¹上主训示梅瑟说：	¹And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
²「你告诉亚郎说：你安放灯盏时，要使七盏灯光，光照灯台的前面。」	²Speak to Aaron, and thou shalt say to him: When thou shalt place the seven lamps, let the candlestick be set up on the south side. Give orders therefore that the lamps look over against the north, towards the table of the leaves of proposition, over against that part shall they give light, towards which the candlestick looketh.
³亚郎就照样做了：安放了灯盏，使灯光照耀灯台的前面，如上主对梅瑟所吩咐的。	³And Aaron did so, and he put the lamps upon the candlestick, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
⁴这灯台是用金子打成的，从座到花朵都是打成的；梅瑟是照上主指示的式样，制造了灯台。	⁴Now this was the work of the candlestick, it was of beaten gold, both the shaft in the middle, and all that came out of both sides of the branches: according to the pattern which the Lord had shewn to Moses, so he made the candlestick.
⁵上主训示梅瑟说：	⁵And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
⁶「你由以色列子民中选出肋未人，并要洁净他们。	⁶Take the Levites out of the midst of the children of Israel, and thou shalt purify them,
⁷为洁净他们，你应这样做：将取洁水洒在他们身上，命他们用刀剃全身，然后洗自己的衣服，使自己洁净。	⁷According to this rite: Let them be sprinkled with the water of purification, and let them shave all the hairs of their flesh. And when they shall have washed their garments, and are cleansed,
⁸以后，他们应带一只公牛犊和同献的素祭，即油调的细面；你应另带一头公牛犊，为作赎罪祭；	⁸They shall take an ox of the herd, and for the offering thereof fine flour tempered with oil: and thou shalt take another ox of the herd for a sin offering:
⁹领肋未人到会幕前，并召集以色列子民全会众。	⁹And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the covenant, calling together all the multitude of the children of Israel:
¹⁰领肋未人到上主面前以后，以色列子民将自己的手放在肋未人身上，	¹⁰And when the Levites are before the Lord, the children of Israel shall put their hands upon them:
¹¹亚郎就以摇礼把肋未人献于上主面前，当作以色列子民的献仪：这样，他们才可以行服事上主的事。	¹¹And Aaron shall offer the Levites, as a gift in the sight of the Lord from the children of Israel, that they may serve in his ministry.
¹²以后肋未人应按手在两头公牛犊头上：一只你要献给上主作赎罪祭，一只作全燔祭，为肋未人赎罪。	¹²The Levites also shall put their hands upon the heads of the oxen, of which thou shalt sacrifice one for sin, and the other for a holocaust to the Lord, to pray for them.
¹³你应使肋未人站在亚郎和他的儿子们面前，以摇礼把他们献给上主。	¹³And thou shalt set the Levites in the sight of Aaron and of his sons, and shalt consecrate them being offered to the Lord,
¹⁴为此，你要由以色列子民中分出肋未人来，使他们属于我。	¹⁴And shalt separate them from the midst of the children of Israel, to be mine.
¹⁵此后，肋未人才可进入会幕服务。为此你应洁净他们，以摇礼奉献他们，	¹⁵And afterwards they shall enter into the tabernacle of the covenant, to serve me. And thus shalt thou purify and consecrate them for an oblation of the Lord: for as a gift they were given me by the children of Israel.
¹⁶因为他们是以色列子民中完全献与我的人；我使他们归于我。以代替以色列子民中一切开胎的首生，	¹⁶I have taken them instead of the firstborn that open every womb in Israel,
¹⁷因为以色列子民中的一切首生，不拘是人是兽，都属于我；自从我在埃及地击杀了一切首生的那一日起，我就将他们祝圣归属于我。	¹⁷For all the firstborn of the children of Israel, both of men and of beasts, are mine. From the day that I slew every firstborn in the land of Egypt, have I sanctified them to myself:
¹⁸我取了肋未人，替代以色列子民中的一切首生；	¹⁸And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel:
¹⁹我由以色列子民中委派了肋未人，作亚郎和他儿子们的属下，为替代以色列子民在会幕内服务，为以色列子民赎罪，免得以色列子民因接近圣所而遭受灾祸。」	¹⁹And have delivered them for a gift to Aaron and his sons out of the midst of the people, to serve me for Israel in the tabernacle of the covenant, and to pray for them, lest there should be a plague among the people, if they should presume to approach unto my sanctuary.
²⁰梅瑟、亚郎以及以色列子民全会众，对肋未人就如此做了；上主关于肋未人怎样吩咐了梅瑟，以色列子民就对他们怎样做了。	²⁰And Moses and Aaron and all the multitude of the children of Israel did with the Levites all that the Lord had commanded Moses:
²¹肋未人洁净了自己，洗了自己的衣服，亚郎遂以摇礼把他们献在上主面前，亚郎并为他们赎了罪，使他们洁净。	²¹And they were purified, and washed their garments. And Aaron lifted them up in the sight of the Lord, and prayed for them,
²²此后，肋未人才进入会幕内，在亚郎和他的儿子们面前执行自己的职务。上主关于肋未人怎样吩咐了，梅瑟就对他们怎样做了。	²²That being purified they might go into the tabernacle of the covenant to do their services before Aaron and his sons. As the Lord had commanded Moses touching the Levites, so was it done.
²³上主训示梅瑟说：	²³And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
²⁴「这是关于肋未人的法令：由二十五岁以上，应来服役，在会幕内工作；	²⁴This is the law of the Levites: From twenty-five years old and upwards, they shall go in to minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.
²⁵到了五十岁就退休，不再服役；	²⁵And when they shall have accomplished the fiftieth year of their age, they shall cease to serve:
²⁶以后在会幕内辅助自己的兄弟照管该遵守的事，自己却不必服劳役。关于肋未人的职务，你应这样安排。」	²⁶And they shall be the ministers of their brethren in the tabernacle of the covenant, to keep the things that are committed to their care, but not to do the works. Thus shalt thou order the Levites touching their charge.
