| 1亚肋路亚！请你们向上主赞颂，因为他是美善宽仁，他的仁慈永远常存。 | 1Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. |
| 2谁能说完上主的大能化工。谁能述尽上主的一切光荣？ | 2Let them say so that have been redeemed by the Lord, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy: and gathered out of the countries. |
| 3遵守诫命的人真是有福！时时行义的人，真是有福！ | 3From the rising and the setting of the sun, from the north and from the sea. |
| 4上主，求你为了你对百姓的仁慈，记念我，又求你按照你施救的扶助，看顾我， | 4They wandered in a wilderness, in a place without water: they found not the way of a city for their habitation. |
| 5使我享见你选民的福乐，因你百姓的欢笑而欢笑；使我因你的产业而自豪。 | 5They were hungry and thirsty: their soul fainted in them. |
| 6我们和我们的祖先都犯过罪，都曾为非作歹而都无恶不为： | 6And they cried to the Lord in their tribulation: and he delivered them out of their distresses. |
| 7我们的祖先在埃及的时期，对你奇蹟的意义总不领会，也总不怀念你众多的恩惠，且在红海畔将至高者违背。 | 7And he led them into the right way: that they might go to a city of habitation. |
| 8但他为了自己的名，仍然救了他们。这是为了彰显他自己的神威大能。 | 8Let the mercies of the Lord give glory to him: and his wonderful works to the children of men. |
| 9他一呵叱红海，红海立即干涸，领他们走过海底，像走过沙漠。 | 9For he hath satisfied the empty soul, and hath filled the hungry soul with good things. |
| 10救他们摆脱仇恨者的压迫，从敌人的手中将他们救回。 | 10Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death: bound in want and in iron. |
| 11海水却淹没了他们的敌人，敌人连一个人也没有留存。 | 11Because they had exasperated the words of God: and provoked the counsel of the most High: |
| 12他们才相信了他的诺言，高声歌颂了对他的颂赞。 | 12And their heart was humbled with labours: they were weakened, and their was none to help them. |
| 13他们很快就忘了上主的作为，他们不再坚持顺从他的旨意， | 13Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction: and he delivered them out of their distresses. |
| 14遂在旷野中放纵贪欲，在荒芜之地试探天主。 | 14And he brought them out of darkness, and the shadow of death; and broke their bonds in sunder. |
| 15上主虽满足了他们的贪求，却使他们的肚腹发生毒瘤。 | 15Let the mercies of the Lord give glory to him, and his wonderful works to the children of men. |
| 16他们在营中竟对梅瑟起了嫉妒，对天主的圣者亚郎也起了嫉妒。 | 16Because he hath broken gates of brass, and burst the iron bars. |
| 17地裂开口吞下了达堂，掩盖了阿彼兰的同党。 | 17He took them out of the way of their iniquity: for they were brought low for their injustices. |
| 18有烈火在他们集会中燃起，火焰就把所有的恶徒焚毁。 | 18Their soul abhorred all manner of meat: and they drew nigh even to the gates of death. |
| 19他们在曷勒布制造了牛犊，竟崇拜了金铸的一个神偶； | 19And they cried to the Lord in their affliction: and he delivered them out of their distresses. |
| 20将自己的光荣天主，变成了吃草的牛犊； | 20He sent his word, and healed them: and delivered them from their destructions. |
| 21竟将拯救自己的天主忘记：他曾在埃及地显示了奇事， | 21Let the mercies of the Lord give glory to him: and his wonderful works to the children of men. |
| 22他也曾在含邦施行过灵蹟，他也曾在红海发显过奇异。 | 22And let them sacrifice the sacrifice of praise: and declare his works with joy. |
| 23若非他拣选的梅瑟出场，站立在当地裂口的前方，挽回他存心灭绝的怒浪，他早下令全将他们灭亡。 | 23They that go down to the sea in ships, doing business in the great waters: |
| 24他们还轻视了福地乐土，对上主的诺言不肯信取； | 24These have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep. |
| 25在自己帐幕内抱怨怀恨，不愿意听从上主的声音。 | 25He said the word, and there arose a storm of wind: and the waves thereof were lifted up. |
| 26上主于是向他们举手起誓，要在旷野使他们丧身倒毙； | 26They mount up to the heavens, and they go down to the depths: their soul pined away with evils. |
| 27要将他们的子孙分散异邦，要使他们在大地各处流亡。 | 27They were troubled, and reeled like a drunken man; and all their wisdom was swallowed up. |
| 28此后他们归依巴耳培敖耳，还分食祭祀过死神的祭品。 | 28And they cried to the Lord in their affliction: and he brought them out of their distresses. |
| 29又作恶犯罪触怒了上主，他忽降灾祸把他们惩处； | 29And he turned the storm into a breeze: and its waves were still. |
| 30丕乃哈斯奋起调停，这灾祸才止息平定。 | 30And they rejoiced because they were still: and he brought them to the haven which they wished for. |
| 31这确算是他的功勋，世世代代感念不尽。 | 31Let the mercies of the Lord give glory to him, and his wonderful works to the children of men. |
| 32此后，他们在默黎巴水畔激怒上主，为了他们的原故，梅瑟也连累受苦； | 32And let them exalt him in the church of the people: and praise him in the chair of the ancients. |
| 33因他们使他精神苦闷，他唇舌说话未加谨慎。 | 33He hath turned rivers into a wilderness: and the sources of water into dry ground: |
| 34上主命他们消灭异民，他们却没有听命履行， | 34A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. |
| 35反而同异民混杂来往，学会他们的不良习尚， | 35He hath turned a wilderness into pools of water, and a dry land into water springs. |
| 36竟崇拜了他们的偶像，偶像成了他们的罗网。 | 36And hath placed there the hungry; and they made a city for their habitation. |
| 37他们竟杀了自己的儿女，把他们奉献给邪魔恶鬼， | 37And they sowed fields, and planted vineyards: and they yielded fruit of birth. |
| 38倾流了无罪者的血，就是自己儿女的血，奉献给客纳罕的木偶，那地就被流血所玷污。 | 38And he blessed them, and they were multiplied exceedingly: and their cattle he suffered not to decrease. |
| 39他们因自己的作为，全无廉耻，他们因自己的恶行，行同娼妓。 | 39Then they were brought to be few: and they were afflicted through the trouble of evils and sorrow. |
| 40为此，上主向百姓大发愤怒，并对自己的人民憎恨厌恶； | 40Contempt was poured forth upon their princes: and he caused them to wander where there was no passing, and out of the way. |
| 41把他们交在异民的手内，让恼恨他们的人来主宰， | 41And he helped the poor out of poverty: and made him families like a flock of sheep. |
| 42为他们的仇人所虐待，在他们的手下受迫害。 | 42The just shall see, and shall rejoice, and all iniquity shall stop their mouth. |
| 43上主曾多次拯救他们，但他们仍是抗不从命，陷于自己罪恶的深坑。 | 43Who is wise, and will keep these things: and will understand the mercies of the Lord? |
| 44上主听到了他们的哀鸣，又垂顾了他们受的灾情， | 44 |
| 45忆起了他自己恩待他们的盟约，怜悯了他们，只因他的慈爱太多。 | 45 |
| 46使他们在俘掳他们的人前，成为自己慈爱怜悯的因缘。 | 46 |
| 47上主，我们的天主，求你拯救我们，由异民召回我们重逢，为赞美你的圣名，并以赞美你为光荣。 | 47 |
| 48愿上主以色列的天主，从永远到永远受赞美！愿全体百姓齐声唱说：阿们，亚肋路亚。 | 48 |
