| 1你这在至高者护佑下居住的人，你这在全能者荫庇下居住的人， | 1A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day. |
| 2请向上主说：「我的避难所，我的碉堡，我的天主，我向你投靠。」 | 2It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High. |
| 3他必救你脱离猎户的缧絏，他必救你脱免害人的瘟疫。 | 3To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night: |
| 4他以自己的羽毛掩护你，又叫你往他的翼下逃避：他的忠信是盾牌和铠衣。 | 4Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp. |
| 5你不必怕黑夜惊人的颤栗，也不必怕白天乱飞的箭矢， | 5For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice. |
| 6黑暗中流行的瘟疫，正午毒害人的疠疾。 | 6O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep. |
| 7在你身旁虽倒毙一千，在你右边虽跌仆一万，疫疾却到不了你身边。 | 7The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things. |
| 8然而你亲眼要观临，要见到恶人的报应。 | 8When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever: |
| 9你既知道上主是你的避难所，你就该以至高者为你的碉堡； | 9But thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore. |
| 10灾殃不会走近你的身边，祸患也不临近你的帐幔。 | 10For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. |
| 11因为他必为你委派自己的天使，在你行走的每条道路上保护你。 | 11But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy. |
| 12他们把你托在自己的手掌，不使你的脚在石头上碰伤。 | 12My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me. |
| 13你可经过在狮子和毒蛇身上，你可践踏在猛狮和毒龙身上。 | 13The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus. |
| 14上主说：「因为他依恋我，我必拯救他，他承认我的名，我必保护他。 | 14They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God. |
| 15他若呼求我，我必应允，他若有困苦，我必偕同他，我必拯救他，也必光荣他。 | 15They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated, |
| 16我必要使他得享长寿，必让他看到我的救赎。」 | 16That they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him. |
