| 1阿摩兹的儿子依撒意亚关于犹大和耶路撒冷所见的事情： | 1The word that Isaias the son of Amos saw, concerning Juda and Jerusalem. |
| 2到末日，上主的圣殿山必要矗立在群山之上，超乎一切山岳，万民都要向它涌来。 | 2And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. |
| 3将有许多民族前去，说：「来！我们攀登上主的圣山，往雅各伯天主的殿里去！他必指示我们他的道路，教给我们循行他的途径。因为法律将出自熙雍，上主的话将出自耶路撒冷。」 | 3And many people shall go, and say: Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall come forth from Sion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. |
| 4他将统治万邦，治理众民；致使众人都把自己的刀剑铸成锄头，将自己的枪矛制成镰刀；民族与民族不再持刀相向，人也不再学习战斗。 | 4And he shall judge the Gentiles, and rebuke many people: and they shall turn their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into sickles: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they be exercised any more to war. |
| 5雅各伯家！来让我们在上主的光明中行走罢！ | 5O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord. |
| 6是的！上主抛弃了自己的百姓──雅各伯家族──因为他们充满了术士和占卜者，有如培肋舍特人一样，且与异民握手言欢。 | 6For thou hast cast off thy people, the house of Jacob: because they are filled as in times past, and have had soothsayers as the Philistines, and have adhered to strange children. |
| 7他们的地域充满了金银，财宝不可估计；他们的地域充满了马匹，战车不可胜数。 | 7Their land is filled with silver and gold: and there is no end of their treasures. |
| 8遍地都是偶像，人人崇拜自己手做的东西，崇拜自己手指的造像。 | 8And their land is filled with horses: and their chariots are innumerable. Their land also is full of idols: they have adored the work of their own hands, which their own fingers have made. |
| 9如此，人自甘卑下，自甘堕落，对他们决无救援。 | 9And man hath bowed himself down, and man hath been debased: therefore forgive them not. |
| 10当上主起来震撼大地时，你要潜入巖穴，躲在土中，为逃避上主的威吓和他显赫的光辉。 | 10Enter thou into the rock, and hide thee in the pit from the face of the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of his majesty. |
| 11目空一切的人必被抑制，性情高傲的人必被屈服：那一日，惟有上主受尊崇。 | 11The lofty eyes of man are humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be made to stoop: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. |
| 12因为万军的上主必有一日，要攻击所有骄矜自夸和自高自大的人，并加以抑制； | 12Because the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and highminded, and upon every one that is arrogant, and he shall be humbled. |
| 13必要攻击黎巴嫩的一切高大香柏树和巴商的一切樟树； | 13And upon all the tall and lofty cedars of Libanus, and upon all the oaks of Basan. |
| 14必要攻击一切高山和耸峙的山岭， | 14And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the elevated hills. |
| 15一切高塔和一切坚固的城墙， | 15And upon every high tower, and every fenced wall. |
| 16塔尔史士的一切船只和一切美观的画舫。 | 16And upon all the ships of Tharsis, and upon all that is fair to behold. |
| 17人的傲慢必被屈服，人的骄矜必被抑制：那一日，惟有上主受尊崇。 | 17And the loftiness of men shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be humbled, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. |
| 18上主必要完全毁灭偶像。 | 18And idols shall be utterly destroyed. |
| 19当上主起来震撼大地时，你们应潜入巖洞，躲在土穴中，为逃避上主的威吓和他显赫的光辉。 | 19And they shall go into the holes of rocks, and into the caves of the earth from the face of the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall rise up to strike the earth. |
| 20那一日，人必将为自己制造来崇拜的银像和金像，抛给鼹鼠和蝙蝠， | 20In that day a man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which he had made for himself to adore, moles and bats. |
| 21以便在上主起来震撼大地的时候，逃避上主的威吓和他显赫的光辉，而隐藏在磐石的孔洞里和巖石的隙缝中。 | 21And he shall go into the clefts of rocks, and into the holes of stones from the face of the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall rise up to strike the earth. |
| 22你们不要依恃人，因为他只有一口气在鼻孔里，他可算得什么？ | 22Cease ye therefore from the man, whose breath is in his nostrils, for he is reputed high. |
