| 1「我实实在在告诉你们：凡不由门进入羊栈，而由别处爬进去的，便是贼，是强盗。 | 1Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. |
| 2由门进去的，才是羊的牧人。 | 2But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. |
| 3看门的给他开门，羊听他的声音；他按着名字呼唤自己的羊，并引领出来。 | 3To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. |
| 4当他把羊放出来以后，就走在羊前面，羊也跟随他，因为认得他的声音。 | 4And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. |
| 5羊决不跟随陌生人，反而逃避他，因为羊不认得陌生人的声音。」 | 5But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers. |
| 6耶稣给他们讲了这个比喻，他们却不明白给他们所讲的是什么。 | 6This proverb Jesus spoke to them. But they understood not what he spoke to them. |
| 7于是耶稣又对他们说：「我实实在在告诉你们：我是羊的门； | 7Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. |
| 8凡在我以先来的，都是贼和强盗，羊没有听从他们。 | 8All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers: and the sheep heard them not. |
| 9我就是门，谁若经过我进来，必得安全；可以进，可以出，可以找着草场。 | 9I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures. |
| 10贼来，无非是为偷窃、杀害、毁灭；我来，却是为叫他们获得生命，且获得更丰富的生命。 | 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly. |
| 11我是善牧：善牧为羊舍掉自己的性命。 | 11I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep. |
| 12佣工，因不是牧人，羊也不是他自己的，一看见狼来，便弃羊逃跑──狼就抓住羊，把羊赶散了， | 12But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth: and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep: |
| 13因为他是佣工，对羊漠不关心。 | 13And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep. |
| 14我是善牧，我认识我的羊，我的羊也认识我， | 14I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and mine know me. |
| 15正如父认识我，我也认识父一样；我并且为羊舍掉我的性命。 | 15As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for my sheep. |
| 16我还有别的羊，还不属于这一栈，我也该把他们引来，他们要听我的声音，这样，将只有一个羊群，一个牧人。 | 16And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd. |
| 17父爱我，因为我舍掉我的性命，为再取回它来： | 17Therefore doth the Father love me: because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. |
| 18谁也不能夺去我的性命，而是我甘心情愿舍掉它；我有权舍掉它，我也有权再取回它来：这是我由我父所接受的命令。」 | 18No man taketh it away from me: but I lay it down of myself, and I have power to lay it down: and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received of my Father. |
| 19因了这些话，犹太人中间又发生了纷争； | 19A dissension rose again among the Jews for these words. |
| 20他们中有许多人说：「他附魔发疯，为什么还听他呢？」 | 20And many of them said: He hath a devil, and is mad: why hear you him? |
| 21另有些人说：「这话不是附魔的人所能说的；难道魔鬼能开瞎子的眼睛么？」 | 21Others said: These are not the words of one that hath a devil: Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? |
| 22那时，在耶路撒冷举行重建节，正是冬天。 | 22And it was the feast of the dedication at Jerusalem: and it was winter. |
| 23耶稣徘徊于圣殿内撒罗满游廊下。 | 23And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon's porch. |
| 24犹太人围起他来，向他说：「你使我们的心神悬疑不定，要到几时呢？你如果是默西亚，就坦白告诉我们罢！」 | 24The Jews therefore came round about him, and said to him: How long dost thou hold our souls in suspense? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. |
| 25耶稣答复说：「我已告诉了你们，你们却不相信；我以我父的名所作的工作，为我作证， | 25Jesus answered them: I speak to you, and you believe not: the works that I do in the name of my Father, they give testimony of me. |
| 26但你们还是不信，因为你们不是属于我的羊。 | 26But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep. |
| 27我的羊听我的声音，我也认识他们，他们也跟随我； | 27My sheep hear my voice: and I know them, and they follow me. |
| 28我赐予他们永生，他们永远不会丧亡；谁也不能从我手中把他们夺去。 | 28And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand. |
| 29我那赐给我羊群的父，超越一切，为此，谁也不能从我父手里将他们夺去。 | 29That which my Father hath given me, is greater than all: and no one can snatch them out of the hand of my Father. |
| 30我与父原是一体。」 | 30I and the Father are one. |
| 31犹太人又拿起石头来，要砸死他。 | 31The Jews then took up stones to stone him. |
| 32耶稣向他们说：「我赖我父给你们显示了许多善事，为了那一件，你们要砸死我呢？」 | 32Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father; for which of these works do you stone me? |
| 33犹太人回答说：「为了善事，我们不会砸死你；而是为了亵渎的话，因为你是人，却把你自己当作天主。」 | 33The Jews answered him: For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, maketh thyself God. |
| 34耶稣却向他们说：「在你们的法律上不是记载着：『我说过：你们是神』么？ | 34Jesus answered them: Is it not written in your law: I said you are gods? |
| 35如果，那些承受天主话的，天主尚且称他们为神──而经书是不能废弃的── | 35If he called them gods, to whom the word of God was spoken, and the scripture cannot be broken; |
| 36那么，父所祝圣并派遣到世界上来的，因为说过：我是天主子，你们就说：你说亵渎的话么？ | 36Do you say of him whom the Father hath sanctified and sent into the world: Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God? |
| 37假使我不作我父的工作，你们就不必信我； | 37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. |
| 38但若是我作了，你们纵然不肯信我，至少要信这些工作，如此你们必定认出父在我内，我在父内。」 | 38But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father. |
| 39他们又企图捉拿他，他却从他们手中走脱了。 | 39They sought therefore to take him; and he escaped out of their hands. |
| 40耶稣又到约但河对岸，若翰先前施洗的地方去了，并住在那里。 | 40And he went again beyond the Jordan, into that place where John was baptizing first; and there he abode. |
| 41有许多人来到他那里说：「若翰固然没有行过神迹，但若翰关于这人所说的一切，都是真的。」 | 41And many resorted to him, and they said: John indeed did no sign. |
| 42许多人就在那里信了耶稣。 | 42But all things whatsoever John said of this man, were true. And many believed in him. |
