| 1有一次，耶稣在一个地方祈祷，停止以后，他的一个门徒对他说：「主，请教给我们祈祷，如同若翰教给了他的门徒一样。」 | 1And it came to pass, that as he was in a certain place praying, when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him: Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. |
| 2耶稣给他们说：「你们祈祷时要说：父啊！愿你的名被尊为圣！愿你的国来临！ | 2And he said to them: When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. |
| 3我们的日用粮，求你天天赐给我们！ | 3Give us this day our daily bread. |
| 4宽免我们的罪过，因为我们自己也宽免所有亏负我们的人；不要让我们陷入诱惑。」 | 4And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation. |
| 5耶稣对他们说：「你们中间谁有一个朋友，半夜去他那里，给他说：朋友，借给我三个饼罢！ | 5And he said to them: Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go to him at midnight, and shall say to him: Friend, lend me three loaves, |
| 6因为我的朋友行路到了我这里，我没有什么可以款待他。 | 6Because a friend of mine is come off his journey to me, and I have not what to set before him. |
| 7那人从里面回答说：不要烦扰我了！门已经关上，我的孩子们同我一起在床上，我不能起来给你。 | 7And he from within should answer, and say: Trouble me not, the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. |
| 8我告诉你们：他纵然不为了他是朋友的原故，而起来给他，也要因他恬不知耻地切求而起来，给他所需要的一切。 | 8Yet if he shall continue knocking, I say to you, although he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend; yet, because of his importunity, he will rise, and give him as many as he needeth. |
| 9所以，我告诉你们：你们求，必要给你们；你们找，必要找着；你们敲，必要给你们开。 | 9And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you. |
| 10因为凡求的，就必得到；找的，就必找到；敲的，就必给他开。 | 10For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened. |
| 11你们中间那有为父亲的，儿子向他求饼，反而给他石头呢？或是求鱼，反将蛇当鱼给他呢？ | 11And which of you, if he ask his father bread, will he give him a stone? or a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? |
| 12或者求鸡蛋，反将蝎子给他呢？ | 12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he reach him a scorpion? |
| 13你们纵然不善，尚且知道把好东西给你们的儿女，何况在天之父，有不更将圣神赐与求他的人吗？」 | 13If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father from heaven give the good Spirit to them that ask him? |
| 14耶稣驱遂一个魔鬼──他是使人瘖哑的魔鬼；他出去以后，哑吧便说出话来，群众都惊讶不止。 | 14And he was casting out a devil, and the same was dumb: and when he had cast out the devil, the dumb spoke: and the multitudes were in admiration at it: |
| 15但是，其中有人说：「他是仗赖魔王贝耳则步驱魔。」 | 15But some of them said: He casteth out devils by Beelzebub, the prince of devils. |
| 16另一些人试探耶稣，向他要求一个自天而来的征兆。 | 16And others tempting, asked of him a sign from heaven. |
| 17耶稣知道了他们的心意，便给他们说：「凡是一国自相纷争，必成废墟，一家一家的败落。 | 17But he seeing their thoughts, said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself, shall be brought to desolation, and house upon house shall fall. |
| 18如果撒殚自相纷争，他的国如何能存立呢？因为你们说我仗赖贝耳则步驱魔。 | 18And if Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because you say, that through Beelzebub I cast out devils. |
| 19如果我仗赖贝耳则步驱魔，你们的子弟们是仗赖谁驱魔呢？为此，他们将是你们的裁判者。 | 19Now if I cast out devils by Beelzebub; by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. |
| 20如果我是仗赖天主的手指驱魔，那么，天主的国已来到你们中间了。 | 20But if I by the finger of God cast out devils; doubtless the kingdom of God is come upon you. |
| 21几时壮士佩带武器，看守自己的宅舍，他的财产，必能安全。 | 21When a strong man armed keepeth his court, those things are in peace which he possesseth. |
| 22但是，如果有个比他强壮的来战胜他，必会把他所依仗的一切器械都夺去，而瓜分他的赃物。 | 22But if a stronger than he come upon him, and overcome him; he will take away all his armour wherein he trusted, and will distribute his spoils. |
| 23不随同我的，就是反对我；不同我收集的，就是分散。」 | 23He that is not with me, is against me; and he that gathereth not with me, scattereth. |
| 24「邪魔从人身上出去后，走遍干旱之地，寻找一个安息之所，却没有找着；他于是说：我要回到我出来的那屋里去。 | 24When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through places without water, seeking rest; and not finding, he saith: I will return into my house whence I came out. |
| 25他来到后，见里面已打扫清洁，装饰整齐， | 25And when he is come, he findeth it swept and garnished. |
| 26就去，另外带了七个比自己更恶的魔鬼来，进去，住在那里；那人末后的处境，比先前就更坏了。」 | 26Then he goeth and taketh with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and entering in they dwell there. And the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. |
| 27耶稣说这些话的时候，人群中，有一个妇人高声向他说：「怀过你的胎，及你所吮吸过的乳房，是有福的！」 | 27And it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman from the crowd, lifting up her voice, said to him: Blessed is the womb that bore thee, and the paps that gave thee suck. |
| 28耶稣却说：「可是那听天主的话而遵行的人，更是有福的！」 | 28But he said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it. |
| 29群众集合拢来的时候，耶稣开始说：「这一世代是一邪恶的世代：它要求征兆，除了约纳的征兆外，必不给它任何其他征兆。 | 29And the multitudes running together, he began to say: This generation is a wicked generation: it asketh a sign, and a sign shall not be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. |
| 30因为，有如约纳为尼尼微人是个征兆，将来人子为这一世代也是这样。 | 30For as Jonas was a sign to the Ninivites; so shall the Son of man also be to this generation. |
| 31南方的女王，在审判时，将同这一代人起来，定他们的罪，因为她从地极来，听撒罗满的智慧；看，这里有一位大于撒罗满的！ | 31The queen of the south shall rise in the judgment with the men of this generation, and shall condemn them: because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold more than Solomon here. |
| 32尼尼微人在审判时，将同这一代人起来，定他们的罪，因为尼尼微人因了约纳的宣讲而悔改了；看，这里有一位大于约纳的！」 | 32The men of Ninive shall rise in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it; because they did penance at the preaching of Jonas; and behold more than Jonas here. |
| 33「没有人点灯放在窖中，或置于斗下的，而是放在灯台上，让进来的人看见光明。 | 33No man lighteth a candle, and putteth it in a hidden place, nor under a bushel; but upon a candlestick, that they that come in, may see the light. |
| 34你的眼睛就是身体的灯。几时你的眼睛纯洁，你全身就光明；但如果邪恶，你全身就黑暗。 | 34The light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be lightsome: but if it be evil, thy body also will be darksome. |
| 35为此，你要小心，不要叫你内里的光成了黑暗。 | 35Take heed therefore, that the light which is in thee, be not darkness. |
| 36所以，如果你全身光明，丝毫没有黑暗之处，一切必要光明，有如灯光照耀你一样。」 | 36If then thy whole body be lightsome, having no part of darkness; the whole shall be lightsome; and as a bright lamp, shall enlighten thee. |
| 37耶稣正说话的时候，有一个法利塞人请他到自己家中用饭，耶稣进去便入了席。 | 37And as he was speaking, a certain Pharisee prayed him, that he would dine with him. And he going in, sat down to eat. |
| 38那个法利塞人一看见，就怪异耶稣饭前不先洗手。 | 38And the Pharisee began to say, thinking within himself, why he was not washed before dinner. |
| 39但主对他说：「你们法利塞人洗净杯盘的外面，你们心中却满是劫夺与邪恶。 | 39And the Lord said to him: Now you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inside is full of rapine and iniquity. |
| 40糊涂人哪！那造外面的，不是也造了里面吗？ | 40Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without, make also that which is within? |
| 41只要把你们杯盘里面的施舍了，那么，一切对你们便都洁净了。 | 41But yet that which remaineth, give alms; and behold, all things are clean unto you. |
| 42但是，祸哉，你们法利塞人！因为你们把薄荷、芸香及各种菜蔬捐献十分之一，反而将公义及爱天主的义务忽略过去：这些固然该作，那些也不可忽略。 | 42But woe to you, Pharisees, because you tithe mint and rue and every herb; and pass over judgment, and the charity of God. Now these things you ought to have done, and not to leave the other undone. |
| 43祸哉，你们法利塞人！因为你们在会堂里爱坐上座，在街市上爱受人致敬。 | 43Woe to you, Pharisees, because you love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and salutations in the marketplace. |
| 44祸哉，你们！因为你们就如同不显露的坟墓，人在上面行走，也不知道。」 | 44Woe to you, because you are as sepulchres that appear not, and men that walk over are not aware. |
| 45有一个法学士回答耶稣说：「师傅，你说这些话，连我们也侮辱了。」 | 45And one of the lawyers answering, saith to him: Master, in saying these things, thou reproachest us also. |
| 46耶稣说：「祸哉，你们这些法学士！因为你们加给人不堪负荷的重担，而你们自己对重担连一个指头也不肯动一下。 | 46But he said: Woe to you lawyers also, because you load men with burdens which they cannot bear, and you yourselves touch not the packs with one of your fingers. |
| 47祸哉，你们！你们修建先知的坟墓，而你们的祖先却杀害了他们， | 47Woe to you who build the monuments of the prophets: and your fathers killed them. |
| 48可见你们证明，并且赞成你们祖先所行的事，因为他们杀害了先知，而你们却修建先知的坟墓。 | 48Truly you bear witness that you consent to the doings of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and you build their sepulchres. |
| 49为此，天主的智慧曾说过：我将要派遣先知及使者到他们那里，其中有的，他们要杀死；有的，他们要迫害， | 49For this cause also the wisdom of God said: I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute. |
| 50为使从创造世界以来，所流众先知的血，都要向这一代追讨， | 50That the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation, |
| 51从亚伯尔的血，到丧亡在祭坛与圣所之间的则加黎雅的血，的确，我告诉你们：都要向这一代追讨。 | 51From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, who was slain between the alter and the temple: Yea I say to you, It shall be required of this generation. |
| 52祸哉，你们法学士！因为你们拿走了智识的钥匙，自己不进去，那愿意进去的，你们也加以阻止。」 | 52Woe to you lawyers, for you have taken away the key of knowledge: you yourselves have not entered in, and those that were entering in, you have hindered. |
| 53耶稣从那里出来以后，经师们及法利塞人开始严厉追逼他，盘问他许多的事， | 53And as he was saying these things to them, the Pharisees and the lawyers began violently to urge him, and to oppress his mouth about many things, |
| 54窥伺他，要从他口中抓到语病。 | 54Lying in wait for him, and seeking to catch something from his mouth, that they might accuse him. |
