| 1我又举目观看，望见有一飞卷。 | 1And I turned and lifted up my eyes: and I saw, and behold a volume flying. |
| 2他问我说：「你看见了什么？」我说：「我见一本飞卷，长二十肘，宽十肘。」 | 2And he said to me: What seest thou? And I said: I see a volume flying: the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. |
| 3他对我说：「这是向全地面散发的诅咒：凡偷窃的，必要按这卷所记载的被除掉；凡起假誓的，也必要按这卷所记载的被除掉。 | 3And he said to me: This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the earth: for every thief shall be judged as is there written: and every one that sweareth in like manner shall be judged by it. |
| 4我要发出这诅咒──万军上主的断语──它必进入盗贼的家和指着我名起假誓的家，住在那人家中，将这家，连它的木料和石头一并毁灭。」 | 4I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts: and it shall come to the house of the thief, and to the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof. |
| 5那与我谈话的使者又出来对我说：「你要举目观看这出来的是什么？」 | 5And the angel went forth that spoke in me, and he said to me: Lift up thy eyes, and see what this is, that goeth forth. |
| 6我反问说：「那是什么？」他回答说：「这出来的是『厄法』。」他又说：「这表示人在全地上的罪恶。」 | 6And I said: What is it? And he said: This is a vessel going forth. And he said: This is their eye in all the earth. |
| 7看，铅盖揭开了，在「厄法」当中坐着一个女人。 | 7And behold a talent of lead was carried, and behold a woman sitting in the midst of the vessel. |
| 8他于是说：「这是罪恶。」遂把她再装在「厄法」里，把铅盖盖在「厄法」的口上。 | 8And he said: This is wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the vessel, and cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. |
| 9我又举目观看，见有两个女人出现，有风吹动她们的翅膀──她们的翅膀好像鹤鸟的翅膀──她们将「厄法」提到天地之间。 | 9And I lifted up my eyes and looked: and behold there came out two women, and wind was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a kite: and they lifted up the vessel between the earth and the heaven. |
| 10我遂对那与我谈话的使者说：「她们将『厄法』带到那里去？」 | 10And I said to the angel that spoke in me: Whither do these carry the vessel? |
| 11他回答我说：「要往史纳尔地去，建造一座房屋；房屋一落成，就把它安置在那里。」 | 11And he said to me: That a house may be built for it in the land of Sennaar, and that it may be established, and set there upon its own basis. |
