| 1夜间我在床上，寻觅我心爱的；我寻觅，却没有找着。 | 1In my bed by night I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, and found him not. |

5寓意 第二幕分两场：第一场（2:8-16）又描写新郎通知自己的爱卿，恩宠的时期已临近。当时新娘还关在屋内（9节），或如鸽子隐居在岩石隙中（14节），即谓还在充军之地。新郎请她离开巴比伦回归圣地。但因有「狐狸」──即临居的敌人，如撒玛黎雅、厄东、阿孟、摩阿布等民族──毁坏「葡萄园」巴力斯坦，敌对回国的人，因此以民大部份还犹疑不决，不敢回归圣地（厄上4:2; 厄下2:19; 3:34）新娘所祈求的，是愿天主重新与自己的百姓结约，居住在「百合花」，即选民中间。见伪经「厄斯德拉卷四」5:23, 24。第二场（2:17-3:5）描绘新娘（以民）重新所受的试探。她的净配好似又离开了她。诗人在此以寓言描写『厄上下』所记以民所处的环境。第一批选民回到圣地以后，因遭遇困难，多半灰心失望，就忽略了宗教的义务，尤其忽略了重建圣殿的大业（盖1; 匝8:6-17）。在困难中，新娘再求天主顾念给亚巴郎所应许的恩赐（17节 ; 创15）。在「城」里，即在耶路撒冷城内。城内的「卫兵」似乎指当时征服圣地的波斯国士兵。她以悔改的心再找着她的爱人──天主，便领他到「母亲家」及「内室」，即新建圣殿的圣所内；在那里将自己奉献给他，为永远作他忠信的净配。 |
