| 1上主的话传给我说： | 1And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 2「人子，你要面向色依尔山，讲预言攻斥它， | 2Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy concerning it, and say to it: |
| 3对它说：吾主上主这样说：色依尔山啊！看，我要攻击你，伸手打击你，使你变成沙漠和荒野。 | 3Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, mount Seir, and I will stretch forth my hand upon thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste. |
| 4我要使你的城市变成废墟，你将成为沙漠：如此，你便承认我是上主。 | 4I will destroy thy cities, and thou shalt be desolate: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. |
| 5因为在以色列子民遭难时，在他们罪恶满盈时，你怀着永不忘的仇恨将他们交于刀剑： | 5Because thou hast been an everlasting enemy, and hast shut up the children of Israel in the hands of the sword in the time of their affliction, in the time of their last iniquity. |
| 6为此，我指着我的生命起誓──吾主上主的断语──你既仇恨了血，血也必迫害你。 | 6Therefore as I live, saith the Lord God, I will deliver thee up to blood, and blood shall pursue thee: and whereas thou hast hated blood, blood shall pursue thee. |
| 7我必使色依尔山成为沙漠和荒野，由其中灭绝来往经过的人。 | 7And I will make mount Seir waste and desolate: and I will take away from it him that goeth and him that returneth. |
| 8我要使你的群山、丘陵、山谷和溪涧，堆满伤亡的人，使刀剑伤亡的人横卧其中。 | 8And I will fill his mountains with his men that are slain: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in thy torrents they shall fall that are slain with the sword. |
| 9我要使你永久变为荒芜，你的城邑再没有人居住：如此，你们便承认我是上主。 | 9I will make thee everlasting desolations, and thy cities shall not be inhabited: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord God. |
| 10因为你说过：这两个民族，这两个地域应属于我，虽然雅威住在那里，我还要去占领； | 10Because thou hast said: The two nations, and the two lands shall be mine, and I will possess them by inheritance: whereas the Lord was there. |
| 11为此，我指着我的生命起誓，──吾主上主的断语──就如你怎样怀着仇恨对待他们，同样我也必以怒火和妒恨来对待你；当我惩罚你时，我叫你知道我在他们中， | 11Therefore as I live, saith the Lord God, I will do according to thy wrath, and according to thy envy, which thou hast exercised in hatred to them: and I will be made known by them, when I shall have judged thee. |
| 12并要你知道，我上主听见了你向以色列的群山所讲的一切诅咒的话，说：它们已荒芜了，已交给我们享用。 | 12And thou shalt know that I the Lord have heard all thy reproaches, that thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying: They are desolate, they are given to us to consume. |
| 13当你们开口说大话攻斥我，说出许多凌辱我的话时，我都听见了。 | 13And you rose up against me with your mouth, and have derogated from me by your words: I have heard them. |
| 14吾主上主这样说：当全地欢跃时，我要使你荒芜， | 14Thus saith the Lord God: When the whole earth shall rejoice, I will make thee a wilderness. |
| 15就如在以色列家的产业荒芜时，你曾喜乐；同样，我也要这样对待你；色依尔山必变成荒野，全厄东必被消灭：如此，人必承认我是上主。」 | 15As thou hast rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was laid waste, so will I do to thee: thou shalt be laid waste, O mount Seir, and all Idumea: and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
