¹天主子耶稣基督福音的开始，	¹The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
²正如先知《依撒意亚书》上记载的：「看，我派遣我的使者在你面前，预备你的道路。	²As it is written in Isaias the prophet: Behold I send my angel before thy face, who shall prepare the way before thee.
³旷野中有呼号者的声音：你们当预备上主的道路，修直他的途径。」	³A voice of one crying in the desert: Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.
⁴洗者若翰便在旷野里出现，宣讲悔改的洗礼，为得罪之赦。	⁴John was in the desert baptizing, and preaching the baptism of penance, unto remission of sins.
⁵犹太全地和耶路撒冷的群众都出来，到他那里，承认自己的罪过，在约但河里受他的洗。	⁵And there went out to him all the country of Judea, and all they of Jerusalem, and were baptized by him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
⁶若翰穿的是骆驼毛的衣服，腰间束的是皮带，吃的是蝗虫与野蜜。	⁶And John was clothed with camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and he ate locusts and wild honey.
⁷他宣告说：「那比我更有力量的，要在我以后来，我连俯身解他的鞋带也不配。	⁷And he preached, saying: There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.
⁸我以水洗你们，他却要以圣神洗你们。」	⁸I have baptized you with water; but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
⁹在那些日子里，耶稣由加里肋亚纳匝肋来，在约但河里受了若翰的洗。	⁹And it came to pass, in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
¹⁰他刚从水里上来，就看见天裂开了，圣神有如鸽子降在他上面；	¹⁰And forthwith coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit as a dove descending, and remaining on him.
¹¹又有声音从天上说：「你是我的爱子，我因你而喜悦。」	¹¹And there came a voice from heaven: Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
¹²圣神立即催他到旷野里去。	¹²And immediately the Spirit drove him out into the desert.
¹³他在旷野里，四十天之久，受撒殚的试探，与野兽在一起，并有天使服侍他。	¹³And he was in the desert forty days and forty nights, and was tempted by Satan; and he was with beasts, and the angels ministered to him.
¹⁴若翰被监禁后，耶稣来到加里肋亚，宣讲天主的福音，	¹⁴And after that John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
¹⁵说：「时期已满，天主的国临近了，你们悔改，信从福音罢！」	¹⁵And saying: The time is accomplished, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel.
¹⁶当耶稣沿着加里肋亚海行走时，看见西满和西满的兄弟安德肋，在海里撒网，他们原是渔夫。	¹⁶And passing by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother, casting nets into the sea (for they were fishermen).
¹⁷耶稣向他们说：「来跟随我！我要使你们成为渔人的渔夫。」	¹⁷And Jesus said to them: Come after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
¹⁸他们便立刻抛下网，跟随了他。	¹⁸And immediately leaving their nets, they followed him.
¹⁹耶稣向前行了不远，看见载伯德的儿子雅各伯和他的弟弟若望，正在船上修网。	¹⁹And going on from thence a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were mending their nets in the ship:
²⁰耶稣遂立即召叫他们；他们就把自己的父亲载伯德和佣工们留在船上，跟随他去了。	²⁰And forthwith he called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with his hired men, they followed him.
²¹他们进了葛法翁；一到安息日，耶稣就进入会堂教训人。	²¹And they entered into Capharnaum, and forthwith upon the sabbath days going into the synagogue, he taught them.
²²人都惊奇他的教训，因为他教训他们正像有权威似的，不像经师们一样。	²²And they were astonished at his doctrine. For he was teaching them as one having power, and not as the scribes.
²³当时，在他们的会堂里，正有一个附邪魔的人，他喊叫，	²³And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
²⁴说：「纳匝肋人耶稣！我们与你有什么相干？你竟来毁灭我们！我知道你是谁，你是天主的圣者。」	²⁴Saying: What have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know who thou art, the Holy One of God.
²⁵耶稣叱责他说：「不要作声！从他身上出去！」	²⁵And Jesus threatened him, saying: Speak no more, and go out of the man.
²⁶邪魔使那人拘挛了一阵，大喊一声，就从他身上出去了。	²⁶And the unclean spirit tearing him, and crying out with a loud voice, went out of him.
²⁷众人大为惊愕，以致彼此询问说：「这是怎么一回事？这是新的教训，并具有权威；他连给邪魔出命，邪魔也听从他。」	²⁷And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying: What thing is this? what is this new doctrine? for with power he commandeth even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.
²⁸他的声誉遂即传遍了加里肋亚附近各处。	²⁸And the fame of him was spread forthwith into all the country of Galilee.
²⁹他一出会堂，就同雅各伯和若望来到了西满和安德肋的家里。	²⁹And immediately going out of the synagogue they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
³⁰那时，西满的岳母正躺着发烧；有人就向耶稣提起她来，	³⁰And Simon's wife's mother lay in a fit of a fever: and forthwith they tell him of her.
³¹耶稣上前去，握往她的手，扶起她来，热症遂即离开了她；她就伺候他们。	³¹And coming to her, he lifted her up, taking her by the hand; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
³²到了晚上，日落之后，人把所有患病的和附魔的，都带到他跟前，	³²And when it was evening, after sunset, they brought to him all that were ill and that were possessed with devils.
³³合城的人都聚在门前。	³³And all the city was gathered together at the door.
³⁴耶稣治好了许多患各种病症的人，驱逐了许多魔鬼，并且不许魔鬼说话，因为魔鬼认识他。	³⁴And he healed many that were troubled with divers diseases; and he cast out many devils, and he suffered them not to speak, because they knew him.
³⁵清晨，天还很黑，耶稣就起身出去，到荒野的地方，在那里祈祷。	³⁵And rising very early, going out, he went into a desert place: and there he prayed.
³⁶西满和同他在一起的人都去追寻他，	³⁶And Simon, and they that were with him, followed after him.
³⁷找到了他，就向他说：「众人都找你呢！」	³⁷And when they had found him, they said to him: All seek for thee.
³⁸耶稣对他们说：「让我们到别处去，到邻近的村镇去罢！好叫我也在那里宣讲，因为我是为这事出来的。」	³⁸And he saith to them: Let us go into the neighbouring towns and cities, that I may preach there also; for to this purpose am I come.
³⁹他遂到加里肋亚各地，在他们的会堂里宣讲，并驱逐魔鬼。	³⁹And he was preaching in their synagogues, and in all Galilee, and casting out devils.
⁴⁰有一个癞病人来到耶稣跟前，跪下求他说：「你若愿意，就能洁净我。」	⁴⁰And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down said to him: If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
⁴¹耶稣动了怜悯的心，就伸手抚摸他，向他说：「我愿意，你洁净了罢！」	⁴¹And Jesus having compassion on him, stretched forth his hand; and touching him, saith to him: I will. Be thou made clean.
⁴²癞病立时脱离了他，他就洁净了。	⁴²And when he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean.
⁴³然后，耶稣严厉警告他，立即催他走，	⁴³And he strictly charged him, and forthwith sent him away.
⁴⁴并向他说：「当心！什么也不可告诉人，但去叫司祭检验你，并为你的洁净，奉献梅瑟所规定的，给他们当作证据。」	⁴⁴And he saith to him: See thou tell no one; but go, shew thyself to the high priest, and offer for thy cleansing the things that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
⁴⁵但那人一出去，便开始极力宣扬，把这事传扬开了，以致耶稣不能再公然进城，只好留在外边荒野的地方；但人们却从各处到他跟前来。	⁴⁵But he being gone out, began to publish and to blaze abroad the word: so that he could not openly go into the city, but was without in desert places: and they flocked to him from all sides.
