| 1天主祝福诺厄和他的儿子们说：「你们要滋生繁殖，充满大地。 | 1And God blessed Noe and his sons. And he said to them: Increase and multiply, and fill the earth. |
| 2地上的各种野兽，天空的各种飞鸟，地上的各种爬虫和水中的各种游鱼，都要对你们表示惊恐畏惧：这一切都已交在你们手中。 | 2And let the fear and dread of you be upon all the beasts of the earth, and upon all the fowls of the air, and all that move upon the earth: all the fishes of the sea are delivered into your hand. |
| 3凡有生命的动物，都可作你们的食物；我将这一切赐给你们，有如以前赐给你们蔬菜一样； | 3And every thing that moveth and liveth shall be meat for you: even as the green herbs have I delivered them all to you: |
| 4凡有生命，带血的肉，你们不可吃； | 4Saving that flesh with blood you shall not eat. |
| 5并且，我要追讨害你们生命的血债：向一切野兽追讨，向人，向为弟兄的人，追讨人命。 | 5For I will require the blood of your lives at the hand of every beast, and at the hand of man, at the hand of every man, and of his brother, will I require the life of man. |
| 6凡流人血的，他的血也要为人所流，因为人是照天主的肖像造的。 | 6Whosoever shall shed man's blood, his blood shall be shed: for man was made to the image of God. |
| 7你们要生育繁殖，在地上滋生繁衍。」 | 7But increase you and multiply, and go upon the earth, and fill it. |
| 8天主对诺厄和他的儿子们说： | 8Thus also said God to Noe, and to his sons with him, |
| 9「看，我现在与你们和你们未来的后裔立约， | 9Behold I will establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you: |
| 10并与同你们在一起的一切生物：飞鸟、牲畜和一切地上野兽，即凡由方舟出来的一切地上生物立约。 | 10And with every living soul that is with you, as well in all birds as in cattle and beasts of the earth, that are come forth out of the ark, and in all the beasts of the earth. |
| 11我与你们立约：凡有血肉的，以后决不再受洪水湮灭，再没有洪水来毁灭大地。」 | 11I will establish my covenant with you, and all flesh shall be no more destroyed with the waters of a flood, neither shall there be from henceforth a flood to waste the earth. |
| 12天主说：「这是我在我与你们以及同你们在一起的一切生物之间，立约的永远标记： | 12And God said: This is the sign of the covenant which I give between me and you, and to every living soul that is with you, for perpetual generations. |
| 13我把虹霓放在云间，作我与大地之间立约的标记。 | 13I will set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be the sign of a covenant between me, and between the earth. |
| 14几时我兴云遮盖大地，云中要出现虹霓， | 14And when I shall cover the sky with clouds, my bow shall appear in the clouds: |
| 15那时我便想起我与你们以及各种属血肉的生物之间所立的盟约：这样水就不会再成为洪水，毁灭一切血肉的生物。 | 15And I will remember my covenant with you, and with every living soul that beareth flesh: and there shall no more be waters of a flood to destroy all flesh. |
| 16几时虹霓在云间出现，我一看见，就想起在天主与地上各种属血肉的生物之间所立的永远盟约。」 | 16And the bow shall be in the clouds, and I shall see it, and shall remember the everlasting covenant, that was made between God and every living soul of all flesh which is upon the earth. |
| 17天主对诺厄说：「这就是我在我与地上一切有血肉的生物之间，所立的盟约的标记。」 | 17And God said to Noe: This shall be the sign of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh upon the earth. |
| 18诺厄的儿子由方舟出来的，有闪、含、和耶斐特。含是客纳罕的父亲。 | 18And the sons of Noe who came out of the ark, were Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and Cham is the father of Chanaan. |
| 19这三人是诺厄的儿子；人类就由这三人分布天下。 | 19These three are the sons of Noe: and from these was all mankind spread over the whole earth. |
| 20诺厄原是农夫，遂开始种植葡萄园。 | 20And Noe, a husbandman, began to till the ground, and planted a vineyard. |
| 21一天他喝酒喝醉了，就在自己的帐幕内脱去了衣服。 | 21And drinking of the wine was made drunk, and was uncovered in his tent. |
| 22客纳罕的父亲含看见了父亲赤身露体，遂去告诉外面的两个兄弟。 | 22Which when Cham the father of Chanaan had seen, to wit, that his father's nakedness was uncovered, he told it to his two brethren without. |
| 23闪和耶斐特二人于是拿了件外衣，搭在肩上，倒退着走进去，盖上父亲的裸体。他们的脸背着，没有看见父亲的裸体。 | 23But Sem and Japheth put a cloak upon their shoulders, and going backward, covered the nakedness of their father: and their faces were turned away, and they saw not their father's nakedness. |
| 24诺厄醒了后，知道了小儿对他作的事， | 24And Noe awaking from the wine, when he had learned what his younger son had done to him, |
| 25就说：「客纳罕是可咒骂的，给兄弟当最下贱的奴隶。」 | 25He said: Cursed be Chanaan, a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. |
| 26又说：「上主，闪的天主，应受赞美，客纳罕应作他的奴隶。 | 26And he said: Blessed be the Lord God of Sem, be Chanaan his servant. |
| 27愿天主扩展耶斐特，使他住在闪的帐幕内；客纳罕应作他的奴隶。」 | 27May God enlarge Japheth, and may he dwell in the tents of Sem, and Chanaan be his servant. |
| 28洪水以后，诺厄又活了三百五十年。 | 28And Noe lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years: |
| 29诺厄共活了九百五十岁死了。 | 29And all his days were in the whole nine hundred and fifty years: and he died. |
