| 1我再举目观望，看，有四辆车由两山间出来；这两座山都是铜山。 | 1And I turned, and lifted up my eyes, and saw: and behold four chariots came out from the midst of two mountains: and the mountains were mountains of brass. |
| 2第一辆车套着栗色的马，第二辆车套着黑色的马， | 2In the first chariot were red horses, and in the second chariot black horses. |
| 3第三辆车套着白色的马，第四辆车套着杂色的马，都很雄壮。 | 3And in the third chariot white horses, and in the fourth chariot grisled horses, and strong ones. |
| 4我问那与我谈话的使者说：「我主，这是什么意思？」 | 4And I answered, and said to the angel that spoke in me: What are these, my lord? |
| 5使者答应我说：「这些是侍立在全地的主宰之前，而今向天下四方出发的： | 5And the angel answered, and said to me: These are the four winds of the heaven, which go forth to stand before the Lord of all the earth. |
| 6那套着黑马的，向北方出发，白马则跟在后面出发，杂色的向南方出发。」 | 6That in which were the black horses went forth into the land of the north, and the white went forth after them: and the grisled went forth to the land of the south. |
| 7这些雄壮的马出来，切愿在地上往来巡逻。他于是说：「你们去，在地上巡逻罢！」牠们就在地上巡逻。 | 7And they that were most strong, went out, and sought to go, and to run to and fro through all the earth. And he said: Go, walk throughout the earth: and they walked throughout the earth. |
| 8以后，他呼唤我，对我说：「你看，向北方出发的，巳在北方平息了上主的怒气。」 | 8And he called me, and spoke to me, saying: Behold they that go forth into the land of the north, have quieted my spirit in the land of the north. |
| 9上主的话又传给我说： | 9And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: |
| 10「你该由归来的俘虏手中，即由赫耳待、托彼雅和耶达雅的手中取些礼物，就在今天，到从巴比伦回来的责法尼雅的儿子约史雅的家里去。 | 10Take of them of the captivity, of Holdai, and of Tobias, and of Idaias; thou shalt come in that day, and shalt go into the house of Josias, the son of Sophonias, who came out of Babylon. |
| 11你要拿银子和金子，做一顶冠冕，戴在大司祭约匝达克的儿子耶叔亚的头上， | 11And thou shalt take gold and silver: and shalt make crowns, and thou shalt set them on the head of Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest. |
| 12然后对他说：万军的上主这样说：看，有一个人名叫『苗芽』，他要自动萌芽，他要建筑上主的殿宇。 | 12And thou shalt speak to him, saying: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, saying: BEHOLD A MAN, THE ORIENT IS HIS NAME: and under him shall he spring up, and shall build a temple to the Lord. |
| 13是他要建筑上主的殿，是他要承受尊荣，坐在宝座上执政；并且有一位司祭立在他右边，他们二人之间必和平相处。 | 13Yea, he shall build a temple to the Lord: and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit, and rule upon his throne: and he shall be a priest upon his throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. |
| 14这顶冠冕要存在上主的殿内，作为赫耳待、托彼雅、耶达雅和责法尼雅的儿子约史雅的纪念。 | 14And the crowns shall be to Helem, and Tobias, and Idaias, and to Hem, the son of Sophonias, a memorial in the temple of the Lord. |
| 15远方的人必来共同建筑上主的殿；如此，你们便知道：是万军的上主派遣了我到你们这里来。如果你们真听从上主你们天主的声音，这事必要实现。」 | 15And they that are far off, shall come and shall build in the temple of the Lord: and you shall know that the Lord of hosts sent me to you. But this shall come to pass, if hearing you will hear the voice of the Lord your God. |
