¹他们来到了海的对岸革辣撒人的地方。	¹And they came over the strait of the sea into the country of the Gerasens.
²耶稣一下船，即刻有一个附邪魔的人，从坟墓里出来，迎着他走来，	²And as he went out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the monuments a man with an unclean spirit,
³原来那人居住在坟墓里，再没有人能捆住他，就是用锁链也不能，	³Who had his dwelling in the tombs, and no man now could bind him, not even with chains.
⁴因为人屡次用脚镣和锁链将他捆缚，他却将锁链挣断，将脚镣弄碎，没有人能制伏他。	⁴For having been often bound with fetters and chains, he had burst the chains, and broken the fetters in pieces, and no one could tame him.
⁵他昼夜在坟墓里或山陵中喊叫，用石头击伤自己。	⁵And he was always day and night in the monuments and in the mountains, crying and cutting himself with stones.
⁶他从远处望见了耶稣，就跑来，跪在他前，	⁶And seeing Jesus afar off, he ran and adored him.
⁷大声喊说：「至高天主之子耶稣，我与你有什么相干？我因着天主誓求你，不要苦害我！」	⁷And crying with a loud voice, he said: What have I to do with thee, Jesus the Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God that thou torment me not.
⁸因为耶稣曾向他说：「邪魔，从这人身上出去！」	⁸For he said unto him: Go out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
⁹耶稣问他说：「你名叫什么？」他回答说：「我名叫『军旅』，因为我们众多。」	⁹And he asked him: What is thy name? And he saith to him: My name is Legion, for we are many.
¹⁰他再三恳求耶稣，不要驱逐他们离开此地。	¹⁰And he besought him much, that he would not drive him away out of the country.
¹¹那时，在那边山坡上，有一大群猪正在牧放，	¹¹And there was there near the mountain a great herd of swine, feeding.
¹²他们恳求耶稣说：「请打发我们到那猪群，好让我们进入牠们内。」	¹²And the spirits besought him, saying: Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
¹³耶稣准许了他们；邪魔就出来，进入了猪内。那群猪约有二千，便从山崖上直冲到海里，在海里淹死了。	¹³And Jesus immediately gave them leave. And the unclean spirits going out, entered into the swine: and the herd with great violence was carried headlong into the sea, being about two thousand, and were stifled in the sea.
¹⁴放猪的人就逃去，到城里和乡间传报开了；人都出来看是发生了什么事。	¹⁴And they that fed them fled, and told it in the city and in the fields. And they went out to see what was done:
¹⁵他们来到耶稣跟前，看见那个附魔的人，即为「军旅」所附的人，坐在那里，穿着衣服，神志清醒，就害怕起来。	¹⁵And they came to Jesus, and they see him that was troubled with the devil, sitting, clothed, and well in his wits, and they were afraid.
¹⁶看见的人就把附魔的人所遇到的事，和那群猪的事，都给他们述说了。	¹⁶And they that had seen it, told them, in what manner he had been dealt with who had the devil; and concerning the swine.
¹⁷他们便请求耶稣离开他们的境界。	¹⁷And they began to pray him that he would depart from their coasts.
¹⁸当耶稣上船时，那曾附过魔的人，恳求耶稣让他同耶稣在一起。	¹⁸And when he went up into the ship, he that had been troubled with the devil, began to beseech him that he might be with him.
¹⁹耶稣没有允许他，但对他说：「你回家，到你的亲属那里，给他们传述上主为你作了何等大事，怎样怜悯了你。」	¹⁹And he admitted him not, but saith to him: Go into thy house to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had mercy on thee.
²⁰那人就走了，在十城区开始传扬耶稣为他所作的何等大事，众人都惊奇不已。	²⁰And he went his way, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men wondered.
²¹耶稣乘船又渡回对岸，有大伙群众聚集在他周围；他遂留在海滨。	²¹And when Jesus had passed again in the ship over the strait, a great multitude assembled together unto him, and he was nigh unto the sea.
²²那时，来了一个会堂长，名叫雅依洛，一见耶稣，就跪伏在他脚前，	²²And there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue named Jairus: and seeing him, falleth down at his feet.
²³恳切求他说：「我的小女儿快要死了，请你来，给她覆手，叫她得救回生。」	²³And he besought him much, saying: My daughter is at the point of death, come, lay thy hand upon her, that she may be safe, and may live.
²⁴耶稣就同他去了。有一大群人跟随着他，拥挤着他。	²⁴And he went with him, and a great multitude followed him, and they thronged him.
²⁵那时，有一个妇人，患血漏已有十二年。	²⁵And a woman who was under an issue of blood twelve years,
²⁶她在许多医生手里，受了许多痛苦，花尽了自己所有的一切，不但没有见效，反而病势更加重了。	²⁶And had suffered many things from many physicians; and had spent all that she had, and was nothing the better, but rather worse,
²⁷她听了有关耶稣的传说，便来到人群中，从后边摸了耶稣的衣裳，	²⁷When she had heard of Jesus, came in the crowd behind him, and touched his garment.
²⁸因为她心里想：「我只要一摸他的衣裳，必然会好的。」	²⁸For she said: If I shall touch but his garment, I shall be whole.
²⁹她的血源立刻涸竭了，并且觉得身上的疾病也好了。	²⁹And forthwith the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the evil.
³⁰耶稣立时觉得有一种能力从自己身上出去，就在人群中回过头来说：「谁摸了我的衣裳？」	³⁰And immediately Jesus knowing in himself the virtue that had proceeded from him, turning to the multitude, said: Who hath touched my garments?
³¹他的门徒向他说：「你看！群众四面拥挤着你，你还问：谁摸了我？」	³¹And his disciples said to him: Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou who hath touched me?
³²耶稣四周观望，要看作这事的妇人。	³²And he looked about to see her who had done this.
³³那妇人明知在自己身上所成的事，就战战兢兢地前来，跪伏在耶稣前，把实情完全告诉了他。	³³But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
³⁴耶稣便向她说：「女儿，你的信德救了你，平安去罢！你的疾病必得痊愈！」	³⁴And he said to her: Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be thou whole of thy disease.
³⁵他还说话的时候，有人从会堂长家里来，说：「你的女儿死了，你还来烦劳师傅做什么？」	³⁵While he was yet speaking, some come from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying: Thy daughter is dead: why dost thou trouble the master any further?
³⁶耶稣听见所说的话，就给会堂长说：「不要怕，只管信。」	³⁶But Jesus having heard the word that was spoken, saith to the ruler of the synagogue: Fear not, only believe.
³⁷除伯多禄、雅各伯和雅各伯的弟弟若望外，他没有让任何人跟他去。	³⁷And he admitted not any man to follow him, but Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
³⁸他们到了会堂长的家里，耶稣看见群众非常喧噪：有的哭泣，有的哀号，	³⁸And they come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue; and he seeth a tumult, and people weeping and wailing much.
³⁹便进去，给他们说：「你们为什么喧噪哭泣呢？小女孩并没有死，只是睡着了！」	³⁹And going in, he saith to them: Why make you this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
⁴⁰他们都讥笑他。他却把众人赶出去，带着小女孩的父亲和母亲，及同他在一起的人，进了小女孩所在的地方。	⁴⁰And they laughed him to scorn. But he having put them all out, taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
⁴¹他拿起小女孩的手，对她说：「塔里塔，古木！」意思是：「女孩子，我命你起来！」	⁴¹And taking the damsel by the hand, he saith to her: Talitha cumi, which is, being interpreted: Damsel (I say to thee) arise.
⁴²那女孩子就立刻起来行走，原来她已十二岁了；他们都惊讶得目瞪口呆。	⁴²And immediately the damsel rose up, and walked: and she was twelve years old: and they were astonished with a great astonishment.
⁴³耶稣却严厉命令他们，不要叫任何人知道这事；又吩咐给女孩子吃的。	⁴³And he charged them strictly that no man should know it: and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
