| 12我要使埃及地成为荒芜地中最荒芜的，使她的城变为荒废城中最荒废的，凡四十年之久；我更要把埃及人分散外邦，散布在各地。 | 12And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the lands that are desolate, and the cities thereof in the midst of the cities that are destroyed, and they shall be desolate for forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. |
| 13因为吾主上主这样说：过了四十年，我必从各民族中把四散的埃及人聚集起来， | 13For thus saith the Lord God: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the people among whom they had been scattered. |
| 14我要转变埃及人的命运，领他们回到他们出生的帕特洛斯地方，他们要在那里成立一个小国。 | 14And I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will place them in the land of Phatures, in the land of their nativity, and they shall be there a low kingdom: |
| 15在万国中她是最小的，再也不得高踞万民之上；我还要减少他们的人数，使她不再统治列国， | 15It shall be the lowest among other kingdoms, and it shall no more be exalted over the nations, and I will diminish them that they shall rule no more over the nations. |
| 16也不再做以色列家族的靠山，却常使以色列记起求救于他们的罪行：如此，他们必承认我是上主。」 | 16And they shall be no more a confidence to the house of Israel, teaching iniquity, that they may flee, and follow them: and they shall know that I am the Lord God. |
| 17二十七年一月一日，上主的话传给我说： | 17And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first of the month: that the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 18「人子，巴比伦王拿步高为攻打提洛，使自己的军队服了重役，他们的头都秃了，肩也磨破了；但是他和他的军队为攻打提洛所服的重役，从提洛却没有得到报酬； | 18Son of man, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon hath made his army to undergo hard service against Tyre: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: and there hath been no reward given him, nor his army for Tyre, for the service that he rendered me against it. |
| 19为此吾主上主这样说：看，我必将埃及地交给巴比伦王拿步高，他要运走她的财富，夺去她的掠物，抢去她的战利品，作为自己军队的报酬。 | 19Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will set Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon in the land of Egypt: and he shall take her multitude, and take the booty thereof for a prey, and rifle the spoils thereof: and it shall be wages for his army. |
| 20我将埃及地赐给他，作为他服役的报酬，因为他们为我而工作──吾主上主的断语── | 20And for the service that he hath done me against it: I have given him the land of Egypt, because he hath laboured for me, saith the Lord God. |
| 21在那一天我要给以色列兴起一位大能者，我要使你在他们中间开口：如此，他们必承认我是上主。」 | 21In that day a horn shall bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give thee an open mouth in the midst of them: and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
