¹一周的第一天，天还很早，妇女们便携带预备下的香料，来到坟墓那里，	¹And on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
²见石头已由墓穴滚开了。	²And they found the stone rolled back from the sepulchre.
³她们进去，不见了主耶稣的遗体。	³And going in, they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
⁴她们正为此事疑虑的时候，忽然有两个人，穿着耀目的衣服，站在她们身边。	⁴And it came to pass, as they were astonished in their mind at this, behold, two men stood by them, in shining apparel.
⁵她们都害怕，遂把脸垂向地上，那两个人对她们说：「你们为什么在死人中找活人呢？	⁵And as they were afraid, and bowed down their countenance towards the ground, they said unto them: Why seek you the living with the dead?
⁶他不在这里了，他已复活了。你们应当记得：他还在加里肋亚时，怎样告诉过你们，	⁶He is not here, but is risen. Remember how he spoke unto you, when he was in Galilee,
⁷说：人子必须被交付于罪人之手，被钉在十字架上，并在第三日复活。」	⁷Saying: The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
⁸她们遂想起了他的话，	⁸And they remembered his words.
⁹从坟墓那里回去，把这一切事报告给那十一门徒及其余的众人，	⁹And going back from the sepulchre, they told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
¹⁰她们是玛利亚玛达肋纳及约安纳和雅各伯的母亲玛利亚；其余同她们一起的妇女，也把这些事报告给宗徒。	¹⁰And it was Mary Magdalen, and Joanna, and Mary of James, and the other women that were with them, who told these things to the apostles.
¹¹但妇女们的这些话，在他们看来，好像是无稽之谈，不敢相信。	¹¹And these words seemed to them as idle tales; and they did not believe them.
¹²伯多禄却起来跑到坟墓那里，屈身向里窥看，只见有殓布，就走了，心里惊异所发生的事。	¹²But Peter rising up, ran to the sepulchre, and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths laid by themselves; and went away wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.
¹³就在那一天，他们中，有两个人往一个村庄去，村名厄玛乌，离耶路撒冷约六十「斯塔狄」。	¹³And behold, two of them went, the same day, to a town which was sixty furlongs from Jerusalem, named Emmaus.
¹⁴他们彼此谈论所发生的一切事。	¹⁴And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
¹⁵正谈话讨论的时候，耶稣亲自走近他们，与他们同行。	¹⁵And it came to pass, that while they talked and reasoned with themselves, Jesus himself also drawing near, went with them.
¹⁶他们的眼睛却被阻止住了，以致认不出他来。	¹⁶But their eyes were held, that they should not know him.
¹⁷耶稣对他们说：「你们走路，彼此谈论的是些什么事？」他们就站住，面带愁容。	¹⁷And he said to them: What are these discourses that you hold one with another as you walk, and are sad?
¹⁸一个名叫克罗帕的，回答他说：「独有你在耶路撒冷作客，不知道在那里这几天所发生的事吗？」	¹⁸And the one of them, whose name was Cleophas, answering, said to him: Art thou only a stranger to Jerusalem, and hast not known the things that have been done there in these days?
¹⁹耶稣问他们说：「什么事？」他们回答说：「就是有关纳匝肋人耶稣的事。他本是一位先知，在天主及众百姓前，行事说话都有权力。	¹⁹To whom he said: What things? And they said: Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, mighty in work and word before God and all the people;
²⁰我们的司祭长及首领竟解送了他，判了他死罪，钉他在十字架上。	²⁰And how our chief priests and princes delivered him to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
²¹我们原指望他就是那要拯救以色列的。可是──此外还有：这些事发生到今天，已是第三天了。	²¹But we hoped, that it was he that should have redeemed Israel: and now besides all this, today is the third day since these things were done.
²²我们中有几个妇女惊吓了我们；她们清早到了坟墓那里，	²²Yea and certain women also of our company affrighted us, who before it was light, were at the sepulchre,
²³没有看见他的遗体，回来说她们见了天使显现，天使说他复活了。	²³And not finding his body, came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who say that he is alive.
²⁴我们中也有几个到过坟墓那里，所遇见的事，如同妇女们所说的一样，但是没有看见他。」	²⁴And some of our people went to the sepulchre, and found it so as the women had said, but him they found not.
²⁵耶稣于是对他们说：「唉！无知的人哪！为信先知们所说的一切话，你们的心竟是这般迟钝！	²⁵Then he said to them: O foolish, and slow of heart to believe in all things which the prophets have spoken.
²⁶默西亚不是必须受这些苦难，才进入他的光荣吗？	²⁶Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and so to enter into his glory?
²⁷他于是从梅瑟及众先知开始，把全部《经书》论及他的话，都给他们解释了。	²⁷And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures, the things that were concerning him.
²⁸当他们临近了他们要去的村庄时，耶稣装作还要前行。	²⁸And they drew nigh to the town, whither they were going: and he made as though he would go farther.
²⁹他们强留他说：「请同我们一起住下罢！因为快到晚上，天已垂暮了。」耶稣就进去，同他们住下。	²⁹But they constrained him; saying: Stay with us, because it is towards evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in with them.
³⁰当耶稣与他们坐下吃饭的时候，就拿起饼来，祝福了，擘开，递给他们。	³⁰And it came to pass, whilst he was at table with them, he took bread, and blessed, and brake, and gave to them.
³¹他们的眼睛开了，这才认出耶稣来；但他却由他们眼前隐没了。	³¹And their eyes were opened, and they knew him: and he vanished out of their sight.
³²他们就彼此说：「当他在路上与我们谈话，给我们讲解《圣经》的时候，我们的心不是火热的吗？」	³²And they said one to the other: Was not our heart burning within us, whilst he spoke in this way, and opened to us the scriptures?
³³他们遂即动身，返回耶路撒冷，遇见那十一门徒及他们一起的人，正聚在一起，	³³And rising up, the same hour, they went back to Jerusalem: and they found the eleven gathered together, and those that were staying with them,
³⁴彼此谈论说：「主真复活了，并显现给西满了！」	³⁴Saying: The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
³⁵二人就把在路上的事，及在分饼时，他们怎样认出了耶稣，述说了一遍。	³⁵And they told what things were done in the way; and how they knew him in the breaking of the bread.
³⁶他们正谈论这些事的时候，耶稣立在他们中间，向他们说：「愿你们平安！」	³⁶Now whilst they were speaking these things, Jesus stood in the midst of them, and saith to them: Peace be to you; it is I, fear not.
³⁷众人害怕起来，想是见了鬼神。	³⁷But they being troubled and frightened, supposed that they saw a spirit.
³⁸耶稣向他们说：「你们为什么恐惶？为什么心里起了疑虑？	³⁸And he said to them: Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
³⁹你们看看我的手，我的脚，分明是我自己。你们摸摸我，应该知道：鬼神是没有肉躯和骨头的，如同你们看我，却是有的。」	³⁹See my hands and feet, that it is I myself; handle, and see: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as you see me to have.
⁴⁰说了这话，就把手和脚伸给他们看。	⁴⁰And when he had said this, he shewed them his hands and feet.
⁴¹他们由于欢喜，还是不敢信，只是惊讶；耶稣向他们说：「你们这里有什么吃的没有？」	⁴¹But while they yet believed not, and wondered for joy, he said: Have you any thing to eat?
⁴²他们便给了他一片烤鱼。	⁴²And they offered him a piece of a broiled fish, and a honeycomb.
⁴³他就接过来，当他们面前吃了。	⁴³And when he had eaten before them, taking the remains, he gave to them.
⁴⁴耶稣对他们说：「我以前还同你们在一起的时候，就对你们说过这话：诸凡《梅瑟法律》、《先知》并《圣咏》上指着我所记载的话，都必须应验。」	⁴⁴And he said to them: These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
⁴⁵耶稣遂开启他们的明悟，叫他们理解经书；	⁴⁵Then he opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.
⁴⁶又向他们说：「经上曾这样记载：默西亚必须受苦，第三天要从死者中复活；	⁴⁶And he said to them: Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise again from the dead, the third day:
⁴⁷并且必须从耶路撒冷开始，因他的名向万邦宣讲悔改，以得罪之赦。	⁴⁷And that penance and remission of sins should be preached in his name, unto all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
⁴⁸你们就是这些事的见证人。	⁴⁸And you are witnesses of these things.
⁴⁹看，我要把我父所恩许的，遣发到你们身上；至于你们，你们应当留在这城中，直到佩戴上自高天而来的能力。」	⁴⁹And I send the promise of my Father upon you: but stay you in the city till you be endued with power from on high.
⁵⁰耶稣领他们出去，直到伯达尼附近，就举手降福了他们。	⁵⁰And he led them out as far as Bethania: and lifting up his hands, he blessed them.
⁵¹正降福他们的时候，就离开他们，被提升天去了。	⁵¹And it came to pass, whilst he blessed them, he departed from them, and was carried up to heaven.
⁵²他们叩拜了他，皆大喜欢地返回了耶路撒冷，	⁵²And they adoring went back into Jerusalem with great joy.
⁵³常在圣殿里称谢天主。	⁵³And they were always in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
