| 1「那时，天国好比十个童女，拿着自己的灯，出去迎接新郎。 | 1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride. |
| 2她们中五个是糊涂的，五个是明智的。 | 2And five of them were foolish, and five wise. |
| 3糊涂的拿了灯，却没有随身带油； | 3But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them: |
| 4而明智的拿了灯，并且在壶里带了油。 | 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with the lamps. |
| 5因为新郎迟延，她们都打盹睡着了。 | 5And the bridegroom tarrying, they all slumbered and slept. |
| 6半夜有人喊说：新郎来了，你们出来迎接罢！ | 6And at midnight there was a cry made: Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye forth to meet him. |
| 7那些童女遂都起来，装备她们的灯。 | 7Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. |
| 8糊涂的对明智的说：把你们的油，分些给我们罢！因为我们的灯快要灭了！ | 8And the foolish said to the wise: Give us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out. |
| 9明智的答说：怕为我们和你们都不够，更好你们到卖油的那里去，为自己买罢！ | 9The wise answered, saying: Lest perhaps there be not enough for us and for you, go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. |
| 10她们去买的时候，新郎到了；那准备好了的，就同他进去，共赴婚宴；门遂关上了。 | 10Now whilst they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready, went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. |
| 11末后，其余的童女也来了，说：主啊！主啊！给我们开门罢！ | 11But at last come also the other virgins, saying: Lord, Lord, open to us. |
| 12他却答说：我实在告诉你们：我不认识你们。 | 12But he answering said: Amen I say to you, I know you not. |
| 13所以，你们该醒寤，因为你们不知道那日子，也不知道那时辰。」 | 13Watch ye therefore, because you know not the day nor the hour. |
| 14「天国又如一个要远行的人，将自己的仆人叫来，把财产托付给他们： | 14For even as a man going into a far country, called his servants, and delivered to them his goods; |
| 15按照他们的才能，一个给了五个『塔冷通』，一个给了两个，一个给了一个；然后动身走了。 | 15And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to every one according to his proper ability: and immediately he took his journey. |
| 16那领了五个『塔冷通』的，立刻去用来营业，另外赚了五个。 | 16And he that had received the five talents, went his way, and traded with the same, and gained other five. |
| 17同样，那领了两个的，也赚了另外两个。 | 17And in like manner he that had received the two, gained other two. |
| 18但是，那领了一个的，却去掘开地，把主人的银子藏了。 | 18But he that had received the one, going his way digged into the earth, and hid his lord's money. |
| 19过了多时，仆人的主人回来了，便与他们算账。 | 19But after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reckoned with them. |
| 20那领了五个『塔冷通』的上前来，呈上另外五个『塔冷通』说：主啊！你曾交给我五个『塔冷通』，看，我赚了另外五个『塔冷通』。 | 20And he that had received the five talents coming, brought other five talents, saying: Lord, thou didst deliver to me five talents, behold I have gained other five over and above. |
| 21主人对他说：好！善良忠信的仆人，你既在少许事上忠信，我必委派你管理许多大事：进入你主人的福乐罢！ | 21His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. |
| 22那领了两个『塔冷通』的也前来说：主啊！你曾交给我两个『塔冷通』，看，我赚了另外两个『塔冷通』。 | 22And he also that had received the two talents came and said: Lord, thou deliveredst two talents to me: behold I have gained other two. |
| 23主人对他说：好！善良忠信的仆人！你既在少许事上忠信，我必委派你管理许多大事：进入你主人的福乐罢！ | 23His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. |
| 24随后，那领了一个『塔冷通』的也前来说：主啊！我原知道你是个刻薄的人，在你没有下种的地方收割，在你没有散布的地方聚敛。 | 24But he that had received the one talent, came and said: Lord, I know that thou art a hard man; thou reapest where thou hast not sown, and gatherest where thou hast not strewed. |
| 25因为我害怕，所以我去把你的『塔冷通』藏在地下；看，你的仍还给你。 | 25And being afraid I went and hid thy talent in the earth: behold here thou hast that which is thine. |
| 26主人回答说：可恶懒惰的仆人！你既知道：我在没有下种的地方收割，在没有散布的地方聚敛； | 26And his lord answering, said to him: Wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sow not, and gather where I have not strewed: |
| 27那么，你就该把我的银子，交给钱庄里的人，待我回来时，把我连本带利取回。 | 27Thou oughtest therefore to have committed my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received my own with usury. |
| 28所以，你们把这个『塔冷通』从他手中夺过来，给那有了十个『塔冷通』的， | 28Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that hath ten talents. |
| 29因为凡是有的，还要给他，叫他富裕；那没有的，连他所有的，也要由他手中夺去。 | 29For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: but from him that hath not, that also which he seemeth to have shall be taken away. |
| 30至于这无用的仆人，你们把他丢在外面的黑暗中，在那里必有哀号和切齿。」 | 30And the unprofitable servant cast ye out into the exterior darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
| 31「当人子在自己的光荣中，与众天使一同降来时，那时，他要坐在光荣的宝座上， | 31And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty. |
| 32一切的民族，都要聚在他面前；他要把他们彼此分开，如同牧人分开绵羊和山羊一样： | 32And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats: |
| 33把绵羊放在自己的右边，山羊在左边。 | 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. |
| 34那时，君王要对那些在他右边的说：我父所祝福的，你们来罢！承受自创世以来，给你们预备了的国度罢！ | 34Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. |
| 35因为我饿了，你们给了我吃的；我渴了，你们给了我喝的；我作客，你们收留了我； | 35For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in； |
| 36我赤身露体，你们给了我穿的；我患病，你们看顾了我；我在监里；你们来探望了我。 | 36Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. |
| 37那时，义人回答他说：主啊！我们什么时候见了你饥饿而供养了你，或口渴而给了你喝的？ | 37Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink? |
| 38我们什么时候见了你作客，而收留了你，或赤身露体而给了你穿的？ | 38And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and covered thee? |
| 39我们什么时候见你患病，或在监里而来探望过你？ | 39Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee? |
| 40君王便回答他们说：我实在告诉你们：凡你们对我这些最小兄弟中的一个所做的，就是对我做的。 | 40And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me. |
| 41然后他又对那些在左边的说：可咒骂的，离开我，到那给魔鬼和他的使者预备的永火里去罢！ | 41Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels. |
| 42因为我饿了，你们没有给我吃的；我渴了，你们没有给我喝的； | 42For I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink. |
| 43我作客，你们没有收留我；我赤身露体，你们没有给我穿的；我患病或在监里，你们没有来探望我。 | 43I was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you covered me not: sick and in prison, and you did not visit me. |
| 44那时，他们也要回答说：主啊！我们几时见了你饥饿，或口渴，或作客，或赤身露体，或有病，或坐监，而我们没有给你效劳？ | 44Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee? |
| 45那时，君王回答他们说：我实在告诉你们：凡你们没有给这些最小中的一个做的，便是没有给我做。 | 45Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me. |
| 46这些人要进入永罚，而那些义人却要进入永生。」 | 46And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting. |
