| 1「天国好像一个家主，清晨出去为自己的葡萄园雇工人。 | 1The kingdom of heaven is like to an householder, who went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. |
| 2他与工人议定一天一个『德纳』，就派他们到葡萄园里去了。 | 2And having agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. |
| 3约在第三时辰，又出去，看见另有些人在街市上闲立着， | 3And going out about the third hour, he saw others standing in the market place idle. |
| 4就对他们说：你们也到我的葡萄园里去罢！凡照公义该给的，我必给你们。 | 4And he said to them: Go you also into my vineyard, and I will give you what shall be just. |
| 5他们就去了。约在第六和第九时辰，他又出去，也照样作了。 | 5And they went their way. And again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did in like manner. |
| 6约在第十一时辰，他又出去，看见还有些人站在那里，就对他们说：为什么你们站在这里整天闲着？ | 6But about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing, and he saith to them: Why stand you here all the day idle? |
| 7他们对他说：因为没有人雇我们。他给他们说：你们也到我的葡萄园里去罢！ | 7They say to him: Because no man hath hired us. He saith to them: Go you also into my vineyard. |
| 8到了晚上，葡萄园的主人对他的管事人说：你叫工人来，分给他们工资，由最后的开始，直到最先的。 | 8And when evening was come, the lord of the vineyard saith to his steward: Call the labourers and pay them their hire, beginning from the last even to the first. |
| 9那些约在第十一时辰来的人，每人领了一个『德纳』。 | 9When therefore they were come, that came about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. |
| 10那些最先雇的前来，心想自己必会多领；但他们也只领了一个『德纳』。 | 10But when the first also came, they thought that they should receive more: and they also received every man a penny. |
| 11他们一领了，就抱怨家主， | 11And receiving it they murmured against the master of the house, |
| 12说：这些最后雇的人，不过工作了一个时辰，而你竟把他们与我们这整天受苦受热的，同等看待。 | 12Saying: These last have worked but one hour, and thou hast made them equal to us, that have borne the burden of the day and the heats. |
| 13他答复其中的一个说：朋友！我并没有亏负你，你不是和我议定了一个『德纳』吗？ | 13But he answering said to one of them: Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst thou not agree with me for a penny? |
| 14拿你的走罢！我愿意给最后来的和给你的一样。 | 14Take what is thine, and go thy way: I will also give to this last even as to thee. |
| 15难道不许我拿我所有的财物，行我所愿意的吗？或是因为我好，你就眼红吗？ | 15Or, is it not lawful for me to do what I will? is thy eye evil, because I am good? |
| 16这样，最后的，将成为最先的，最先的将会成为最后的。」 | 16So shall the last be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen. |
| 17耶稣上耶路撒冷去，暗暗把十二个门徒带到一边，在路上对他们说： | 17And Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples apart, and said to them: |
| 18「看，我们上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交于司祭和经师，他们要定他的死罪； | 18Behold we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man shall be betrayed to the chief priests and the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death. |
| 19并且要把他交给外邦人戏弄、鞭打、钉死；但第三天，他要复活。」 | 19And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to be mocked, and scourged, and crucified, and the third day he shall rise again. |
| 20那时，载伯德儿子的母亲，同自己的儿子前来，叩拜耶稣，请求他一件事。 | 20Then came to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee with her sons, adoring and asking something of him. |
| 21耶稣对她说：「你要什么？」她回答说：「你叫我的这两个儿子，在你王国内，一个坐在你的右边，一个坐在你的左边。」 | 21Who said to her: What wilt thou? She saith to him: Say that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left, in thy kingdom. |
| 22耶稣回答说：「你们不知道你们所求的是什么，你们能饮我将要饮的爵吗？」他们说：「我们能。」 | 22And Jesus answering, said: You know not what you ask. Can you drink the chalice that I shall drink? They say to him: We can. |
| 23耶稣对他们说：「我的爵你们固然要饮；但坐在右边或左边，不是我可以给的，而是我父给谁预备了，就给谁。」 | 23He saith to them: My chalice indeed you shall drink; but to sit on my right or left hand, is not mine to give to you, but to them for whom it is prepared by my Father. |
| 24那十个听了，就恼怒他们两兄弟。 | 24And the ten hearing it, were moved with indignation against the two brethren. |
| 25耶稣叫过他们来说：「你们知道：外邦人有首长主宰他们，有大臣管辖他们。 | 25But Jesus called them to him, and said: You know that the princes of the Gentiles lord it over them; and they that are the greater, exercise power upon them. |
| 26在你们中却不可这样；谁若愿意在你们中成为大的，就当作你们的仆役； | 26It shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be the greater among you, let him be your minister: |
| 27谁若愿意在你们中为首，就当作你们的奴仆。 | 27And he that will be first among you, shall be your servant. |
| 28就如人子来不是受服事，而是服事人，并交出自己的生命，为大众作赎价。」 | 28Even as the Son of man is not come to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a redemption for many. |
| 29他们由耶里哥出来时，有许多群众跟随耶稣。 | 29And when they went out from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. |
| 30有两个瞎子坐在路旁，听说耶稣路过，就喊叫说：「主，达味之子，可怜我们罢！」民众斥责他们， | 30And behold two blind men sitting by the way side, heard that Jesus passed by, and they cried out, saying: O Lord, thou son of David, have mercy on us. |
| 31叫他们不要作声；他们反而更喊叫说：「主，达味之子，可怜我们罢！」 | 31And the multitude rebuked them that they should hold their peace. But they cried out the more, saying: O Lord, thou son of David, have mercy on us. |
| 32耶稣就站住，叫过他们来，说：「你们愿意我给你们作什么？」 | 32And Jesus stood, and called them, and said: What will ye that I do to you? |
| 33他们回答说：「主，叫我们的眼睛开开罢！」 | 33They say to him: Lord, that our eyes be opened. |
| 34耶稣动了慈心，摸了摸他们的眼睛；他们就立刻看见了，也跟着他去了。 | 34And Jesus having compassion on them, touched their eyes. And immediately they saw, and followed him. |
