¹耶稣召集了那十二人来，赐给他们制伏一切魔鬼，并治疗疾病的能力和权柄，	¹Then calling together the twelve apostles, he gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
²派遣他们去宣讲天主的国，并治好病人，	²And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
³向他们说：「你们在路上什么也不要带，也不要带棍杖，也不要带口袋，也不要带食物，也不要带银钱也不要带两件内衣。	³And he said to them: Take nothing for your journey; neither staff, nor scrip, nor bread, nor money; neither have two coats.
⁴你们无论进了那一家，就住在那里，直到从那里离去。	⁴And whatsoever house you shall enter into, abide there, and depart not from thence.
⁵人若不接待你们，你们要离开那城，拂去你们脚上的尘土，作为反对他们的证据。」	⁵And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off even the dust of your feet, for a testimony against them.
⁶他们就出发，周游各乡村，宣传喜讯，到处治病。	⁶And going out, they went about through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere.
⁷分封候黑落德听到发生的这一切事，犹豫不定，因为有些人说：「若翰从死者中复活了。」	⁷Now Herod, the tetrarch, heard of all things that were done by him; and he was in a doubt, because it was said
⁸但另有些人说：「是厄里亚出现了。」还有些人说：「是一位古先知复活了。」	⁸By some, that John was risen from the dead: but by other some, that Elias had appeared; and by others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.
⁹黑落德且说：「若翰我已经斩首了；而这人到底是谁？关于他，我竟听到了这样的事！」便想法看看他。	⁹And Herod said: John I have beheaded; but who is this of whom I hear such things? And he sought to see him.
¹⁰宗徒们回来，把所行的一切报告给耶稣，他遂带着他们私自退往一座名叫贝特赛达的城去了。	¹⁰And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all they had done. And taking them, he went aside into a desert place, apart, which belongeth to Bethsaida.
¹¹群众一知道，也跟随他去了；他就迎接他们，给他们讲论天主的国，并治好了那些急需治疗的人。	¹¹Which when the people knew, they followed him; and he received them, and spoke to them of the kingdom of God, and healed them who had need of healing.
¹²天将要黑的时候，那十二人前来对他说：「请遣散群众，叫他们往四周村庄田舍里去投宿寻食，因为我们这里，是在荒野地方。」	¹²Now the day began to decline. And the twelve came and said to him: Send away the multitude, that going into the towns and villages round about, they may lodge and get victuals; for we are here in a desert place.
¹³耶稣却向他们说：「你们给他们吃的罢！」他们答说：「我们不过只有五个饼和两条鱼，除非我们亲自去给这一切人购买食物。」	¹³But he said to them: Give you them to eat. And they said: We have no more than five loaves and two fishes; unless perhaps we should go and buy food for all this multitude.
¹⁴原来男人大约有五千。他却对自己的门徒说：「叫他们分伙坐下，约五十人一伙。」	¹⁴Now there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples: Make them sit down by fifties in a company.
¹⁵门徒就照样做了，叫众人坐下。	¹⁵And they did so; and made them all sit down.
¹⁶他遂拿起那五个饼和那两条鱼来，望着天祝福了，擘开递给门徒，叫他们摆在群众前。	¹⁶And taking the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed them; and he broke, and distributed to his disciples, to set before the multitude.
¹⁷众人吃了，也都饱了；把他们所剩的碎块，收集了十二筐。	¹⁷And they did all eat, and were filled. And there were taken up of fragments that remained to them, twelve baskets.
¹⁸有一天，耶稣独自祈祷，门徒同他在一起。他问他们说：「众人说我是谁？」	¹⁸And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples also were with him: and he asked them, saying: Whom do the people say that I am?
¹⁹他们回答说：「有人说是洗者若翰；有人却说是厄里亚；还有人说是古时的一位先知复活了。」	¹⁹But they answered, and said: John the Baptist; but some say Elias; and others say that one of the former prophets is risen again.
²⁰他问他们说：「但你们说我是谁呢？」伯多禄回答说：「天主的受傅者。」	²⁰And he said to them: But whom do you say that I am? Simon Peter answering, said: The Christ of God.
²¹但耶稣严厉嘱咐他们，不要把这事告诉人，	²¹But he strictly charging them, commanded they should tell this to no man.
²²说：「人子必须受许多苦，被长老、司祭长和经师们弃绝，并且要被杀；但第三天必要复活。」	²²Saying: The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the ancients and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day rise again.
²³他又对众人说：「谁若愿意跟随我，该弃绝自己，天天背着自己的十字架跟随我。	²³And he said to all: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
²⁴因为谁若愿意救自己的性命，必要丧失性命；但谁若为我的原故丧失自己的性命，这人必能救得性命。	²⁴For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it; for he that shall lose his life for my sake, shall save it.
²⁵人纵然赚得了全世界，却丧失了自己，或赔上自己，为他有什么益处呢？	²⁵For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, and cast away himself?
²⁶谁若以我和我的话为耻，将来人子在自己的光荣，和父及众圣天使的光荣中降来时，也要以这人为耻。	²⁶For he that shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him the Son of man shall be ashamed, when he shall come in his majesty, and that of his Father, and of the holy angels.
²⁷我确实告诉你们：站在这里的人中，就有几个在未尝到死味以前，必要看见天主的国。」	²⁷But I tell you of a truth: There are some standing here that shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God.
²⁸讲了这些道理以后，大约过了八天，耶稣带着伯多禄、若望和雅各伯上山去祈祷。	²⁸And it came to pass about eight days after these words, that he took Peter, and James, and John, and went up into a mountain to pray.
²⁹正当他祈祷时，他的面容改变，他的衣服洁白发光。	²⁹And whilst he prayed, the shape of his countenance was altered, and his raiment became white and glittering.
³⁰忽然，有两个人，即梅瑟和厄里亚，同他谈话。	³⁰And behold two men were talking with him. And they were Moses and Elias,
³¹他们出显在光耀中，谈论耶稣的去世，即他在耶路撒冷必要完成的事。	³¹Appearing in majesty. And they spoke of his decease that he should accomplish in Jerusalem.
³²伯多禄和同他在一起的，都昏昏欲睡。他们一醒，就看见他的光耀和在他旁侍立的两个人。	³²But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep. And waking, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
³³那二人正要离开时，伯多禄对耶稣说：「老师，我们在这里真好！让我们搭三个帐棚：一个为你，一个为梅瑟，一个为厄里亚。」他原来不知道说什么了。	³³And it came to pass, that as they were departing from him, Peter saith to Jesus: Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias; not knowing what he said.
³⁴他说这话的时候，有一片云彩遮蔽了他们。他们进入云彩时，门徒们就害怕起来。	³⁴And as he spoke these things, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them; and they were afraid, when they entered into the cloud.
³⁵云中有声音说：「这是我的儿子，我所拣选的，你们要听从他！」	³⁵And a voice came out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son; hear him.
³⁶正有这声音时，只见耶稣独自一人。在那些日子，他们都守了秘密，把所见的事一点也没有告诉任何人。	³⁶And whilst the voice was uttered, Jesus was found alone. And they held their peace, and told no man in those days any of these things which they had seen.
³⁷第二天，他们从山上下来，一大群人来迎接他。	³⁷And it came to pass the day following, when they came down from the mountain, there met him a great multitude.
³⁸看，从群众中有一个人喊叫说：「师傅，求你怜视我的儿子，因为他是我的独子；	³⁸And behold a man among the crowd cried out, saying: Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son, because he is my only one.
³⁹魔鬼一抓住他，便使他突然狂叫，使他痉挛至于吐沫，叫他筋疲力尽了，还是不肯离开他。	³⁹And lo, a spirit seizeth him, and he suddenly crieth out, and he throweth him down and teareth him, so that he foameth; and bruising him, he hardly departeth from him.
⁴⁰我求了你的门徒把魔鬼逐出，他们却不能。」	⁴⁰And I desired thy disciples to cast him out, and they could not.
⁴¹耶稣回答说：「哎！无信而败坏的世代！我同你们在一起，并容忍你们直到几时呢？领你的儿子到这里来罢！」	⁴¹And Jesus answering, said: O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring hither thy son.
⁴²当他走过来时，魔鬼还把他摔倒，使他痉挛。耶稣一叱责邪魔，就治好了孩子，把他交给了他的父亲。	⁴²And as he was coming to him, the devil threw him down, and tore him.
⁴³众人都惊讶天主的伟大。当众人惊奇耶稣所作的一切时，他向自己的门徒说：	⁴³And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and cured the boy, and restored him to his father.
⁴⁴「你们应谨记这些话：人子将要被交于人手中。」	⁴⁴And all were astonished at the mighty power of God. But while all wondered at all the things he did, he said to his disciples: Lay you up in your hearts these words, for it shall come to pass, that the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.
⁴⁵但他们不明了这话，这话为他们还是蒙蔽着，不叫他们了解；他们又怕问他这话的意思。	⁴⁵But they understood not this word; and it was hid from them, so that they perceived it not. And they were afraid to ask him concerning this word.
⁴⁶他们心中起了一个思想：谁是他们中最大的。	⁴⁶And there entered a thought into them, which of them should be greater.
⁴⁷耶稣看透了他们的心思，就领来一个小孩子，叫他立在自己身边，	⁴⁷But Jesus seeing the thoughts of their heart, took a child and set him by him,
⁴⁸对他们说：「谁若为了我的名字收留这个小孩子，就是收留我；谁若收留我，就是收留那派遣我来的；因为在你们众人中最小的，这人才是最大的。」	⁴⁸And said to them: Whosoever shall receive this child in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth him that sent me. For he that is the lesser among you all, he is the greater.
⁴⁹若望说：「老师！我们曾看见一个人，因你的名字驱魔，就禁止了他，因为他不与我们同伙。」	⁴⁹And John, answering, said: Master, we saw a certain man casting out devils in thy name, and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us.
⁵⁰耶稣却向他说：「不要禁止！因为谁不反对你们，就是倾向你们。」	⁵⁰And Jesus said to him: Forbid him not; for he that is not against you, is for you.
⁵¹耶稣被接升天的日期，就快要来到，他遂决意面朝耶路撒冷走去，	⁵¹And it came to pass, when the days of his assumption were accomplishing, that he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem.
⁵²便打发使者在他前面走；他们去了，进了撒玛黎雅人的一个村庄，好为他准备住宿。	⁵²And he sent messengers before his face; and going, they entered into a city of the Samaritans, to prepare for him.
⁵³人们却不收留他，因为他是面朝耶路撒冷去的。	⁵³And they received him not, because his face was of one going to Jerusalem.
⁵⁴雅各伯及若望两个门徒见了，便说：「主，你愿意我们叫火自天降下，焚毁他们吗？」	⁵⁴And when his disciples James and John had seen this, they said: Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them?
⁵⁵耶稣转过身来斥责了他们。	⁵⁵And turning, he rebuked them, saying: You know not of what spirit you are.
⁵⁶他们遂又到别的村庄去了。	⁵⁶The Son of man came not to destroy souls, but to save. And they went into another town.
⁵⁷他们正走的时候，在路上有一个人对耶稣说：「你不论往那里去，我要跟随你。」	⁵⁷And it came to pass, as they walked in the way, that a certain man said to him: I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
⁵⁸耶稣给他说：「狐狸有穴，天上的飞鸟有巢；但是人子却没有枕头的地方。」	⁵⁸Jesus said to him: The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
⁵⁹又对另一个人说：「你跟随我罢！」那人却说：「主，请许我先去埋葬我的父亲。」	⁵⁹But he said to another: Follow me. And he said: Lord, suffer me first to go, and to bury my father.
⁶⁰耶稣给他说：「任凭死人去埋葬自己的死人罢！至于你，你要去宣扬天主的国。」	⁶⁰And Jesus said to him: Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou, and preach the kingdom of God.
⁶¹又有一个人说：「主！我要跟随你；但请许我先告别我的家人。」	⁶¹And another said: I will follow thee, Lord; but let me first take my leave of them that are at my house.
⁶²耶稣对他说：「手扶着犁而往后看的，不适于天主的国。」	⁶²Jesus said to him: No man putting his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
