| 1那时，巴比伦王巴拉丹的儿子默洛达客巴拉丹给希则克雅呈上书信和礼物，因为他听说希则克雅患病好了。 | 1At that time Merodach Baladan, the son of Baladan king of Babylon, sent letters and presents to Ezechias: for he had heard that he had been sick and was recovered. |
| 2希则克雅对他们非常高兴，就叫使者参观自己的宝库、金银、香料、珍膏和武器，以及他府库内所有的财宝：凡他宫中和全国内所有的，希则克雅没有不叫他们参观的。 | 2And Ezechias rejoiced at their coming, and he shewed them the storehouses of his aromatical spices, and of the silver, and of the gold, and of the sweet odours, and of the precious ointment, and all the storehouses of his furniture, and all things that were found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion that Ezechias shewed them not. |
| 3依撒意亚先知来到希则克雅王前对他说：「这些人说了什么？他们是从什么地方到你这里来的？」希则克雅回答说：「他们是从远方，从巴比伦到我这里来的。」 | 3Then Isaias the prophet came to king Ezechias, and said to him: What said these men, and from whence came they to thee? And Ezechias said: From a far country they came to me, from Babylon. |
| 4先知又问说：「他们在你宫里看见了甚么？」希则克雅回答说：「凡我宫里所有的，他们都看了；凡我府库内所有的，没有一样我不叫他们不看的。」 | 4And he said: What saw they in thy house? And Ezechias said: All things that are in my house have they seen, there was not any thing which I have not shewn them in my treasures. |
| 5依撒意亚遂对希则克雅说：「你听万军上主的话罢！ | 5And Isaias said to Ezechias: Rear the word of the Lord of hosts. |
| 6看，日子要到，凡宫中所有的，及你祖先直到今日所积蓄的，都要被带到巴比伦去，什么都不会留下：上主说。 | 6Behold the days shall come, that all that is in thy house, and that thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried away into Babylon: there shall not any thing be left, saith the Lord. |
| 7此外，由你所出，即你所生的子孙中，也有一些要被掳去，在巴比伦王的宫殿里充当太监。」 | 7And of thy children, that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, they shall take away, and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. |
| 8希则克雅便对依撒意亚说：「你所说的上主的话很好。」他想：「只愿在我有生之日有平安，有安全！」 | 8And Ezechias said to Isaias: The word of the Lord, which he hath spoken, is good. And he said: Only let peace and truth be in my days. |
