¹耶稣进了耶里哥，正经过的时候，	¹And entering in, he walked through Jericho.
²有一个人，名叫匝凯，他原是税吏长，是个富有的人。	²And behold, there was a man named Zacheus, who was the chief of the publicans, and he was rich.
³他想要看看耶稣是什么人；但由于人多，不能看见，因为他身材短小。	³And he sought to see Jesus who he was, and he could not for the crowd, because he was low of stature.
⁴于是他往前奔跑，攀上了一棵野桑树，要看看耶稣，因为耶稣就要从那里经过。	⁴And running before, he climbed up into a sycamore tree, that he might see him; for he was to pass that way.
⁵耶稣来到那地方，抬头一看，对他说：「匝凯，你快下来！因为我今天必须住在你家中。」	⁵And when Jesus was come to the place, looking up, he saw him, and said to him: Zacheus, make haste and come down; for this day I must abide in thy house.
⁶他便赶快下来，喜悦地款留耶稣。	⁶And he made haste and came down; and received him with joy.
⁷众人见了，都窃窃私议说：「他竟到有罪的人那里投宿。」	⁷And when all saw it, they murmured, saying, that he was gone to be a guest with a man that was a sinner.
⁸匝凯站起来对主说：「主，你看，我把我财物的一半施舍给穷人；我如果欺骗过谁，我就以四倍赔偿。」	⁸But Zacheus standing, said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wronged any man of any thing, I restore him fourfold.
⁹耶稣对他说：「今天救恩临到了这一家，因为他也是亚巴郎之子。	⁹Jesus said to him: This day is salvation come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.
¹⁰因为人子来，是为寻找及拯救迷失了的人。」	¹⁰For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
¹¹众人听这话的时候，耶稣因为已临近耶路撒冷，而且他们都以为天主的国快要出现，遂设了一个比喻，	¹¹As they were hearing these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately be manifested.
¹²说：「有一个贵人起身到远方去，为取得了王位再回来。	¹²He said therefore: A certain nobleman went into a far country, to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
¹³他将自己的十个仆人叫来，交给他们十个『米纳』，并嘱咐说：你们拿去做生意，直到我回来。	¹³And calling his ten servants, he gave them ten pounds, and said to them: Trade till I come.
¹⁴他本国的人，一向怀恨他，遂在他后面派代表去说：我们不愿意这人为王统治我们。	¹⁴But his citizens hated him: and they sent an embassage after him, saying: We will not have this man to reign over us.
¹⁵他得了王位归来以后，便传令将那些领了他钱的仆人给他召来，想知道每个人做生意赚了多少。	¹⁵And it came to pass, that he returned, having received the kingdom: and he commanded his servants to be called, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
¹⁶第一个前来说：主，你的那个『米纳』赚了十个『米纳』。	¹⁶And the first came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
¹⁷主人给他说：好，善仆！你既然在小事上忠信，你要有权掌管十座城。	¹⁷And he said to him: Well done, thou good servant, because thou hast been faithful in a little, thou shalt have power over ten cities.
¹⁸第二个前来说：主，你的那个『米纳』赚了五个『米纳』。	¹⁸And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
¹⁹主人也给这人说：你也要掌管五座城。	¹⁹And he said to him: Be thou also over five cities.
²⁰另一个前来说：主，看，你那个『米纳』，我收存在手巾里。	²⁰And another came, saying: Lord, behold here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin;
²¹我一向害怕你，因为你是一个严厉的人：你没有存放的，也要提取；没有下种的，也要收割。	²¹For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up what thou didst not lay down, and thou reapest that which thou didst not sow.
²²主人向他说：恶仆！我就凭你的口供定你的罪。你不是知道我是个严厉的人，没有存放的，也要提取；没有下种的，也要收割的吗？	²²He saith to him: Out of thy own mouth I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow:
²³为什么你不把我的钱存于钱庄？迨我回来时，我可以连本带利取出来。	²³And why then didst thou not give my money into the bank, that at my coming, I might have exacted it with usury?
²⁴主人便向侍立左右的人说：你们把他那个『米纳』夺过来，给那有十个的。	²⁴And he said to them that stood by: Take the pound away from him, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
²⁵他们向他说：主，他已有十个『米纳』了。	²⁵And they said to him: Lord, he hath ten pounds.
²⁶我告诉你们：凡是有的，还要给他；那没有的，连他所有的，也要从他夺去。	²⁶But I say to you, that to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: and from him that hath not, even that which he hath, shall be taken from him.
²⁷至于那些敌对我，不愿意我作他们君王的人，你们把他们押到这里，在我面前杀掉。」	²⁷But as for those my enemies, who would not have me reign over them, bring them hither, and kill them before me.
²⁸耶稣说了这些话，就领头前行，上耶路撒冷去了。	²⁸And having said these things, he went before, going up to Jerusalem.
²⁹及至临近贝特法革和伯达尼，在一座名叫橄榄山那里，耶稣派遣两个门徒说：	²⁹And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethania, unto the mount called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
³⁰「你们往对面的村庄里去，一进村，就会看见一匹拴着的驴驹，从来没有人骑过，把牠解开，牵来。	³⁰Saying: Go into the town which is over against you, at your entering into which you shall find the colt of an ass tied, on which no man ever hath sitten: loose him, and bring him hither.
³¹如果有人问你们说：你们为什么解牠？你们要这样说：主要用牠。」	³¹And if any man shall ask you: Why do you loose him? you shall say thus unto him: Because the Lord hath need of his service.
³²被派的人去了，所遇见的，正如对他们说过的一样。	³²And they that were sent, went their way, and found the colt standing, as he had said unto them.
³³他们正在解驴驹的时候，驴驹的主人对他们说：「你们为什么解这驴驹？」	³³And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said to them: Why loose you the colt?
³⁴他们说：「主要用牠。」	³⁴But they said: Because the Lord hath need of him.
³⁵他们遂把驴驹牵到耶稣跟前，把他们的外衣搭在驴驹上，扶耶稣骑上。	³⁵And they brought him to Jesus. And casting their garments on the colt, they set Jesus thereon.
³⁶前行的时候，人们把自己的外衣舖在路上。	³⁶And as he went, they spread their clothes underneath in the way.
³⁷当他临近橄榄山的下坡时，众门徒为了所见过的一切奇能，都欢欣的大声颂扬天主说：	³⁷And when he was now coming near the descent of mount Olivet, the whole multitude of his disciples began with joy to praise God with a loud voice, for all the mighty works they had seen,
³⁸「因上主之名而来的君王，应受赞颂！和平在天上，光荣于高天！」	³⁸Saying: Blessed be the king who cometh in the name of the Lord, peace in heaven, and glory on high!
³⁹人群中有几个法利塞人对耶稣说：「师傅，责斥你的门徒罢！」	³⁹And some of the Pharisees, from amongst the multitude, said to him: Master, rebuke thy disciples.
⁴⁰耶稣回答说：「我告诉你们：这些人若不作声，石头就要喊叫了！」	⁴⁰To whom he said: I say to you, that if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.
⁴¹耶稣临近的时候，望见京城，便哀哭她说：	⁴¹And when he drew near, seeing the city, he wept over it, saying:
⁴²「恨不能在这一天，你也知道有关你平安的事；但这事如今在你眼前是隐藏的。	⁴²If thou also hadst known, and that in this thy day, the things that are to thy peace; but now they are hidden from thy eyes.
⁴³的确，日子将临于你，你的仇敌要在你四周筑起壁垒，包围你，四面窘困你；	⁴³For the days shall come upon thee, and thy enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and straiten thee on every side,
⁴⁴又要荡平你，及在你内的子民；在你内决不留一块石头在另一块石头上，因为你没有认识眷顾你的时期。」	⁴⁴And beat thee flat to the ground, and thy children who are in thee: and they shall not leave in thee a stone upon a stone: because thou hast not known the time of thy visitation.
⁴⁵耶稣进了殿院，开始把买卖人赶出去。	⁴⁵And entering into the temple, he began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought.
⁴⁶对他们说：「经上记载：我的殿宇应是祈祷之所，而你们竟把它做了贼窝。」	⁴⁶Saying to them: It is written: My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves.
⁴⁷耶稣每天在圣殿内施教。司祭长及经师并人民的首领，设法要除掉他；	⁴⁷And he was teaching daily in the temple. And the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people sought to destroy him:
⁴⁸但是寻不出什么办法，因为众百姓都倾心听他。	⁴⁸And they found not what to do to him: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
