创世纪	Genesis
¹上主对诺厄说：「你和你全家进入方舟，因为在这一世代，我看只有你在我面前正义。	¹And the Lord said to him: Go in thou and all thy house into the ark: for thee I have seen just before me in this generation.
²由一切洁净牲畜中，各取公母七对；由那些不洁净的牲畜中，各取公母一对；	²Of all clean beasts take seven and seven, the male and the female.
³由天空的飞鸟中，也各取公母七对；好在全地面上传种。	³But of the beasts that are unclean two and two, the male and the female. Of the fowls also of the air seven and seven, the male and the female: that seed may be saved upon the face of the whole earth.
⁴因为还有七天，我要在地上降雨四十天四十夜，消灭我在地面上所造的一切生物。」	⁴For yet a while, and after seven days, I will rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will destroy every substance that I have made, from the face of the earth.
⁵诺厄全照上主吩咐他的做了。	⁵And Noe did all things which the Lord had commanded him.
⁶当洪水在地上氾滥时，诺厄已六百岁。	⁶And he was six hundred years old, when the waters of the flood overflowed the earth.
⁷诺厄和他的儿子，他的妻子和他的儿媳，同他进了方舟，为躲避洪水。	⁷And Noe went in and his sons, his wife and the wives of his sons with him into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
⁸洁净的牲畜和不洁净的牲畜，飞鸟和各种在地上爬行的动物，	⁸And of beasts clean and unclean, and of fowls, and of every thing that moveth upon the earth,
⁹一对一对地同诺厄进了方舟；都是一公一母，照天主对他所吩咐的。	⁹Two and two went in to Noe into the ark, male and female, as the Lord had commanded Noe.
¹⁰七天一过，洪水就在地上氾滥。	¹⁰And after the seven days were passed, the waters of the flood overflowed the earth.
¹¹诺厄六百岁那一年，二月十七日那天，所有深渊的泉水都冒出，天上的水闸都开放了；	¹¹In the six hundredth year of the life of Noe, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the flood gates of heaven were opened:
¹²大雨在地上下了四十天四十夜。	¹²And the rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
¹³正在这一天，诺厄和他的儿子闪、含、耶斐特，他的妻子和他的三个儿媳，一同进了方舟。	¹³In the selfsame day Noe, and Sem, and Cham, and Japheth his sons: his wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, went into the ark:
¹⁴他们八口和所有的野兽、各种牲畜、各种在地上爬行的爬虫、各种飞禽，	¹⁴They and every beast according to its kind, and all the cattle in their kind, and every thing that moveth upon the earth according to its kind, and every fowl according to its kind, all birds, and all that fly,
¹⁵一切有生气有血肉的，都一对一对地同诺厄进了方舟。	¹⁵Went in to Noe into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein was the breath of life.
¹⁶凡有血肉的，都是一公一母地进了方舟，如天主对诺厄所吩咐的。随后上主关了门。	¹⁶And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in on the outside.
¹⁷洪水在地上氾滥了四十天；水不断增涨，浮起了方舟，方舟遂由地面上升起。	¹⁷And the flood was forty days upon the earth, and the waters increased, and lifted up the ark on high from the earth.
¹⁸洪水汹涌，在地上猛涨，方舟漂浮在水面上。	¹⁸For they overflowed exceedingly: and filled all on the face of the earth: and the ark was carried upon the waters.
¹⁹洪水在地上一再猛涨，天下所有的高山也都没了顶；	¹⁹And the waters prevailed beyond measure upon the earth: and all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered.
²⁰洪水高出淹没的群山十有五肘。	²⁰The water was fifteen cubits higher than the mountains which it covered.
²¹凡地上行动而有血肉的生物：飞禽、牲畜、野兽，在地上爬行的爬虫，以及所有的人全灭亡了；	²¹And all flesh was destroyed that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beasts, and of all creeping things that creep upon the earth: and all men.
²²凡在旱地上以鼻呼吸的生灵都死了。	²²And all things wherein there is the breath of life on the earth, died.
²³这样，天主消灭了在地面上的一切生物，由人以至于牲畜、爬虫以及天空中的飞鸟，这一切都由地上消灭了，只剩下诺厄和同他在方舟内的人物。	²³And he destroyed all the substance that was upon the earth, from man even to beast, and the creeping things and fowls of the air: and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noe only remained, and they that were with him in the ark.
²⁴洪水在地上氾滥了一百五十天。	²⁴And the waters prevailed upon the earth a hundred and fifty days.
