圣咏集	Psalms
¹请众感谢上主，呼号他的圣名，请众在万民中，宣扬他的功行。	¹Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
²请众歌颂他，咏赞他，传述他的奇工妙化。	²Who shall declare the powers of the Lord? who shall set forth all his praises?
³请你们以他的圣名为光荣，愿寻求上主的人，乐满心中。	³Blessed are they that keep judgment, and do justice at all times.
⁴请众寻求上主和他的德能，要时常不断追求他的仪容。	⁴Remember us, O Lord, in the favour of thy people: visit us with thy salvation.
⁵请你们记念他所行的奇蹟，他的异事和他口中的判词。	⁵That we may see the good of thy chosen, that we may rejoice in the joy of thy nation: that thou mayst be praised with thy inheritance.
⁶天主的仆人亚巴郎的后裔，上主拣选的雅各伯的儿子！	⁶We have sinned with our fathers: we have acted unjustly, we have wrought iniquity.
⁷他是上主，是我们的天主，他的统治遍及普世各处。	⁷Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt: they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies: And they provoked to wrath going up to the sea, even the Red Sea.
⁸他永远怀念着自己的盟约，直到万代不忘自己的许诺；	⁸And he saved them for his own name's sake: that he might make his power known.
⁹就是向亚巴郎所立的盟约，向依撒格所起的誓诺，	⁹And he rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up: and he led them through the depths, as in a wilderness.
¹⁰为雅各伯立为不移的规条，向以色列立为永远的盟约，	¹⁰And he saved them from the hand of them that hated them: and he redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
¹¹说：「我必将客纳罕地赐给你，作你们产业的一分子。」	¹¹And the water covered them that afflicted them: there was not one of them left.
¹²当他们在那地侨居时，寥寥无几而人数极稀，	¹²And they believed his words: and they sang his praises.
¹³从这一族系迁徙到另一族系，从这一国家飘流到另一地域。	¹³They had quickly done, they forgot his works: and they waited not for his counsels.
¹⁴他不但不让人把他们压迫，且为了他们还把众王责斥，	¹⁴And they coveted their desire in the desert: and they tempted God in the place without water.
¹⁵说：「你们决不可触犯我的受傅者，你们切不可把我的先知伤害！」	¹⁵And he gave them their request: and sent fulness into their souls.
¹⁶以后他使飢荒笼罩那地，断绝了食粮的任何供给。	¹⁶And they provoked Moses in the camp, Aaron the holy one of the Lord.
¹⁷在他们以前他将一人遣去，就是那被出卖为奴隶的若瑟。	¹⁷The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan: and covered the congregation of Abiron.
¹⁸人以铐镣紧扣他的双脚，他的颈项也带上了铁锁，	¹⁸And a fire was kindled in their congregation: the flame burned the wicked.
¹⁹直到他所讲的那预言实现，上主的话才在他身上应验。	¹⁹They made also a calf in Horeb: and they adored the graven thing.
²⁰君王遂派人释放了他，众民的首长解救了他。	²⁰And they changed their glory into the likeness of a calf that eateth grass.
²¹且立他为皇家的宰相，掌管一切皇产的侯王，	²¹They forgot God, who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,
²²让他随意指导通国的王侯，以其智谋教训通国的长老。	²²Wondrous works in the land of Cham: terrible things in the Red Sea.
²³从此以色列进入了埃及，雅各伯也就在含邦作客。	²³And he said that he would destroy them: had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach: To turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
²⁴上主使他的百姓昌旺，比他们的仇敌更强壮。	²⁴And they set at nought the desirable land. They believed not his word,
²⁵他转变他们的心，仇恨他的百姓，让他们阴险残酷对待他的仆人。	²⁵And they murmured in their tents: they hearkened not to the voice of the Lord.
²⁶他打发他的仆人梅瑟和所拣选的亚郎，	²⁶And he lifted up his hand over them: to overthrow them in the desert;
²⁷叫二人对他们将奇蹟和异事行于含邦。	²⁷And to cast down their seed among the nations, and to scatter them in the countries.
²⁸上主命降黑暗。立时天昏地暗，然而埃及人却反抗他的圣言。	²⁸They also were initiated to Beelphegor: and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
²⁹他使他们的水都变成血，将他们的鱼类全部杀灭。	²⁹And they provoked him with their inventions: and destruction was multiplied among them.
³⁰虾蟆在他们的土内蕃生，跳进了他们众王的内宫。	³⁰Then Phinees stood up, and pacified him: and the slaughter ceased.
³¹他一发命，苍蝇便成群飞来，蚊蚋也在他们的各地徘徊，	³¹And it was reputed to him unto justice, to generation and generation for evermore.
³²代替时雨，为他们降下冰雹，在他们全国各地雷电闪烁，	³²They provoked him also at the waters of contradiction: and Moses was afflicted for their sakes:
³³打坏了他们的葡萄和无花果树，又击倒了他们国内的一切树木。	³³Because they exasperated his spirit. And he distinguished with his lips.
³⁴他一发命令蝗虫飞遍，蚱蜢的数目，无法计算，	³⁴They did not destroy the nations of which the Lord spoke unto them.
³⁵吃光他们地里所有的青草，吞尽他们田间所有的果。	³⁵And they were mingled among the heathens, and learned their works:
³⁶他打击境内所有的头胎，将强壮的长子全部杀害。	³⁶And served their idols, and it became a stumblingblock to them.
³⁷他领出满携金银的以色列，全支派中没有一个人残缺。	³⁷And they sacrificed their sons, and their daughters to devils.
³⁸以色列出走，埃及人无不欢愉，因为那实在叫他们战兢恐惧。	³⁸And they shed innocent blood: the blood of their sons and of their daughters which they sacrificed to the idols of Chanaan. And the land was polluted with blood,
³⁹他展布云彩，用以掩护遮阴，他竖立火柱，为在夜间照明。	³⁹And was defiled with their works: and they went aside after their own inventions.
⁴⁰他们一恳求，他就送来鹌鹑，用天降的食粮，饱饫了他们。	⁴⁰And the Lord was exceedingly angry with his people: and he abhorred his inheritance.
⁴¹他辟开了岩石，使水涌出，在沙漠中好像江河流注。	⁴¹And he delivered them into the hands of the nations: and they that hated them had dominion over them.
⁴²因为他没有把他神圣的许诺遗忘，并且也常怀念着他的仆人亚巴郎。	⁴²And their enemies afflicted them: and they were humbled under their hands:
⁴³他引百姓欢乐地离去，他率领选民欣然出走。	⁴³Many times did he deliver them. But they provoked him with their counsel: and they were brought low by their iniquities.
⁴⁴给他们划分了异民的领土，使他们占领了外人的财富，	⁴⁴And he saw when they were in tribulation: and he heard their prayer.
⁴⁵为叫他们遵行他的诫命，恪守他的命令。亚肋路亚。	⁴⁵And he was mindful of his covenant: and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
⁴⁶	⁴⁶And he gave them unto mercies, in the sight of all those that had made them captives.
⁴⁷	⁴⁷Save us, O Lord, our God: and gather us from among nations: That we may give thanks to thy holy name, and may glory in thy praise.
⁴⁸	⁴⁸Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say: So be it, so be it.
