圣咏集	Psalms
¹我的灵魂，请你向上主颂赞！上主我的天主，你伟大无限，你以尊贵威严作你的衣冠：	¹Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, and call upon his name: declare his deeds among the Gentiles.
²身披光明，好像外氅，展开苍天，相似棚帐，	²Sing to him, yea sing praises to him: relate all his wondrous works.
³在水上建筑你的宫殿，造了云彩，作你的车辇，驾御着风翼，驰骋直前；	³Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
⁴发出暴风，作你的使团，你以火燄，作你的随员。	⁴Seek ye the Lord, and be strengthened: seek his face evermore.
⁵你奠定大地于基础之上，你使大地永远不再动荡；	⁵Remember his marvellous works which he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth.
⁶以汪洋作氅衣把大地遮盖，又以大水把群山峻岭掩埋。	⁶O ye seed of Abraham his servant; ye sons of Jacob his chosen.
⁷你一呵叱，大水即逃避，你一鸣雷，大水即惊退。	⁷He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
⁸峻岭向上突出，山谷向下沉落，各个都停在你那指定的处所。	⁸He hath remembered his covenant for ever: the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
⁹你划定了界限，都不越过，免得大水再把大地淹没。	⁹Which he made to Abraham; and his oath to Isaac:
¹⁰你使水泉成为溪川，蜿蜒长流于群山间，	¹⁰And he appointed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting testament:
¹¹供给各种走兽水喝，使野驴也得以解渴。	¹¹Saying: To thee will I give the land of Chanaan, the lot of your inheritance.
¹²天上飞鸟，在水边宿卧，在枝叶丛中不断鸣叫。	¹²When they were but a small number: yea very few, and sojourners therein:
¹³你从高楼宫殿上，灌溉山地，以你出产的果实，饱饫普世；	¹³And they passed from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people.
¹⁴你使青草和植物生出，喂养牲畜，为给人服务。又使土地产生出五谷，	¹⁴He suffered no man to hurt them: and he reproved kings for their sakes.
¹⁵美酒，人饮了舒畅心神，膏油，人用来涂面润身，面饼，人吃了增强心神。	¹⁵Touch ye not my anointed: and do no evil to my prophets.
¹⁶上主的乔木饱餐水泽，黎巴嫩香柏，主手所植。	¹⁶And he called a famine upon the land: and he broke in pieces all the support of bread.
¹⁷鸟类在那里垒窝筑巢，鹤群以树梢为家安卧。	¹⁷He sent a man before them: Joseph, who was sold for a slave.
¹⁸高山崚岭作羚羊的洞府，绝壁岩石作野兔的居处。	¹⁸They humbled his feet in fetters: the iron pierced his soul,
¹⁹你造有月亮以定节季，太阳自知向西边沉坠。	¹⁹Until his word came. The word of the Lord inflamed him.
²⁰你造了黑暗，便有了夜晚，林中的野兽遂四出狂窜。	²⁰The king sent, and he released him: the ruler of the people, and he set him at liberty.
²¹少壮的狮子怒吼觅食，向天主要求食物充饥；	²¹He made him master of his house, and ruler of all his possession.
²²太阳升起的时候，牠们各自逃避，回到自己的洞穴，安然卧下休息；	²²That he might instruct his princes as himself, and teach his ancients wisdom.
²³于是人们外出谋生，各去劳动，直到黄昏。	²³And Israel went into Egypt: and Jacob was a sojourner in the land of Cham.
²⁴上主，你的化工，是何其浩繁，全是你以智慧所创办，你的受造物遍地充满。	²⁴And he increased his people exceedingly: and strengthened them over their enemies,
²⁵看，汪洋大海，一望无际，其中水族，不可数计，大小生物，浮游不息。	²⁵He turned their heart to hate his people: and to deal deceitfully with his servants.
²⁶在那里有舟有船，往来航行，还有你造的鳄鱼，戏游其中。	²⁶He sent Moses his servant: Aaron the man whom he had chosen.
²⁷这一切生物都瞻仰着你，希望你按时给牠们饮食。	²⁷He gave them power to shew his signs, and his wonders in the land of Cham.
²⁸你一赐给牠们，牠们便会收集，你一伸你的手，牠们便得饱食。	²⁸He sent darkness, and made it obscure: and grieved not his words.
²⁹你若隐藏你的面容，牠们便要恐惧，你若停止牠们呼吸，牠们就要死去，就再回到牠们所由出的灰土里去。	²⁹He turned their waters into blood, and destroyed their fish.
³⁰你一嘘气，万物创成，你使地面，更新复兴。	³⁰Their land brought forth frogs, in the inner chambers of their kings.
³¹愿上主的光荣永世无穷，愿上主喜乐自己的化工！	³¹He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies and sciniphs in all their coasts.
³²他一垂视大地，大地抖颤，他一触摸群山，群山冒烟。	³²He gave them hail for rain, a burning fire in the land.
³³只要我活着，我要歌颂上主，只要我存在，我要咏赞上主。	³³And he destroyed their vineyards and their fig trees: and he broke in pieces the trees of their coasts.
³⁴愿我的颂辞使他乐意，我要常在上主内欢喜。	³⁴He spoke, and the locust came, and the bruchus, of which there was no number.
³⁵愿罪人由地上灭迹，恶人不再存留人世！我的灵魂，颂赞上主！亚肋路亚。	³⁵And they devoured all the grass in their land, and consumed all the fruit of their ground.
³⁶	³⁶And he slew all the firstborn in their land: the firstfruits of all their labour.
³⁷	³⁷And he brought them out with silver and gold: and there was not among their tribes one that was feeble.
³⁸	³⁸Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them lay upon them.
³⁹	³⁹He spread a cloud for their protection, and fire to give them light in the night.
⁴⁰	⁴⁰They asked, and the quail came: and he filled them with the bread of heaven.
⁴¹	⁴¹He opened the rock, and waters flowed: rivers ran down in the dry land.
⁴²	⁴²Because he remembered his holy word, which he had spoken to his servant Abraham.
⁴³	⁴³And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness.
⁴⁴	⁴⁴And he gave them the lands of the Gentiles: and they possessed the labours of the people:
⁴⁵	⁴⁵That they might observe his justifications, and seek after his law.
