| 1达味的训导诗，避居山洞时的祷词。 | 1Hear, O Lord, my prayer: give ear to my supplication in thy truth: hear me in thy justice. |
| 2我高声向上主呼求，我高声向天主求助。 | 2And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight no man living shall be justified. |
| 3我向他倾吐我的愁苦，我向他陈诉我的忧虑。 | 3For the enemy hath persecuted my soul: he hath brought down my life to the earth. He hath made me to dwell in darkness as those that have been dead of old: |
| 4当我精神愁苦的时候，惟有你知悉我的路途。在我行走的道路中；他们给我设下陷阱。 | 4And my spirit is in anguish within me: my heart within me is troubled. |
| 5我向右观察细看，没有一个熟悉我的人！没有一人我可投奔，没有一人为我操心。 | 5I remembered the days of old, I meditated on all thy works: I meditated upon the works of thy hands. |
| 6上主，我今呼号说：你是我的避难所，在这活人的地方，你就是我的福爵。 | 6I stretched forth my hands to thee: my soul is as earth without water unto thee. |
| 7求你倾听我的哀号，因我十分可怜无靠，求你救我脱离迫害我的人，因他们是比我强悍的人。 | 7Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit hath fainted away. Turn not away thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. |
| 8求你引领我出离监牢，好让我赞美你的名号。义人前呼后拥欢迎我，因为你大量恩待了我。 | 8Cause me to hear thy mercy in the morning; for in thee have I hoped. Make the way known to me, wherein I should walk: for I have lifted up my soul to thee. |
| 9 | 9Deliver me from my enemies, O Lord, to thee have I fled: |
| 10 | 10Teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God. Thy good spirit shall lead me into the right land: |
| 11 | 11For thy name's sake, O Lord, thou wilt quicken me in thy justice. Thou wilt bring my soul out of trouble: |
| 12 | 12And in thy mercy thou wilt destroy my enemies. And thou wilt cut off all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant. |
