| 1耶稣举目一望，看见富人把他们的献仪投入银库内。 | 1And looking on, he saw the rich men cast their gifts into the treasury. |
| 2又看见一个贫苦的寡妇，把两文钱投入里面， | 2And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in two brass mites. |
| 3遂说：「我实话告诉你们：这个穷寡妇比众人投入的都多， | 3And he said: Verily I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: |
| 4因为众人都是拿他们多余的投入，作为给天主的献仪；而这个寡妇却是从她的不足中，把她所有的一切生活费都投上了。」 | 4For all these have of their abundance cast into the offerings of God: but she of her want, hath cast in all the living that she had. |
| 5有些人正谈论圣殿是用美丽的石头，和还愿的献品装饰的，耶稣说： | 5And some saying of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said: |
| 6「你们所看见的这一切，待那时日一到，没有一块石头留在另一块石头上，而不被拆毁的。」 | 6These things which you see, the days will come in which there shall not be left a stone upon a stone that shall not be thrown down. |
| 7他们遂问说：「师傅，那么，什么时候要发生这些事？这些事要发生的时候，将有什么先兆？」 | 7And they asked him, saying: Master, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when they shall begin to come to pass? |
| 8耶稣说：「你们要谨慎，不要受欺骗！因为将有许多人，假冒我的名字来说：我就是（默西亚）；又说：时期近了。你们切不可跟随他们。 | 8Who said: Take heed you be not seduced; for many will come in my name, saying, I am he; and the time is at hand: go ye not therefore after them. |
| 9你们几时听见战争及叛乱，不要惊惶！因为这些事必须先要发生，但还不即刻是结局。」 | 9And when you shall hear of wars and seditions, be not terrified: these things must first come to pass; but the end is not yet presently. |
| 10耶稣遂又给他们说：「民族要起来攻击民族，国家攻击国家； | 10Then he said to them: Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. |
| 11将有大地震，到处有饥荒及瘟疫；将出现可怖的异象，天上要有巨大的凶兆。 | 11And there shall be great earthquakes in divers places, and pestilences, and famines, and terrors from heaven; and there shall be great signs. |
| 12但是，这一切事以前，为了我名字的原故，人们要下手把你们拘捕、迫害、解送到会堂，并囚于狱中；且押送到君王及总督之前， | 12But before all these things, they will lay their hands upon you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, dragging you before kings and governors, for my name's sake. |
| 13为给你们一个作见证的机会。 | 13And it shall happen unto you for a testimony. |
| 14所以，你们心中要镇定，不要事先考虑申辩， | 14Lay it up therefore into your hearts, not to meditate before how you shall answer: |
| 15因为我要给你们口才和明智，是你们的一切仇敌所不能抵抗及辩驳的。 | 15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to resist and gainsay. |
| 16你们要为父母、兄弟、亲戚及朋友所出卖；你们中有一些要被杀死。 | 16And you shall be betrayed by your parents and brethren, and kinsmen and friends; and some of you they will put to death. |
| 17你们要为了我的名字，受众人的憎恨； | 17And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake. |
| 18但是，连你们的一根头发，也不会失落。 | 18But a hair of your head shall not perish. |
| 19你们要凭着坚忍，保全你们的灵魂。」 | 19In your patience you shall possess your souls. |
| 20「几时你们看见耶路撒冷被军队围困，那时你们便知道：她的荒凉近了。 | 20And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed about with an army; then know that the desolation thereof is at hand. |
| 21那时，在犹太的，要逃往山中；在京都中的，要离去；在乡间的，不要进京。 | 21Then let those who are in Judea, flee to the mountains; and those who are in the midst thereof, depart out: and those who are in the countries, not enter into it. |
| 22因为这是报复的日子，为要应验所记载的一切。 | 22For these are the days of vengeance, that all things may be fulfilled, that are written. |
| 23在那些日子内，怀孕的及哺乳的，是有祸的，因为要有大难降临这地方，要有义怒临于这百姓身上。 | 23But woe to them that are with child, and give suck in those days; for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. |
| 24他们要倒在剑刃之下，要被掳往列国；耶路撒冷要受异民蹂躏，直到异民的时期满限。」 | 24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword; and shall be led away captives into all nations; and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles; till the times of the nations be fulfilled. |
| 25「在日月星辰上，将有异兆出现；在地上，万国要因海洋波涛的怒号而惊惶失措。 | 25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, by reason of the confusion of the roaring of the sea and of the waves; |
| 26众人要因恐惧，等待即将临于天下的事而昏绝，因为诸天的万象将要动摇。 | 26Men withering away for fear, and expectation of what shall come upon the whole world. For the powers of heaven shall be moved; |
| 27那时，他们要看见人子，带着威能及莫大光荣乘云降来。 | 27And then they shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud, with great power and majesty. |
| 28这些事开始发生时，你们应当挺起身来，抬起你们的头，因为你们的救援近了。」 | 28But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is at hand. |
| 29耶稣又给他们设了一个比喻：「你们看看无花果树及各种树木， | 29And he spoke to them in a similitude. See the fig tree, and all the trees: |
| 30几时，你们看见它们已经发芽，就知道：夏天已经近了。 | 30When they now shoot forth their fruit, you know that summer is nigh; |
| 31同样，几时你们看见这些事发生了，也应知道：天主的国近了。 | 31So you also, when you shall see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is at hand. |
| 32我实在告诉你们：非等一切事发生了，这一代决不会过去。 | 32Amen, I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all things be fulfilled. |
| 33天地要过去，但是，我的话决不会过去。 | 33Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. |
| 34你们应当谨慎，免得你们的心为宴饮沉醉，及人生的挂虑所累时，那意想不到的日子临于你们， | 34And take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly. |
| 35因为那日子有如罗网，临于全地面的一切居民。 | 35For as a snare shall it come upon all that sit upon the face of the whole earth. |
| 36所以，你们应当时时醒寤祈祷，为使你们能逃脱即将发生的这一切事，并能立于人子之前。」 | 36Watch ye, therefore, praying at all times, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are to come, and to stand before the Son of man. |
| 37耶稣白天在圣殿施教，黑夜便出去，到名叫橄榄的山上住宿。 | 37And in the daytime, he was teaching in the temple; but at night, going out, he abode in the mount that is called Olivet. |
| 38众百姓清早起来，到他跟前，在圣殿里听他讲道。 | 38And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him. |
