| 1上主训示梅瑟说： | 1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: |
| 2「你要制造两个喇叭，用银打成，用为召集会众，为迁移营幕。 | 2Make thee two trumpets of beaten silver, wherewith thou mayest call together the multitude when the camp is to be removed. |
| 3几时吹两个喇叭，全会众都应集合在会幕门口，来到你跟前。 | 3And when thou shalt sound the trumpets, all the multitude shall gather unto thee to the door of the tabernacle of the covenant. |
| 4若只吹一个喇叭，以色列的千夫长，作首领的应集合到你跟前。 | 4If thou sound but once, the princes and the heads of the multitude of Israel shall come to thee. |
| 5若吹紧急号，扎在东方的营就起程； | 5But if the sound of the trumpets be longer, and with interruptions, they that are on the east side, shall first go forward. |
| 6第二次吹紧急号时，扎在南方的营就起程：吹紧急号是为叫他们起程； | 6And at the second sounding and like noise of the trumpet, they who lie on the south side shall take up their tents. And after this manner shall the rest do, when the trumpets shall sound for a march. |
| 7但为召集会众，只吹号，不应紧急吹。 | 7But when the people is to be gathered together, the sound of the trumpets shall be plain, and they shall not make a broken sound. |
| 8亚郎的子孙作司祭的应吹号：这为你们世世代代是条永久的规定。 | 8And the sons of Aaron the priest shall sound the trumpets: and this shall be an ordinance for ever in your generations. |
| 9几时你们在本国要出去作战，攻打来侵的仇敌，应吹紧急号，使上主你们的天主，记得你们，救你们脱离仇敌。 | 9If you go forth to war out of your land against the enemies that fight against you, you shall sound aloud with the trumpets, and there shall be a remembrance of you before the Lord your God, that you may be delivered out of the hands of your enemies. |

10此外，在你们的庆日、节日、月朔之日，献全燔祭及和平祭时，还应吹号，使你们的天主记得你们：我是上主，你们的天主。」

10If at any time you shall have a banquet, and on your festival days, and on the first days of your months, you shall sound the trumpets over the holocausts, and the sacrifices of peace offerings, that they may be to you for a remembrance of your God. I am the Lord your God. |
| 11第二年二月二十日，云彩由会幕升起， | 11The second year, in the second month, the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle of the covenant. |
| 12以色列子民就从西乃旷野循序起程出发。以后云彩在帕兰旷野停住了。 | 12And the children of Israel marched by their troops from the desert of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan. |
| 13他们初次依照上主藉梅瑟所出的命令起程。 | 13And the first went forward according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses. |
| 14首先依队起程的，是犹大子孙的营旗，率领军队的，是阿米纳达布的儿子纳赫雄； | 14The sons of Juda by their troops: whose prince was Nahasson the son of Aminadab. |
| 15率领依撒加尔子孙支派军队的，是族阿尔的儿子乃塔乃耳； | 15In the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince was Nathanael the son of Suar. |
| 16率领则步隆子孙支派军队的，是厄隆的儿子厄里雅布。 | 16In the tribe of Zabulon, the prince was Eliab the son of Helon. |
| 17拆下帐幕后，革尔雄的子孙和默辣黎的子孙，就抬着帐幕起程出发。 | 17And the tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gerson and Merari set forward, bearing it. |
| 18以后依队出发的，是勒乌本的营旗，率领军队的，是舍德乌尔的儿子厄里族尔； | 18And the sons of Ruben also marched, by their troops and ranks, whose prince was Helisur the son of Sedeur. |
| 19率领西默盎子孙支派军队的，是族黎沙待的儿子舍路米耳； | 19And in the tribe of Simeon, the prince was Salamiel the son of Surisaddai. |
| 20率领加得子孙支派军队的，是勒乌耳的儿子厄里雅撒夫。 | 20And in the tribe of Cad, the prince was Eliasaph the son of Duel. |
| 21此后刻哈特人抬着圣所之物起程；当他们达到时，人应已竖起帐幕。 | 21Then the Caathites also marched carrying the sanctuary. So long was the tabernacle carried, till they came to the place of setting it up. |
| 22以后依队出发的，是厄弗辣因子孙的营旗，率领军队的，是阿米胡得的儿子厄里沙玛； | 22The sons of Ephraim also moved their camp by their troops, in whose army the prince was Elisama the son of Ammiud. |
| 23率领默纳协子孙支派军队的，是培达族尔的儿子加默里耳； | 23And in the tribe of the sons of Manasses, the prince was Gamaliel the son of Phadassur. |
| 24率领本雅明子孙支派军队的，是基德敖尼的儿子阿彼丹。 | 24And in the tribe of Benjamin, the prince was Abidan the son of Gedeon. |
| 25以后依队出发的，是作全营后卫的丹子孙的营旗，率领军队的，是阿米沙待的儿子阿希厄则尔； | 25The last of all the camp marched the sons of Dan by their troops, in whose army the prince was Ahiezer the son of Ammisaddai. |
| 26率领阿协尔子孙支派军队的，是敖革兰的儿子帕革厄耳； | 26And in the tribe of the sons of Aser, the prince was Phegiel the son of Ochran. |
| 27率领纳斐塔里子孙支派军队的，是厄南的儿子阿希辣。 | 27And in the tribe of the sons of Nephtali, the prince was Ahira the son of Enan. |
| 28这是以色列子民出发时，依队起程的次序。 | 28This was the order of the camps, and marches of the children of Israel by their troops, when they set forward. |
| 29梅瑟对自己的岳父，米德杨人勒乌耳的儿子曷巴布说：「我们正要起程往上主曾说：『我要给你们的那地方』去；你同我们一起去罢！我们必要好待你，因为上主对以色列许下了幸福。」 | 29And Moses said to Hobab the son of Raguel the Madianite, his kinsman: We are going towards the place which the Lord will give us: come with us, that we may do thee good: for the Lord hath promised good things to Israel. |
| 30曷巴布回答他说：「我不去，我要回到故乡我的老家去。」 | 30But he answered him: I will not go with thee, but I will return to my country, wherein I was born. |
| 31梅瑟说：「请你不要离开我们！因为你知道我们在旷野安营的地方，你要给我们当向导。 | 31And he said: Do not leave us: for thou knowest in what places we should encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be our guide. |
| 32你若同我们一起去，我们必使你分享上主要赐与我们的幸福。」 | 32And if thou comest with us, we will give thee what is the best of the riches which the Lord shall deliver to us. |
| 33他们就由上主的山起程出发，行了三天的路程；三天的路程中，上主的约柜走在他们的前面，为他们寻求休息的地方。 | 33So they marched from the mount of the Lord three days' journey, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them, for three days providing a place for the camp. |
| 34白天他们移营前行时，上主的云彩常在他们头上。 | 34The cloud also of the Lord was over them by day when they marched. |
| 35当约柜起行时，梅瑟就说：「上主，请你起来，使你的仇敌溃散，使怀恨你的由你面前逃走。」 | 35And when the ark was lifted up, Moses said: Arise, O Lord, and let thy enemies be scattered, and let them that hate thee, flee from before thy face. |
| 36在约柜停留时，他就说：「上主，请归来，住在以色列千家万户中」。 | 36And when it was set down, he said: Return, O Lord, to the multitude of the host of Israel. |
