¹亚巴郎九十九岁时，上主显现给他，对他说：「我是全能的天主，你当在我面前行走，作个成全的人。	¹And after he began to be ninety and nine years old, the Lord appeared to him: and said unto him: I am the Almighty God: walk before me, and be perfect.
²我要与你立约，使你极其繁盛。」	²And I will make my covenant between me and thee: and I will multiply thee exceedingly.
³亚巴郎遂俯伏在地；天主又对他说：	³Abram fell flat on his face.
⁴「看，是我与你立约：你要成为万民之父；	⁴And God said to him: I AM, and my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
⁵以后，你不再叫做亚巴郎，要叫做亚巴辣罕，因为我已立定你为万民之父，	⁵Neither shall thy name be called any more Abram: but thou shalt be called Abraham: because I have made thee a father of many nations.
⁶使你极其繁衍，成为一大民族，君王要由你而出。	⁶And I will make thee increase, exceedingly, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
⁷我要在我与你和你历代后裔之间，订立我的约，当作永久的约，就是我要做你和你后裔的天主。	⁷And I will establish my covenant between me and thee, and between thy seed after thee in their generations, by a perpetual covenant: to be a God to thee, and to thy seed after thee.
⁸我必将你现今侨居之地，即客纳罕全地，赐给你和你的后裔做永久的产业；我要作他们的天主。」	⁸And I will give to thee, and to thy seed, the land of thy sojournment, all the land of Chanaan for a perpetual possession, and I will be their God.
⁹天主又对亚巴郎说：「你和你的后裔，世世代代应遵守我的约。	⁹Again God said to Abraham: And thou therefore shalt keep my covenant, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
¹⁰这就是你们应遵守的，在我与你们以及你的后裔之间所立的约：你们中所有的男子都应受割损。	¹⁰This is my covenant which you shall observe, between me and you, and thy seed after thee: All the male kind of you shall be circumcised:
¹¹你们都应割去肉体上的包皮，作为我与你们之间的盟约的标记。	¹¹And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, that it may be for a sign of the covenant between me and you.
¹²你们中世世代代所有的男子，在生后八日都应受割损；连家中生的，或是用钱买来而不属你种族的外方人，都应受割损。	¹²An infant of eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations: he that is born in the house, as well as the bought servant shall be circumcised, and whosoever is not of your stock:
¹³凡在你家中生的，和你用钱买来的奴仆，都该受割损。这样，我的约刻在你们肉体上作为永久的约。	¹³And my covenant shall be in your flesh for a perpetual covenant.
¹⁴凡未割去包皮，未受割损的男子，应由民间铲除；因他违犯了我的约。」	¹⁴The male, whose flesh of his foreskin shall not be circumcised, that soul shall be destroyed out of his people: because he hath broken my covenant.
¹⁵天主又对亚巴郎说：「你的妻子撒辣依，你不要再叫她撒辣依，而要叫她撒辣。	¹⁵God said also to Abraham: Sarai thy wife thou shalt not call Sarai, but Sara.
¹⁶我必要祝福她，使她也给你生个儿子。我要祝福她，使她成为一大民族，人民的君王要由她而生。」	¹⁶And I will bless her, and of her I will give thee a son, whom I will bless, and he shall become nations, and kings of people shall spring from him.
¹⁷亚巴郎遂俯伏在地笑起来，心想：「百岁的人还能生子吗？撒辣已九十岁，还能生子？」	¹⁷Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, saying in his heart: Shall a son, thinkest thou, be born to him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sara that is ninety years old bring forth?
¹⁸亚巴郎对天主说：「只望依市玛耳在你面前生存就够了！」	¹⁸And he said to God: O that Ismael may live before thee.
¹⁹天主说：「你的妻子撒辣确要给你生个儿子，你要给他起名叫依撒格；我要与他和他的后裔，订立我的约当作永久的约。	¹⁹And God said to Abraham: Sara thy wife shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name Isaac, and I will establish my covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, and with his seed after him.
²⁰至于依市玛耳，我也听从你；我要祝福他，使他繁衍，极其昌盛。他要生十二个族长，我要使他成为一大民族。	²⁰And as for Ismael I have also heard thee. Behold, I will bless him, and increase, and multiply him exceedingly: he shall beget twelve chiefs, and I will make him a great nation.
²¹但是我的约，我要与明年此时撒辣给你生的依撒格订立。」	²¹But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sara shall bring forth to thee at this time in the next year.
²²天主同亚巴郎说完话，就离开他上升去了。	²²And when he had left off speaking with him, God went up from Abraham.
²³当天，亚巴郎就照天主所吩咐的，召集他的儿子依市玛耳以及凡家中生的，和用钱买来的奴仆，即自己家中的一切男子，割去了他们肉体上的包皮。	²³And Abraham took Ismael his son, and all that were born in his house: and all whom he had bought, every male among the men of his house: and he circumcised the flesh of their foreskin forthwith the very same day, as God had commanded him.
²⁴亚巴郎受割损时，已九十九岁；	²⁴Abraham was ninety and nine years old, when he circumcised the flesh of his foreskin.
²⁵他的儿子，依市玛耳受割损时，是十三岁。	²⁵And Ismael his son was full thirteen years old at the time of his circumcision.
²⁶亚巴郎和他的儿子依市玛耳在同日上受了割损。	²⁶The selfsame day was Abraham circumcised and Ismael his son.
²⁷他家中所有的男人，不论是家中生的，或是由外方人那里用钱买来的奴仆，都与他一同受了割损。	²⁷And all the men of his house, as well they that were born in his house, as the bought servants and strangers were circumcised with him.
